♦ NOTICE x2: Continued Inactivity!

♦ Hi you guys!! It’s been a little while, hasn’t it?

♦ The internet back at home cut out before I could properly wrap up anything over here on Mew, nevermind the rest of my blogs, and Tumblr mobile isn’t all that suited for formatting, so I’m sorry that there hasn’t been any RP content for a while!

♦ Otherwise; my family has plans to spend the rest of summer vacation traveling out of the state and visit some relatives, and I’m in on the ride with them. Right afterwards, I’ll be starting my third year of college. This will mean I will be away for the rest of August up until September 10th-ish. For the days following that, my blogs will sport limited activity until I can get accustomed to the work I am given during my classes.

♦ I’m really excited about everything that’s been happening in real life, though, and I can’t wait to come back to Tumblr and RP with all of you when it’s all said and done!

♦ With that said; I hope the rest’ve your summers go awesomely, everyone!

Grey blinked a bit as the pink pokemon came up close and waved, but he was more startled by the fact it could speak. Had he finally gone insane?

Stay.. Yeah.. he could stay..

“….Not really..” Grey murmured and looked away. As interesting or alarming as a talking pokemon was, he didn’t really want to think about it. It was no different than any other person that talked to him.”I’m not supposed to run around.. nurse said its bad for my health..”

He’d only recently been allowed to leave the hospital. It had been quite the alarming situation, waking up with no memory would bother most kids. But Grey had remnants.. he understood a few things. One of which was his name.

“I’m Grey…” He looked down at cyndaquil before picking him up and showing him to the pink pokemon. “this is Shrimp. He cant talk but he’s still good.”

Running could be bad for this kid's health?

Mew didn't know a lot about how humans and how they stayed healthy, but wouldn't running help a human, nevermind a child? And if a nurse was the one to suggest that, then this kid...

... must be really bad at moving around.

Mew nodded their head, and they closed their eyes contentedly as they reached a conclusion that made sense to them.

✿ “Hi, Grey! Hi, Shrimp!”

✿ “Just because you can't run, doesn't mean we can't play. There're lots of games you can play without having to run around.”

✿ “Like Hide and Seek! Or Twenty One Questions! Or Simon Says!”

✿ “... Though if you ask me, I understand all of those games but Simon Says. Like, who's Simon?”

And why did they have to listen to what Simon said? What if they played the game without Simon? Who was in charge then??

✿ “What’s this? What’s that?? Wait, wait, there’s another one! There are so many of them! There’s millions of them!!”

Mew zipped about erratically from one point to another and back as they tried to grab one of the tiny white bits of sky with their paws. Being newly created, they were still coming into grips when it came to levitation; lucky for them, they managed to hook a falling flake with a forepaw before their excitement made them lose their (telekinetic) balance. They gave their newly captured prize one glance before excitedly turning to their mentor.

✿ “What is this? What are they?”

"𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐍𝐎𝐖, 𝐌𝐄𝐖.“

✿ “Snow?”

Mew tilted their head up to watch the snow falling, managing to keep themselves upright as they did so.

"𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍, 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐙𝐄𝐍. 𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐈𝐓?”

✿ “More snow?”

Mew’s voice was brimming with excitement, and they zigzagged their way back to their mentor.

✿ “Oooh! Please, please, please!”

As their mentor nodded its head and began to lead the way, Mew tried to grab one more snowflake. It was only until their mentor was nearly out of sight did the mythical Pokemon stop their game and chase after it…

Upon seeing the twirl and overall personality of the pink psychic pokemon floating before him, Salvador calmed down and took a moment to prepare himself to respond in the most “cool” way the Sneasel could think of. He felt the wind with his tail feathers and waited until it blew in his direction so that his red scarf and feathers were blowing in an awesome way. He was an Ice Type after all, so doing this was to be expected. Salvador had to be the most coolest pokemon at all times!

“My name is Salvador! Twas the name given to me by my owner before they were taken up to the heavens by the almighty Arceus! You also need not aplogize to me for the frightful introduction Stylish Pink as I am perfectly fine. Your kindness is obvious to me at this point, so I swear that I shall not fear you! As a gentleman it is vital I remain calm in the face of adversity! However, it would appear that this world does not take kindly to mon such as myself. I don’t understand why humans are so hated by my fellow pokemon. My owner was as kind to me as could be and showered me with more affection than anyone of my lowly standard deserved.”

“And yes, in answer to your question I would like to be friends with you! I’ve been dying to have such a connection with someone since I first left the hallowed ground of my former home. You are already aware of how many of the pokemon I’ve met have reacted to my presence. Yet unlike them, you do not seem to have any problems my prior connections to the human race. May I ask why it does not affect you? Have you been near humans before? If so when? I’d like to know!”

✿ “Whoooaaa...!”

This Salvador Pokemon sure knew how to make an introduction! What a total turn around from the Pokemon he was just moments before; the Mew's eyes seemed to glimmer with admiration as he spoke, and they excitedly clapped their paws once he finished.

✿ “You're so cool! And you're super fancy and gentlemanly, too!”

Mew giggled to themselves, and they flew in slow figure eights above and around the Sneasel as they answered him;

✿ “Some Pokemon don't like humans - which is sad, but I'm sure they have their reasons. Or, or, they just need to understand humans a little bit more - just like how humans are still trying to understand us.”

✿ “I've seen lots and lots of humans during my adventures all around the world - good humans, bad humans, and a little bit of both types of humans. I've only really gotten to meet and learn about those who wanted to see me - and a good number of them were very kind and pure of heart.”

✿ “I like those humans a lot!”

✿ “Otherwise-”

The Pokemon giggled again.

✿ “- It's really funny and cute when humans get excited after capturing even a teeny glimpse of me. Their reactions never get old!”

✿ “Either way, I can appreciate a Pokemon who likes humans too. Yours sounded like a nice one.”

Losing somebody important was never easy. They could only imagine what Salvador had gone through since losing his Trainer; but, surely, becoming a wild Pokemon won't be all that bad once he got used to it.

✿ “The wildnerness has looots of stuff to do in it, and there are all sorts of hidden secrets and goodies everywhere. I think you'll like it out here!”

“Ahhh! No! Don’t hurt me! I’m too young! I can’t die yet! Please…”

Salvador backed away the instant he felt the small paws touch his face. He wasn’t used to being touched by others without him being the one to instigate such actions. Once his nerves sufficently calmed down however, he gazed at the floating feline with a confused expression. The Sneasel was sure he’d seen this pokemon somewhere before, yet wasn’t sure of where. He tried to remember.

“Forgive my fear, I thought you were one of those violent wilds that keep trying to kill me off. None of the other pokemon around here like me too much because I’ve spent most of my life living around a human. Do you hate me too?”

He came across as rather sad without meaning to.

✿ “- Oh!”

Oops?

The mythical Pokemon retracted their paws moments after the Sneasel backed away. His explanation made them tilt their head, seemingly confused by his words.

✿ “Violent wilds?”

Mew tilted their head the other way.

✿ “I'm not a violent and wild Pokemon. I'm Mew!”

The Pokemon swayed this way and that as they spoke, their voice merry the entire time;

✿ “Any Pokemon who's mean to you about spending your life with humans are big meanies themselves. But don't worry; I'm not mean, and I definitely don't hate you!”

✿ “I'm reeeally sorry if I made you feel scared. I just want to be friends with you!”

They finished their speech with a twirl.

✿ “Are you new around here? This place has lots of fun things in it! I can show you around!”

It took it by surprise, telepathy wasn’t something the GREEN LION experienced. Pidge spoke out loud and so did it when in this form, and when piloted it was never words, just a gentle FEELING of what it wanted Pidge to do. Yet now the sound-waves weren’t caught by its ears, instead heard directly in its head; a clear and joyful voice. Ah, it was a mysterious creature indeed.

“Everywhere? How can you be from everywhere?” rose the question, eyes widening slightly as it reasoned to itself. To be from somewhere was the place where one was born — created — or from a place one spent the most of their first years at, a home of sorts. But HOME was an abstract word it had learnt. Home wasn’t always the place where one had been born, but could very well be the place it currently resided or simply preferred. However, how could something be from everywhere?

The two of them were both met with an unique encounter it seemed, and the Green Lion made a soft, humming noise, “I’m the Green Lion, one part of five. If I was like others my purpose for being created would be nothing”, it replied. It didn’t refer to itself as a person, no, for the Green Lion was nothing but an item, a machine. “How do you float…Mew?” it was a short and sweet name ( it found it enjoyed saying it ).

How could they be from everywhere, indeed?

Mew tilted their head for a moment, a soft and thoughtful hum gently reverberating in their telepathic voice. Seemingly satisfied with an answer, Mew began to slowly fly in circles around the Green Lion, their tone cheerful;

✿ “I'm from everywhere, because I can be from anywhere.”

✿ “I can be from the greenest and biggest of forests, or from the bluest and bluest of seas; I can be from the coldest of mountains, or the hottest of volcanoes - or even the deepest, most mysterious depths of space and the stars, too!"

Mew slowed to a stop in front of the Green Lion, their gaze innocent and questioning.

✿ “That's weird, though, to say that you're something that's created for nothing. Is that another way of saying that you were made to be anything you wanted to be?”

Because to be nothing meant that one could be whatever they wished to be - just like how Mew could become any Pokemon they felt like being. The thought made the mythical creature giggle with contentedness.

✿ “We're pretty alike, if that's the case! That's so cool!”

✿ “Anyway: I can do this-”

Mew twirled in place for emphasis.

✿ “- because I think about doing it all the time! - And since I think about it all the time, it comes naturally; it's a sub-conscious thing, long story short. Flying is like breathing for me, except with my mind instead of anything physical!”

✿ “I can make other things float, too, if I thought about it - like you, Green Lion!”

✿ “Oh! Speaking of you - so there are five other beings like you? What are you guys if there has to be five of you?”

And for nothing, as the Green Lion said?
