"…Fukawa, you’re lookin’ a little…"
Her eyes were red, her demeanor ten times more confident, and… who the heck could make their tongue stretch out that long? It was almost like Fukawa had a twin sister, or a clone, or something…
"…Not yourself."
✄ - - - ”Fukawa,” he said in a way where he wasn’t sure whether or not she was Fukawa, in a way she’s heard time and time again.
Syo has done this about a million times, and it usually goes a little something like this: first they mistake her for that soul-sucking gloom bomb of a girl, that’s the setup; then they see what they’re in for and it starts to get good, that’s the buildup; she’s got them pinned to the wall and screaming for bloody mercy, that’s the motherfucking climax; and once Gloomy gets a good hard look at her latest kill, that’s the denouement. She is spent.
Only problem is — this guy brought it up before it even struck her mind, before she decided if he was remotely doable.
But that’s alright, she’ll figure out who he is and if he’s got something worth giving soon enough. Her scissors aren’t the only sharp thing on her.
"Uh huh, yeah? And riddle me this, Gerard Way: how the hell am I supposed to look?” - - - ✄
Was there a side to Fukawa that the others had seen after his death? Because she wasn't at all like he remembered her - quiet, gloomy, muttering... And he'd even met her in the city before, too! Why was she... like this? Without realizing it, he took a step back, a bead of sweat trickling down the side of his face.
"Wh- what the crap is that supposed to mean? Huh!?"
Like always, when Leon became nervous, he opted to strike out with anger and defiance. She was frightening him with the drastic change; angrily, he narrowed his eyes and took an accusatory stance.
"Y-you're supposed to be all gloomy and stuff! Like you were before! Right?!"
"H-hey… hey, let’s… let’s not be killin’, alright…?"
Like Leon has any room to talk, but. Still.
✄ - - - Out of all the people to chip in on this apparent murder meeting tonight, this redhead seems to have caught Syo’s attention. Maybe there’s something familiar about him. Maybe she’s just really fond of the color red. Either way, Syo makes a comical shrug, like the subject totally isn’t pertinent to her.
"What? Whaaaat? Can’t a girl have some fun on a Thursday night?" - - - ✄

Greeeat. Another classmate he’d left behind after he, er, transferred out. And of all people, it had to be the hall monitor.
"…Hey, man."
Do his eyes deceive him? No they couldn’t have, his vision was perfect and was in no need of having any eye prescription. this was certainly the same Leon Kuwata back at school. Back when… that ridiculous game began. How was he here!?
"K-Kuwata-kun! I… I’m surprise to see you here, you’ll have to excuse me. I just didn’t expect this!" To see him alive, that is. Maybe that was what Fujisaki meant.
Man. He recognized the surprise in Ishimaru's eyes, and honestly, Leon couldn't blame him. There was no way to justify why a kid who got pelted with about a thousand baseballs was standing on his feet and walking around this city like it was no big deal, having nothing but some bruises across his abdomen to remember the horror by.
It was terrifying, and he understood why every time he thought about Maizono and Enoshima.
"M'not sure anyone did. Not me, that's for sure."

Greeeat. Another classmate he'd left behind after he, er, transferred out. And of all people, it had to be the hall monitor.
"...Hey, man."
Leon gave his co-worker a quick glance and then dragged his hands down his face in frustration. Great. So those bastards could bring the dead back to life - including him. Including Maizono. Probably the fake Enoshima, too. Not everyone here was dead, either, so what made him and the others special? Why did they grab some dead high school kids of all people? Was it because of their SHSL titles? Why even bother with that? What good could Leon do with his baseball skills here!?
But he looked back over to Flammelle, defeat plastered all over his expression.
"…Why would they do that? What good are walking corpses here?"
The other seemed to be clearly frustrated by this, but Flammelle wasn’t going to press. He barely knew the teenager outside of work anyway and even then their biggest conversation had been about fucking Kidz Bop. It wasn’t something that made them special; a ton of dead people had been brought here. Not just students from Hope’s Peak Academy.
Was Leon meant to be dead? From his clear frustration and defeated look, that was the only plausible explanation Flammelle could gather. But he wasn’t going to ask that unless Leon felt like telling.
“Well, maybe they just wanted to play god? Bringing back the dead is a pretty good way to do that. Plus, you have to consider there have been many great people in history who are now passed away… so why not try bringing them back to see what happens? That could apply to any world people in this city are from to be honest.”
The redhead bit his lip, staring into space for a few moments. So these bastards thought they could just resurrect whoever they pleased, just for fun? Bringing Leon back from the dead and letting him roam around a city like a damn ghost, sending him through anguish at the classmates he'd left behind - that was all fun?
What the hell was wrong with the world?
Between the despair academy he'd been dragged into and this hellhole city, Leon was at his wits' end.
Grabbing a few strands of crimson hair, the teen shook his head. "That - that doesn't make any sense, dude! I mean -- For fun? Just 'cause they're curious? Why is that - what could they even offer?! Urgh!"
"…Can the dead come back to life here…?"
Not that he had any room to talk, of course. But Maizono’s presence was freaking him out too much; he had to know some answers. Why were they all alive again? What was this city?
"Well, I’ve not experienced any dead person I knew coming back to life but from what I’ve seen, yes. The scientists have some way of bringing those who died in their own world to their experiment. No idea how it happens though, Leon."
Of course, he still had no idea about Leon having died previously. Or Ibuki.

"Are you serious? Are you — are you fucking serious!?”
How could she act so calm? How could she stand there, in his presence without being scared herself? Didn’t she know he killed her? That she’d attempted to kill him first, and because he retaliated he was executed because of her…
He took a few more steps back as she stepped forward, shaking his head. “N-no! No! Get away!”
"K-Kuwata, stop!! You’re scaring me!! What the heck is wrong with you?!”
Jesus Christ. Sayaka has clearly done something wrong. Something very, very wrong. To get him to act this way just by her presence…It didn’t seem like something he’d do. But what does she do? What is she supposed to do? Whenever she takes a step forwards, he takes on back—- so she picks up the pace. With her mind in a flurry, she grabs his wrists tightly as panic settles into her stomach. Swallows hard. Attempts to smile. Puts on the best mask she can muster.
"C-Come on, just calm down! Tell me what’s going on, and we can work this! I…I promise, I’m not going to hurt you— I just want to talk…"
Leon continued to back up, legs nearly giving way but remaining as sturdy as he could manage, until she stepped forward quicker than his back-pacing. He visibly flinched, afraid there would be a knife coming straight at him like last time. Fists went up across his chest to protect himself, but she grabbed his wrists before he could realize what was happening.
She had grabbed him.
At the touch, he let out a strangled yelp, writhing with all his might to get away. "S-stop! Stop it, goddammit! I don't - I don't want to die!"
Not again! He couldn't die again! He just couldn't take the pain and terror of the execution again; was this his punishment? To be presented with Maizono's image once more, only to be pushed into the batting cage and pelted with baseballs all over again?!
Before he realized it, tears had pricked at his eyes and streamed down his face, just as they had in the trial room.
"P-please, leave... leave me alone! I don't wanna die!"

3rd Person gets: A romantic kiss
"I- I gotta kiss you?"
The bear? How could he romantically kiss a bear? Was that... possible? Maybe if he pretended it was Ibuki or another girl...
Without thinking too much of it, he planted a kiss atop its stuffing-filled head, choking back the urge to gag.
Send me an emotion and I'll reveal a memory my character has that evokes that feeling in them.
