[every day i see an Alex Webb photograph get traction on this site, i think about all the Black photographers y’all should’ve given traction instead. like this photo has *good* commission but really this image only has substance because of the Black/Brown subjects, not because of the photographer in anyway. like i’m not just trying to bring this up all the time to make ppl upset. soo much of the Black narrative is through white gaze and we should try to change that more. support Black more photographers so they can book gigs that let them shoot what Alex Webb shouldn’t be shooting in the first place. fuck white gaze.]
