I FUCKING DID IT CLEXAKRU MY NEWEST PHD PROJECT IS FINISHED

Im still working on small details such speed-run proof reading, typos and formatting. HOWEVER it's pretty much done YAY my huge thanks to the ones who believed me even when I didn't believe I could finish it myself!!!!!!!, it's my first small academic achievement since that damn burn out.

I still have a few hours tomorrow to adjust my academic curriculum and fill in a submitting form, but the worst part is finally done.

Spending the whole day on my desk is giving me war memories of my failure as a phD student. However, the good thing about trying again after so many mistakes is that now I have the slightest sensation that finally, FINALLY, I'm having a tiny clue of what I am doing and which choices I must make to reach my objective in this research.

When I started the PhD I was barely 26 and so frightened about losing everything that I've once achieved. I was scared of losing myself and being too weak and too dumb and etc. Welp, I'm still insecure as hell but after losing a lot of things and still surviving a tough grief I guess I am at least self-aware that there's no loss that will remain eternal. It can be long as hell, yeah, but it won't be forever.

I hope it works.

Since the beginning of my mom's disease until her passing I've been struggling with my academic life, life choices and care taking. And specially last year things got harder and I simply couldn't think about or lay my eyes on my research without having a panic attack.

I still have some issues with my last research, and I still have no intentions of revisiting it for now. But the possibility of submitting to another phD course sparked a little hope inside me.

Before everything, before this living hell, the academic atmosphere was everything that I've once dreamed of since high school. Now, more tired and sad than ever, I'm still struggling to find back the beauty of it.

The idea of this thesis came from an paper that I wrote two and a half years ago. Let's hope for the best.

Hello, Clexakru. I took the week off from the farm to write a new thesis after almost a year since my last (and worst) academic burnout.

It feels scary but I'm excited while writing for the first time after so long avoiding anything related to academic research. I'll give it a shot and try to write this one thesis project before giving up entirely on my academic career.

Sassymajesty... Her work... Oh my sweet baby jesus... I can't think any other thing to say about her besides that she is a miracle from the art of writing, herself. I won't tag her here since I'm too shy but yeah, to thought that I've only discovered her work one year ago but since then I can't stop reading her, as well my personal pantheon of Goddess of Clexa Fanfiction that lives in here.

For me, as a writer and a reader, it is indeed very important to comment and interact with the writers, whenever is possible. It reminds us of how AO3 and the fanfiction world is built by and for the people! We are not alone in our daydreams with characters and it is important to cherish that. I saw with my own eyes, more than once, an allegedly "abandoned" wip rise from the ashes after one single cheerful comment. I love this sensation and I'll do my best to share it with my favorite authors and fellow fandom colleagues whenever is possible. <3
