some funky chucklet concepts ive been cookin up,,,

hi clownblr !!! so as ive posted, i will be posting up some more baby clowns within the upcoming month! good news, i’ll be a large batch !!! (at least 5 or more-) and i wanted to share some concepts ive been working on for some of these clownbys, some of which are done and some im still experimenting with! 🤡 removable masks ( they’re tied with elastic so they can be removed and styled different ways!!! ) 🤡 floor-dragging hats ( hats that are so long, they basically drag on the ground !!! ) 🤡 sensory clowns !!! ( these ones im SUPER excited to work on !!! im basically making some sensory-friendly clowns,,, they can include things like weight, bells, soft pleasantly textured materials or fabric tags for tugging !!! ) 🤡 budget clowns ( smaller clowns made more budget friendly !!! the price is still being tweaked a bit but they shouldn’t be over $15 !!! ) 🤡 shaker clowns ( based off of resin shaker charms !!! but obvs translated for fabric- they’ll have lil tummies filled with glitter, charms or sprinkles n’ stuff like that <3 ) 🤡 and this is just a fun thing i wanna do?,,, clowns that come with friendship bracelets, or bracelet making kits! so that you and your friend can have fun making friendship bracelets together!  and a lot more !!!

The love I’ve been getting on my Clown bbys means a lot !!! Without going into too much detail, I’m chronically ill + disabled and finding a well paying job is difficult so I make these Clown Babies in my free time at my own pace for some pocket money and to avoid burnout,,, Just seeing the love and appreciation means a ton ! I figured I would answer a few questions i’ve been getting including how I make them and if I do custom orders.

How do I make them?

These types of dolls are called “yo-yo dolls” and are super easy to make! You can make them using scrap fabric and basic tools and even adjust them how you see fit. Don’t have a needle and thread? That’s ok because you can also assemble them with hot glue! ^.^ you can find a tutorial here! I actually make it a point to try and use leftover fabric/fabric scraps to make them so nothing goes to waste so they’re also a very good recycle project or just something fun to do when you’re bored!

Do I make custom clowns?

Yes! Custom Clowns start at $45 USD and go up in price depending on what’s wanted, they can take a couple of weeks to make though so please keep that in mind! I will probably only start off with 1 or 2 customs to see how it goes and to avoid burnout. At the moment I only ship within the US, I’m sorry! Feel free to DM me on my Depop for any Questions or to plan a Clown. ^.^
