We are only human

We spend so much time trying to avoid our parents. Wanting to be nothing like them. Feeling like they could never understand us, because how could they?!

What a loss it is when there is no connection between a child and their parents.

Is it anyone’s fault though?

We grow up & we realize what we ignored all our childhood. Our parents, they are only human just like any of us. They are bound to make mistakes. Bound to fail at times, because just like us they to are still learning as they go.

So no they are not perfect. But neither are any of us humans.

Foundation

We built it up strong

From the ground up.

Placed piece by piece with precision.

Fortified the walls.

Hurricanes may come,

Tornados May blow by,

But it will still stand strong.

We built it to last.

We keep on fortifying,

Looking for any loose ends.

Replacing the weak with stronger material,

To make it last,

Last through it all.

Eternally growing

Looking into your eyes,

Thinking about how far we’ve come.

I smile.

Loving the space we are in.

Making sure to take my time,

Understanding every part of you.

I realize I’m falling for you all over again.

Making me feel like I’m on top of the world.

Babii boy lets keep making new memories.

Let’s not stop working on us

I just love you so much

are so simple to peel away

all of the thoughts

swimming through your eyes

everything about you

is so difficult to most

even to yourself

but loving you

is the easiest thing I’ve ever done

is the best thing I’ll ever know

Honesty

We all want it. Relationships need it to survive or so it’s been said. But 9 out of 10 times most of us don’t really want to know it. Honesty hurts more often than not. And sometimes it leave this hole that we don’t know what to do with. Yea sure it’s the very healthy thing to do and yes if we are honest from moment one then everything makes sense. But what about when everything seems perfect when you are comfortable and happy. Honesty can ruin that. Sometimes some things are better left unsaid depending on the situation.

Thought of the day #4

Beginnings are always the most beautiful part of anything. The excitement. The freshness of it all. Why is it that life works so crappy like that. Instead of things getting better more vivid more exciting with time they kinda just dull out. We as humans do not appreciate anything truly. But are quick to cry when things end in a way that was never envisioned. Why do we expect to keep all the magic and joy without putting any of the work. We let everything become stale like bread. Intoxicating. Let all try a little harder to keep the beauty of beginnings all through out.

Time

Tick toc,

Tick toc,

Minutes flow by.

Hours fly.

Look at all that’s come to be.

Experience.

Yet,

Everything has flown so quickly by

There was no time to truly live it.

Tick toc you silly little clock

As we continue to unappreciate the seconds

Look at her!

She was willing to do it all for you.

Help you grow.

Your rider she was

But that didn’t matter,

Your goals were set on yourself.

Now what is she to do.

She had future plans with you.

But all that just got blown away

Yet,

Still she loves you

But she is no longer whole

You broke her 💔

There are so many people that think about you and appreciate you- or at one point have- that you don’t even realize. The pregnant lady you gave your seat to on the subway told her husband about it. The bartender you tipped 50% thought about it the whole night. Then there are the people like your little sister who look up to you and your dog who thinks you’re literally his whole world. There are so many lives you affect that you don’t even know about so don’t ever try to say that you don’t matter.
