Ok, let me be honest:

honestly there are many things that made S2 OF MSHD a little less attractive to me as a sapphic lol... no, but its not like that: the boring plot about men and straight couples that don't add anything more + than screentime and a few laughs sometimes. i love the ceci & the boy plot though. but ferraz was really there to be a pivot between Ana & Mariana. i'm telling already why i didn't give up AND WAS THE KISS. jk. there so many subtext to Ana & Mariana scenes that makes even more interesting to watch the development of them. Also Ludwika & Paulina chemistry seems stronger and deeper that's why the kiss was so so good, saying many things without using words. when actors can portrait this kind of energy is very magical to watch.

But coming back to the subtext... its not even so subtle when "El amor mas grande" starts to play. When Ana stares mariana's mouth the entire season. lack of screentime they had. The camera's close ups and other shots is very interesting to see too, like its all there, but so subtle cause the focus is always in another character or another plot, but the camera is really the soul of the history so, when mariana wins the poker game, we can see only 3 closeups:

But only two firsts: Mariana smiling, and making visual contact with Ana (Who is across the room). Then the close-up goes to Ferran, this is really story-telling and too obvious proving Ferran #3, not the point of the conversation, cause if he was the love interest of mariana, who the camera would focus too? obviously him, but he isn't😄 sOo bye corno.

it's kinda irritating how obsessed i am to things, and understanding scene dinamycs is one of them. i really think mariana isn't over ana, the way she looks at her and can only shows devotions is all in her face, love how Paulina seems to be so involved in the character and how her expressions change immediatly when she sees Ana / Lud and talk to her, like if she needed to take a breath, girrrl, i feel ya. Ana seems more enchanted and Ludwika really have ocean eyes.

some little things i notice during the kiss, is how mariana changes like in 2scs and is very fast but u can see she's looking foward to the kiss and close her eyes and is suddenly waiting or smt else but ana is still with her eyes opened and watching mariana's reaction and is pure gold.

Im tired to write and i hope i didn't mess up everything here. I really have sm thoughts abt #maryana and #villaneve and i hope to write more about them later.

and i hope netflix bring us season 3 cause i need this. but it's kinda obvious they will |3
