backstory: arthur grew up with a very standard childhood. he was raised in the suburbs west of chicago in the company of two parents who loved him. his powers manifested at a young age, when he accidentally fried the house blender. however, a strange side effect was that it also caused intense auditory and visual hallucinations. one day when he was nine, it grew so intense that his powers expelled at a force he hasn't been able to reach since. lightning shot from his eyes and mouth, and it scarred his entire body, also killing his parents. after that, he was sent to a facility for the supernaturally insane in california, where he would be kept for the next 15 years. they would run experiments on him and the limits of his powers. they would send him, along with other patients, on heists and other missions, where he would be dubbed megawatt by the media. finally, at the age of 24, he was able to escape when a riot broke out. after days of walking, he finds torrance and, wanting to make something of himself, marches into town to try and join z-team.
