Anyway bye bye World Cup investment. What am I supposed to do now!! Well finish editing my fic but that’s going slow bc I’m at unbelievable levels of employment rn believe it or not. And I can’t do much of anything during my Serious Job + can’t rly edit during my goof-off job (instead I have been writing Osamu Fic yayyy). Also I don’t want to overwhelm beta readers. Also it’s my passion project and my baby I want to make sure she’s ready…

I’ve been so locked into the World Cup for weeks (like ridiculous levels of locked in #ILoveFootball #ILoveSports) but w the elimination of Norway, which became an honorary Latin American country by a series of bizarre events and thus was carrying the hopes of the colonized ppl on its back, I am officially outta the race! Like oh so it’s France and Spain and England and stupid fucking Argentina in the semifinals. Wow! How riveting! EVERYONE EXPLODE.

Whatever. I have a backlog of VNL matches to watch anyway it’s just rough bc a lot of the time the matches are whole I am sleeping due to time zones. Also Cuba is doing rly spectacularly bad in the men’s VNL and they didn’t even make it in the women’s VNL so that’s rough. Iran is mid in the former and also didn’t make it in the latter but it’s ok bc Turkey has the most beautiful Cuban woman ever scoring point after point for them<3 Anyway I’m still dreaming ab that insane Argentina v Poland match. Volleyball is the one place I will root for arg sometimes. They’re not a powerhouse so it’s actually fun!

Figure skating is also on the brink of returning and oh boy is it gna be an interesting fucking szn 😭😭 no Kaori NO LOENA and we’re unclear on whether Alysa and ilia will be competing. We don’t know how long Amber plans on competing either.. Rio has finally graduated from juniors and yeah he chose the worst music known to man but he is 18 it’s fine. Meanwhile Yuma Kagiyama is taking the yr off WHICH IS GOOD. HAPPY FOR HIM AND HIS PHOTOGRAPHY INSTAGRAM AND HIS NEWLY BLEACHED HAIR. But omg I miss him already. Meanwhile Isabeau is doing a Rosalía program and a. Uh. Pirates of the Caribbean one (BENOIT IS BALD AND STEALING FROM PPL WHO HAVE HAIR.) And this is all just singles skaters. Excited for what’s to come!!!!!
