Today is the only day you can share this meme. Precisely 2000 years prior to March 6th 4017. The day Squidward trapped himself in the freezer. March 6th 2017.
Cool Lord of the Rings Soundtrack “Easter Egg”
In the Return of the King, an epic choral version of the Fellowship theme plays as Aragorn leads a charge on the Black Gate “for Frodo.”
The choir isn’t singing random vowel sounds, but singing in Elvish. The English translation of the lyrics: “If by my life or death I can protect you, I will. You have my sword.” (the words Aragorn said when he first joined the Fellowship way back in Rivendell. )

I can only assume this is from some amazingly realistic looking sports anime because there ain’t no goddamn way that happened in real life.
I’ve definitely reblogged this before, but I just think it’s super cute because there are like “golf manners” where you’re not supposed to make a huge ruckus but like EVERYONE felt it warranted cheering because HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A GREAT SHOT.
Dat shot tho

I’ve been planning to teach students how to describe videos and write transcripts and I shall save this post for this very purpose.
Yes, I did reblog this yesterday too. It’s good.
For teaching: ???
I think I’ve skipped this video so many times in the past. Thank you, transcriptionist. Please do not skip this video again, friends. I am laughing til tears form in my eyes.
This bird is amazing! Can’t quite tell whether he’s trying to intimidate Sir David or whether he’s trying to perform a mating dance, omg. One of the reasons I love David so much though is because animals always feel comfortable enough to behave how they want to - he lets them without any problem. Always so quiet and respectful. ;_;
