Maybe everything does happen for a reason. Maybe this is just to teach me to stop wasting my time, love and energy on people who don’t deserve it. Maybe this is my wake up call to realise I deserve better.

It’s probably one of the worst feelings, when you realise that not everyone has the same heart as you do. They will only meet you half way whilst you run circles around them. You will give up so much, change so much, do whatever it takes to be happy with one another. And they won’t even change the smallest thing.

Even nice people have their limits. There is no way, ten years from now, I will want to look back and hate myself for not realising sooner that I’m living through lie after lie, causing disappointment after disappointment, and I need to run away.

I’ve always lived my life putting others happiness before mine. Doing what they want. Going where they want to. Watching what they want to. Pleasing them to no end.

Then I get scared to want to do things that I want, because whenever the situation is turned around, they could not care less about what I want to do. Things I want to experience or see. They could not care any less.

Don’t waste your life away waiting around for someone saying they’re going to change. If it hasn’t happened yet, it will never happen. Pick yourself up and realise how much of a doormat you have become, how you are letting people walk all over you and wipe their feet on you when they’re done.

Accept it .. And find a way to move on to your true , full deserving happiness.
