it’s international assistance dog week! 🍃

so happy that this month’s disabled selfie night has fallen inside this week so i can brag about my service dog. hiking has always been one of my favorite activities, but for a long time it was not safe for me to do alone, especially in the summer, in case i were to faint or fall and hit my head. finley tells me before i pass out, leads me around obstacles, and helps me walk, among other things. he prevents problems, assists me through them, and aids in recovery once they’re over. he makes it safe for me to independently do what i love, and i will forever be grateful. 💚
