Just One Night - chapter 9 teaser

“Sylvie Evelyn Brett” Stella’s words woke the PIC up next morning and as she opened her eyes she saw the faces of her two roommates and three coffee-cups.

“Ouch… Too much noice,” the blonde groaned and lifted her head up from her pillow, trying to figure out what was going on and who was standing on her chest as it felt like an elephant had beaten her whole body. Still the events of the previous night were eluding her.

“Well, you’ll be sitting in 61 in about an hour so better get used to it,” Emily winked and handed her the Tylenol from her bedside table.

“Oh my god…” the PIC flopped her head back down. “Do I have to?”

“You kinda do-,” Stella sighed and pulled her up from her hand. A silence fell into the room as Brett downed the pill and a glass of lukewarm water.

“So… We pumped into Casey last night,” Stella finally interrupted the silence and lifted her eyebrows at the PIC.

“Oh…” Sylvie’s eyes went wide as the events from last night flooded her mind and she felt her cheeks turn crimson.

“Did something happen? Why weren’t you with Dawson?” Emily asked.

“I think we broke up,” the PIC conceded.

I just have one thing to say….

As much as I understand actors being burnt out and ”in need for change” I really, really hope that this is just a break for Jesse, not the end.

I really hope that he’ll return in stellaride’s wedding and we’ll get the happy ever after for brettsey.

My heart is shattered enough by NCIS and ellick that I can’t lose my main ship here too…

(if you have any good ships in some shows, let me know. I need to heal my heart)

In the end we support Jesse with everything he does, but I hope that after a good old recharge and new energy he’ll bounce back by the season’s end and we’ll have a beautiful wedding and Mike Tyson’s tiger on top of 51.🥸

Can we please get a party when Matt and Kelly have been officers for 10 years? We know that Matt was promoted to lieutenant in 2011 (and I’m guessing Kelly was pretty close to that since they both lead truck/squad when Andy passed) so it should be sooooooon!! It would be a great opportunity to really celebrate the two men who hate celebrating themselves. They’d be trying to avert the attention to the other one back and forth and Stella and Sylvie would organise a huge party with Gallo’s, Ritter’s and Violet’s help. I want need to see this!!
