Right at the begging of the episode I was super stressed out because as soon as Bellamy peeked out of the sky roof someone grabbed him, but thank goodness for it being Arkers. AND MONTY GOT HIS MOM.
He deserves a little happiness. Although he then found out his dad was dead, at least he’s got his mom. And we get to meet Pike (spelling ?), who’s a little intense, and definitely hates the grounders. In the trailer for s3 we saw that he was trying to like rally the people against the grounders, so I’m sure he’s going to cause some trouble. Also when Pike mentions Clarke as a good student Bellamy just breaks out this huge smile which is nice to see. but its also a clear contrast to when in the rover Indra was talking about her as Wanheda and he was shaking his head. because he knows her, and he knows what she has done, and she shouldn’t be define by this one moment, and just hearing her being talked about as good, rather than a commander of death, makes him smile, which makes me smile!
As for the city of light, I’ve mentioned it before and ill mention it again, it totally seems like a sort of Tomorrowland thing. If you’ve seen that movie I’m sure you’d understand what I mean. But the whole thing is sketch, like how do you get there and why is there no pain or death. People can’t live forever. But everything looks so clean and pristine and I had this thought. There were some videos of the finale being filmed. and I was thinking, where the hell is that, they’re on these steps that don’t look damaged at all and it looks like a legit urban area whereas so far all we’ve seen in the 100 is woods, fields and desolate places that used to be urban, and ruins. Polis seems to be bigger with more structures but just from that scene where they zoomed out on Lexa from the window you saw the cement was crumbling. So is it possible that the finale happens in the city of light…?
I like the John Murphy and Emori, the whole ally thing, helping each other out. But who are her other buyers, and why would they want tech…Or is it just random buyers wanting to have resources to make a better life for themselves. Who knows?
So Roan is the ice nation queen’s son, but he was banished? Lexa was the one who could lift his banishment meaning she probably is the only that placed it. Did she do that out of revenge for the ice nation queen having killed Costia? Like you take a person I love and I’ll make sure you can’t see your son again…I don’t know. And I’m not sure if I like him or not. He seems bad ass and kind of cool, and he only took Clarke to get back to his people but at the same time he stabbed Bellamy and THAT IS JUST NOT OKAY.
That linctavia scene, when Lincoln was softly caressing her hair until she wakes up was just so dam adorable. They’re my faves. And I’m so glad they saved Nyko, I like him. But now they’re considering using the mountain? are they going to live there, I doubt it considering they just finally have gotten themselves settled with Arkadia with gardens and everything, so are they just going to have the mountain like open to anyone, or will it be guarded and only open to them? If a grounder is like wounded would they be able to go there…
There’s just something about Bellamy in grounder gear that does something to me. But my god that Bellarke scene. His puppy heart eyes when he saw her, a tiny smile. And then her being like DONT HURT HIM ILL DO ANYTHING. So many feels. But then roan stabbed Bellamy…SO not cool. And then Bellamy trying to walk on his just stabbed leg, bleeding all over the place trying to follow Clarke. The desperation in his eyes when we said we can’t lose her. My heart just broke. and in that moment it became very clear that he does love her. before it could have been interpreted as just deep caring, platonic love. but being that irrational and that desperate, he definitely loves her. he might also resent her for leaving but it doesn’t change how he feels deep down about her. I hope they reunite again soon because that was a terrible reunion. It was not what I wanted.
And Indra had left because she said she needed to warn Lexa about the ice marching army marching. And so she saw Clarke being brought in. do you think she’s going to tell Kane that Clarke is with the commander…
Speaking of Lexa, in the bts promo things, Alycia Debnam Carey had said that she was quite surprised when she read the script for that scene…probably because she didn’t expect to be spat on. I genuinely think that Lexa thought Clarke would be understanding of the choice she made to bring her there the way she did. she seemed quite surprised of Clarke’s reaction, which I kind of loved, but at the same time when she was yelling and being dragged out it broke my heart a bit too because you realize how unhinged she has become. How the whole thing in the mountain has changed her, just seeing Lexa, the one that betrayed her and forced her hand to do what she did made something snap inside of her. Also, Lexa totally just went back on her deal with Roan and “betrayed” him too..shes not great at keeping her word. Anyway…in the promo for next episode Lexa said she wanted Clarke’s people to be her people. Does she want that as a way to make up for what she did, or does she want to have a bigger army because she knows a war is “brewing” as she said with the ice nation. And then Clarke in the promo says she will never bow to Lexa but there’s a little snippet of someone bowing to Lexa that looks suspiciously like Clarke. but it’s in a room with like big doors and her hair seems to be done up and her leg is exposed so I think she’s in that get up that we saw in the first trailer for S3 (which I thought was going to be more at the end of the season, but if she’s bowing because they made a deal maybe it’s some sort of ceremonial outfit. I don’t know)
