i feel like we really don’t need a million pride flags. it gives hogwarts houses and sweatshop temu accessories. it gives sense of identity through consumerism. it gives those pic art avatars fuckk whatever they’re called from 2019. and most importantly its unchic
When it shpuld be a silhouette of a cock
wish this was around back in 2016-22 when this problem was reaching it’s head #needed
need to wash the bedding + stained clothes today
random lore drop but my building has the strangest problem where there’s something wrong with the solar panels so it BOILS the entire buildings water supply upon getting one single minute of sunlight. so you can’t shower/wash your face between the hours of 6 am to 7 pm because you’ll get a burn. the most you can do is dip your hands in the water for brief seconds to wash them. anyways this place is shit and i’m a chud for paying exorbitant amounts to live here. also a chud for procrastinating a shower past night so now i have to wait another 12 hours for the sun to go down

even food won’t satiate you when you’re in a terrible state of mind. you can spend as much as you want on the most delectable things you can find but none of it will hold the comfort that a meal that you cooked when happy and relaxed will have.
local woman doesnt choose career family or even freedom
“For example, if you’re trying to convince people to boycott a segregated store, your object is to convince them that boycotting the store will have a strategic effect, not that desegregation is morally important. For whatever reason, on a cognitive level human beings have a really hard time with this. Smucker cites an example of a Lefty roleplaying session where people were tasked with selling an action to people who agreed with them on principle but didn’t see the strategic merit of the action. Surprisingly, the sellers couldn’t make the conceptual switch to sell strategic merit: instead, they doubled down on THIS ISSUE IS IMPORTANT — even though it had been stressed to them that the people they were selling to bought into the importance of the issue. People react poorly to “this is important, so do WHATEVER I SAY”; they want to be convinced that what you’re proposing will work.”

Also from above:
“Bob Wing, a grassroots organizer, explains this nicely: “If winning feels impossible, then righteousness can seem like the next best thing.” But righteousness is not conducive to getting normies to join your team if your team cannot demonstrate ability to, at least sometimes, win. Nor does righteousness help you make real inroads with regular people.”
Somewhat related, my favorite comic strip of all time:
“Time is not a straight line, it’s more of a labyrinth, and if you press close to the wall at the right place you can hear the hurrying steps and the voices, you can hear yourself walking past on the other side.”
— Tomas Tranströmer (1931-2015), from “Answers to Letters”, in: “The Great Enigma”, translated from the Swedish by Robin Fulton

a beautiful mess it is
the story of ballerina farm fills me with genuine horror because that man took EVERYTHING from her. he stalked her into a date, completely ignored her desire to wait a year before getting married, and made her the first pregnant juilliard graduate ever. he moved her to brazil and then back to the US onto a remote farm, knocking her up EVERY SINGLE YEAR. he took away her dance studio and hijacked her interview. the only time she got an epidural was when he wasn’t around. and then, for his final act, he took her name and identity, and painted it across their infected milk factory’s facade. he took her dreams, her future, her health, her community, her city, her IDENTITY, hollowed it out and filled it and her with himself.
she gets so exhausted she has to spend a week in bed to recover!! and they’re definitely raising their kids to follow their same path!!
i watched a video where the family unwrapped their christmas gifts and the boys were gifted some motorised horses to practice for the rodeo on, and the PAIN in the girls voices when they asked why they didn’t get it too. hannah laughed and said it was for all of them but in the time i’ve followed their story it’s only the boys that go for the cowboy camps and outdoor activities. the girls go for ballet and singing.
plus they don’t groom their dog as much as they should be. nightmare all around.
