The Red Keep was colder this time of year. Fires burned brighter, more frequently, ensuring the royal family was kept warm. And there you sat, prim and proper as your mother had taught you by the fireplace in your temporary chambers, practicing the new embroidery pattern the Queen had taught you just a few nights ago. Embroidery was one of the many things taught to you upon the announcement of your betrothal to Prince Aemond Targaryen.
You had learned High Valyrian prayers because he spoke the language fluently. You had read all of his favorite histories so that you may have something in common to talk about. You attended every feast, every royal dinner, every single event that he was in attendance of, despite disliking the crowds. Even with all of the discomfort, you had even learned how to remain proper because the future wife of a prince was expected to be graceful and obedient.
Perfect. You had spent months trying to be perfect for your future husband. Yet, Aemond was beginning to suffocate under it.
“Prince Aemond,” you bowed your head upon approaching him in the library. You held out to him one of his favorite books, one from his childhood. “I noticed that the stitching on the cover had begun to fray, so I went and cleaned it up for you.” Your smile was perfect, even Aemond could admit that. Holding out the book to him expectantly, your smile never wavered, even as all the prince did was stare at the book.
“You need not to continue doing mere favors for me, princess.” Aemond remained stoic. Your face softened as you shook your head.
“But I wanted to.”
“Everyday?” Aemond asked, slightly cocking his head to the side. Your smile faltered, but never dropped from your face.
“I simply wish to make you happy, my prince.” Your words struck something inside of him, something deep down that he had been pushing further and further away. That was his problem. You always were trying to make him happy. You were too agreeing, too compliant, never asked him for anything in return for your favors. To him, it had felt less like a betrothal and more like you were his personal servant.
“My prince?” Your sweet voice disrupted his thoughts. Aemond’s jaw tightened.
“I do not require all of your gifts, nor any of your favors.”
“I know.” You nodded. Too understanding.
“You need not read every history I’ve read.”
“Well, I simply thought–”
“You need not think about what I could possibly want or need in my every waking moment.” His words came out sharper than he had intended and he watched your face fall. Silence settled between you, then you lowered the book. He watched as you cast a quick glance at the book then back to him.
“I am sorry, my prince.” You apologized, lowering your head like a puppy with its tail between its legs. Your immediate apology made something snap inside him. Because of course you apologized to him. You always apologized. You apologized for existing, for taking up space, for making mistakes that weren’t mistakes, and in a moment of white hot frustration he said something he will regret for all of eternity.
“I did not ask for you.” Your face paled at his admission. The realization of the terrible thing he had said seemed to strike him like a sword to the chest, but he was too late. He couldn’t take it back. You looked utterly devastated, as though his words had cracked upon your heart like a whip. There was silence, absolute silence. Aemond watched as tears made your eyes shimmer and you set the book down on a nearby table so carefully. Then, you curtsied. Formal. Distant. A proper, perfect princess. And you walked away, leaving Aemond stood frozen. Gods. What had he done?
Tears brimmed your eyes upon the memory. After that moment in the library, you did not see him out the next day. Nor the day after. No longer did gifts from you appear in his bedchambers. No longer did you extend an invitation to him for a walk in the gardens. No longer did you hold quiet conversations over histories with him during dinner. There was nothing and for Aemond, the absence was unbearable. For the first time, Aemond finally realized how much space you occupied in his life. He did not miss you for the things you gave him. He did not miss you because of how much you tried to please him. He missed you because you were there. Always there. Always patient. Always loving. He missed your smile, he missed the way your eyes lit up when you spoke to him about the things you enjoyed– things he now realized he rarely asked you about.
By the fourth day, his guilt had consumed him. So, he sought after you. And there you were, peacefully sitting alone in the gardens, bundled up in a heavy cloak that shielded you from the cold breeze, nose buried in a book that he had never seen before. Something that belongs entirely to you. The sight made his chest ache, but he did not approach you right away. He stayed watching, admiring. After a moment, he gathered his courage to approach you and you noticed him right away. Quickly closing your book, you rose to your feet, bowing your head.
“My prince.” The distance in your voice was worse than any pain Aemond had experienced before. He didn’t speak right away, just holding your gaze.
“I was cruel.” He said after a few moments. You said nothing. “I allowed my frustration to cloud my judgement and I hurt you.”
“You said you never asked for me.” You finally spoke, your voice meek. Aemond took a step forward, testing the waters.
“I regret those words more than you could ever know.” He admitted, slowly reaching for your hands. You felt his finger tips brush against the back of your clasped hands. You quickly glanced down at your barely connected hands and then allowed him to hold onto them. His hands were warm compared to yours, your eyes briefly closed at the contact.
“Why did you say it?” You asked, feeling brave.
“I was watching a woman exhaust herself trying to become someone who she thought I wanted.” Aemond admitted, shaking his head. “I did not want that.” You paused, looking down.
“But it is my duty, my prince.”
“No.” He grit, causing you to look up in surprise. “It is not your duty.”
“But–”
“I do not wish for perfection.” He stepped closer to you, lowering his voice. You could feel his breath brush against your face. Timidly, you held eye contact with him.
“Then what do you wish for, my prince?” Aemond let go of your hands. One hand finding your waist, the other finding the side of your face, pulling you even closer.
“I wish for you, princess.” His voice softened. Your heart fluttered at his confession. And for the first time in days, the ice that had frozen your heart had cracked. Aemond moved his face closer to yours. Tentatively. He was uncertain if you would allow such a close proximity. But when you didn’t pull away, he decided to close the gap between the two of you. Capturing your lips in a soft kiss, you tasted his apology. And as always, you forgave him.
It has certainly been a WHILE. I will be back to posting my stories, so if any of you have any requests, send them my way !
Truth be told, the reason I stopped posting on here for a long while was due to a posting issue. I remember trying to post some longer fics and for some reason, at the time, Tumblr either wouldn't let it upload or it was immediately flagged and taken down.
After a while of trying to post, I unfortunately gave up on posting on here. BUT ALAS, I wanted to eventually try again.
So here I am.
If you were curious, in the time I've been "dead" I've graduated from University (yay!!).
But like I said, I still have such a love for writing (especially fanfiction) so PLEASE !! If you have any requests, send them my way. I will be updating my writing list for characters or fandoms I can write for.
Thank you for those of you who've stuck around <3 <3
I have soooo many things finished and ready to post... however, there is an issue.
Every single time I try to post the big files, Tumblr crashes and won't let me post it. And I don't want to split one part into two parts to let me post it for y'all.
Is this happening to anyone else?
Do you have any ways to try and fix this? I really want to give you guys the reading material you want.
Hiii, guys ! Just wanted to pop in with a little update.
School has been really busy for me these past few months, but don't you worry- I am still working on all of your requests and making new parts to current imagines !
I'm actually going on break very soon, so there will be lots of writing happening on my part.
Warnings: Swearing, a bit of smut, tension within the family, moving out

A/n: I really hope that you guys like this part. I tried my best to make it the best quality, but I'm not sure if it's declined a bit since I'm back at college. Let me know what you guys think !
A/n: This also jumps around all over the place.. I'm so sorry, my brain is scrambled eggs.
I think I'll write little parts about whatever you guys want to see happen within the story.
What I have planned:
Hellfire meeting Mallory
Eddie Munson taking care of Mallory when Y/n isn't home
Dustin as an uncle
Wayne and Claudia as grandparents

Y/n and Mallory were discharged from the hospital after two days. Eddie had been going back and forth from the trailer, to the hospital, to Y/n’s house, then back to the hospital in order to get things ready for the baby. Y/n and Eddie had talked about it a little bit before, but they never really got to a solid plan for the living situation. Claudia argued that the best place for Y/n and Mallory was with her at her house, but Wayne thought that it’d be easier if she and the baby lived in the trailer because then Eddie wouldn’t have to go back and forth between houses to see his baby.
“I just think that our home is better for the baby.” Claudia said to Wayne as they sat in the waiting room of the hospital, waiting for Y/n and Eddie to gather all of their things from the room.
“I understand where you’re coming from.” Wayne nodded. “But at the trailer, both Eddie and Y/n can take care of Mal.”
“No offense to you, Wayne,” Claudia began. “But I do not want my granddaughter living in a trailer park.”
“You think the trailer park is dirty or something?” Wayne squinted his eyes. “Look, it’s not the best place, but I don’t want Mallory to grow up with her parents going back and forth.”
“Wayne,” Claudia sighed, shaking her head.
“And you don’t want Eddie living at your place, so I don’t see why it’s a big deal if the two just stayed at mine.” Wayne continued. “I’ll gladly take Y/n in.”
“It’s not about taking Eddie in, Wayne.” Claudia sternly said. “They’re not married. They shouldn’t be living together.”
“That’s ridiculous.” Wayne scoffed, placing his hands on his knees. “They just had a baby for Christ’s sake.”
“That does not give them permission to behave like a married couple.” Claudia said, exasperated.
“Claudia,” Wayne leaned forward slightly. “They have a baby together. It doesn’t matter if they’re married or not, that baby needs to be taken care of!”
“And she will be.” Claudia nodded. “At my house.”
Claudia and Wayne never told Y/n about this little spat that they had. However, Eddie knew all about it via Wayne complaining about it. No, Wayne didn’t hate Claudia… Wayne didn’t really hate anyone. He was just annoyed that he wasn't able to see his "granddaughter" as much as Claudia was allowed to. He was also annoyed with the fact that Eddie would have to constantly go back and forth everyday just to see his daughter.
"Do we have everything?" Eddie asked Y/n, who sat in a wheelchair cradling Mallory in her arms.
“Looks like it.” She nodded. “We didn’t really bring much stuff.”
“That’s true.” He agreed, still glancing around the room for any objects of theirs that they may have left behind. “Well, then I’m ready if you two are.”
“We’re ready.” Y/n smiled, accepting the kiss that Eddie pressed to her lips. He stood up and grabbed the handles of Y/n’s wheelchair, pushing her out of the room. They wheeled down the maternity ward hall, waving at the nurses and doctors as they bid them goodbye. Y/n smiled down at Mallory’s sleeping face. Even though she was only two days old, she had a full head of hair. The day before, Wayne had told Y/n that Eddie also had a full head of hair when he was first born as well. He promised her that he’d pull out Eddie’s baby books to show her just how much hair Eddie had when he was born. Mallory was absolutely perfect. Sure, every new parent thinks that their baby is perfect, but everyone that saw Mallory instantly fell in love with the small brown-eyed, curly-haired girl. Although Y/n couldn’t stop looking at Mallory, she was absolutely exhausted and couldn’t wait to be home and shower.
“Wayne!” Eddie smiled upon seeing his uncle in the waiting room. Both Claudia and Wayne stood up and smiled at the new parents.
“Hey, Eddie.” Wayne smiled, giving him a hug. “Ready to go home?”
“Yeah.” He nodded. “I told Mal all about the trailer.”
“Oh, everything’s already set up at our home.” Claudia said, making Eddie nod.
“Really?” He asked in surprise. “Thanks, Mrs. Henderson!”
“We’re just here to see if you need any help with your things.” Claudia smiled.
“We’re all good here.” Y/n told her mother. “We just need a ride.”
“I brought my car.” Wayne said. “The car seat is already set up.”
“Perfect.” Y/n sighed. “Thank you, Wayne.”
The car ride to Y/n’s house was pretty much silent. Y/n had sat in the middle of the back seat in between Mallory’s car seat and Eddie. But the second Mallory was asleep, Y/n fell asleep as well, her head leaning on Eddie’s shoulder.
“You three make a beautiful family.” Wayne complimented, looking in the rearview mirror.
“I was thinking the same thing.” Eddie smiled, his arm wrapped around Y/n, hand resting on Mal’s car seat. “I was also thinking about getting a job. A real one.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.” Eddie nodded. “I don’t want to burden you guys with a screaming baby at night. And I think it’d be easier if we were all under the same roof.”
“I think so too.” Wayne agreed. “Listen, if you need help, I’ll always be there. Hell, I will get you two an apartment if it means Mallory will be well taken care of.”
“You mean that?” Eddie asked, eyebrows scrunching.
“Of course.” Wayne said sincerely. “I don’t want you two living from paycheck to paycheck.”
“I’d actually really appreciate that, Wayne.” Eddie answered. “We all would.”
“Consider it done, then.” Wayne smiled. “I know a good place for you three.”
“Okay, Mally girl,” Y/n cooed, placing the baby on a towel that had been laid out on her bed. “I’m gonna change you now.”
“Can I do it?” She heard Eddie say from the doorway of her room. Y/n smiled and nodded.
“Sure.” She moved over to allow Eddie to stand in front of his daughter. “It’s number two, though.”
“I don’t care.” He shrugged, rolling up his sleeves. “I’m a dad now, gotta get used to getting down and dirty.”
“Well, then,” Y/n smirked, patting him on the back as she passed by. “I’ll leave you to it.”
“How bad can it even be?” Eddie asked his daughter, who stared up at him.
“Y/n!” Eddie shouted from the bedroom. “Oh, god, Y/n, she’s peeing everywhere!”
“You gotta do it fast, Eds.” Y/n stood by the doorway, watching as Eddie scrambled to find a clean diaper. “The air is cold to her.”
“Oh god, oh god,” Eddie grabbed a fresh diaper and quickly wiped away at Mallory’s bottom. “Okay, okay, I think I got it.”
“Don’t forget to stick the tabs on the sides.” Y/n pointed out, an amused smile on her face. Eddie did as he was told and fastened the tabs on the side of the diaper. He clapped his hands and pointed at Mallory.
“Did I do it?” He asked hopefully. Y/n walked over to the bed and looked at the baby.
“Actually, yeah.” She nodded, impressed. “You did pretty good.”
“Crushing it.” He sang, making Y/n giggle.
“C’mon, let’s put her to bed.” She said. He nodded, gently scooping Mallory up and walking her to her crib at the end of Y/n’s bed. The two young parents stood watching their newborn daughter sleep. Eddie wrapped his arms around Y/n’s waist from behind her, resting his chin on her shoulder.
“I love you.” He whispered in her ear, making her smile.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
It was about four in the morning when Mallory woke up crying again. Y/n groaned and sat up in bed, cradling her slowly-shrinking stomach. She sat on the bed for a few more seconds, trying to get up without hurting herself. She hadn’t gone to bed until two in the morning because she was afraid that Mallory wouldn’t be okay. Eddie sat with her the whole time, but was soon told by Claudia that he should’ve been home already.
“Babe,” Eddie, wrapped his arm around Y/n’s shoulder as she sat on her bed, watching her daughter sleep in her cradle. “You need to go to bed.”
“I can’t.” She shook her head. “What if she needs me and I don’t hear her?”
“You need sleep, Y/n.” He said. “You have people here that can help you if you don’t hear her.”
“But what if she stops breathing?” Y/n said, voice shaky. “If she stops breathing, then I won’t hear her if I’m asleep.”
“There is a very low chance of that happening, babe.” Eddie rubbed her back. “She’s the healthiest baby, the doctor even said so.”
“I know, but-”
“Y/n,” Claudia poked her head into the room to see her daughter being comforted by Eddie. “It’s time for Eddie to go home.”
“What?” Y/n panicked. “You mean he’s not staying?”
“I’ll be back tomorrow morning.” Eddie assured her. “Six AM sharp.”
“Do you promise?”
“I promise, sweetheart.” Eddie leaned his head down a bit and gave her a few kisses. “I would never leave you and Mal forever, babe. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Okay.” Y/n nodded. Eddie stood from the bed, walking out of the room. As he passed through the threshold of her bedroom, her turned around and pointed at Y/n.
“Go to sleep!”
“Yes, dad.” Y/n rolled her eyes playfully. Eddie shook his head, laughing. Claudia walked Eddie to the front door and bid him goodbye. As Eddie stepped outside, he turned to Claudia.
“Hey, can you keep an eye on Y/n?” Eddie whispered to Claudia. “I’m afraid she won’t try to sleep tonight.”
“What? Why?” Claudia’s eyes widened in worry. She glanced behind her and stepped outside, shutting the front door behind her. “Is something wrong?”
“She’s afraid that something will happen to Mallory.” Eddie frowned. “That she’ll stop breathing and she won’t be able to help her.”
“Oh, my poor girl.” Claudia sighed, sadness filling her eyes.
“Just, you know,” Eddie sighed, trying to find the right words. “Make sure she’s okay at night, when I’m not here. Both of them.”
“Of course, Eddie.” Claudia nodded. “Thank you for being a good man to my daughter.”
“I know, Mal.” Y/n said, slowly rising from the bed, walking towards Mallory’s crib once she got up from the bed. “Mama’s here, honey.” She reached down and scooped up her daughter. Y/n shuffled to the kitchen, cradling Mallory to her chest. Y/n laid Mallory down in her carrier that she had set on top of the dining room table, keeping her in Y/n’s line of sight as she made her a bottle. Mallory had stopped crying once Y/n gave her a pacifier for the time being, so Mallory didn’t wake the whole house.
“Okay, my baby,” Y/n cooed, shaking the freshly made bottle. “Mama’s got your food.” Y/n moved her carrier and sat her on the chair next to her to feed her baby. She gently pulled the pacifier out of Mallory’s mouth and replaced it with the nipple of the bottle. Y/n sat at the table, her daughter eagerly nursing the warm milk from the bottle.
“Y/n?” A voice whispered. Y/n looked up from her daughter and saw Dustin tiptoeing to sit across from her.
“Hey, Dusty.” She greeted. “What are you doing up?”
“I uh, heard Mal cry.” Dustin admitted, making Y/n blush.
“I’m sorry.” She apologized. “She got hungry.”
“It’s okay.” Dustin said. “I just wanted to see if everything was okay.”
“Yeah, she’s fine.”
“Are you?” He asked, making Y/n frown.
“What do you mean?”
“Mallory isn’t the only one I’ve heard crying.” Dustin admitted, making Y/n sigh.
“I’m still pretty emotional, Dustin.”
“Sure,” He nodded. “But you’ve never cried like that before.”
“Dustin, I’m fine.” Y/n squinted her eyes at him. “I’m alright, don’t worry.”
“You have a lot of people to help you, Y/n.” Dustin said, making Y/n sigh.
“I know.” She smiled at her little brother. “Thank you.” Y/n looked back at Mallory and saw that she was done with her bottle. She set the empty bottle on the table and took Mallory into her arms and began to gently pat her back.
“Can I try?” Dustin asked timidly. Y/n looked at him and smiled.
“Yeah, sure.” She nodded. Dustin stood up and walked to the chair that had Mallory’s carrier on it. He moved the carrier to the floor and took a seat. Y/n showed Dustin how to hold Mallory and told him to pat her back until she burps.
“Just let me get a rag in case she spits up.” Y/n said, walking to the kitchen and grabbing a hand towel. She draped the towel over Dustin’s shoulder and chest and sat back down in her seat. She rested her head in her hand and watched with a fond smile as her brother burped his niece. The adorable moment soon ended when there was a loud click and a flash. Y/n and Dustin looked at the source to see Claudia standing there with the camera pointed at them.
“You three were just so cute.” Claudia gushed. “I couldn’t help myself.”
“Gosh, ma.” Y/n giggled.
Over the next few weeks, Y/n and Eddie had fallen into a routine with Mallory. Eddie would come over at six in the morning and bring Y/n and Mallory over to the trailer, where they would stay until ten at night. Eddie would drop Mallory and Y/n back off at the Henderson residence and leave until the next morning. To say that this living arrangement was annoying for both Y/n and Eddie would be an understatement. Y/n hated that Eddie only got to see Mallory for nearly half a day. She expressed her feelings to Eddie, who wholeheartedly agreed with her, which made her feel better. That’s when Eddie told Y/n about the apartment that Wayne was going to help them out with. Y/n was hesitant at first, since she didn’t want Wayne to “throw away” his money for them. But Wayne insisted. But now comes the hard part… telling Claudia.
“What do you mean an apartment?” Claudia asked, sitting at the dining room table. Claudia had made dinner for everyone and told Y/n that she could invite Eddie, since he was now technically family. That’s when they decided to bring up the apartment.
“I’m not sure how else you want me to explain it, ma.” Y/n laughed uncomfortably.
“How many bedrooms are there?” She asked. Y/n looked at Eddie, gesturing for him to answer.
“Two.” He said, tapping his rings against the table lightly.
“Two?” Claudia repeated, eyes squinting.
“Yep.” Eddie nodded.
“So Mallory would be sharing a room with one of you?” She asked, looking back and forth between Y/n and Eddie, who shifted nervously.
“Actually,” He cleared his throat. “Mal would be getting her own room.”
“Then where would Y/n be?”
“Ma,” Y/n groaned. “Don’t play dumb. Eddie and I would be sharing a room.”
“Y/n,” Claudia sighed in frustration. “You two aren’t married yet. There is no reason to be sharing a bedroom.”
“Yeah, well, he kinda already knocked me up.” Y/n shrugged. “There’s no point in trying to keep things traditional.”
“Y/n!” Claudia gasped. “Don’t use that type of language.”
“Well, you’re kinda pissing me off, ma.” Y/n scoffed, tossing her fork onto her plate.
“Y/n, sweetheart,” Eddie placed a hand on her shoulder. “It’s okay.”
“No, it’s not okay, Eddie.” Y/n shook her head. “I’m so tired of it. I know that I'm practically still a child, but I have one. One that I need to properly care for and I can't do that here!"
“You don’t think I care for you enough?” Claudia asked, sadly, making Y/n sigh.
“That’s not what I meant.” She shook her head. “I just think that the situation we’re in isn’t a proper way to raise a newborn.”
“What situation?” Claudia asked, glancing around at Eddie and Dustin. “You do fine here.”
“Mallory needs Eddie. I need Eddie.” Y/n looked at Eddie and grabbed his awaiting hand. “So, we’re going to be living at the apartment together, ma.” Claudia shook her head and sighed.
“If that’s what you truly think is best for Mallory, then okay.” Claudia set her eating utensils down on her plate and got up from the table. “Excuse me.” She grabbed her plate and walked out of the room, leaving Y/n, Eddie, and Dustin sitting around the table.
“She hates me now.” Y/n gave a watery laugh as she folded her clothes and put them into a suitcase.
“She doesn’t hate you, babe.” Eddie said, holding Mallory in his arms as he fed her a bottle. “She just… doesn’t want to lose you.”
“She’s not losing me, though.” Y/n shook her head in frustration. “It’s not like I’m moving to Venus or something.”
“Well,” Eddie shrugged. “What if it was Mal?” Y/n stopped in her tracks. She tossed her half-folded shirt down on the bed and looked at Eddie.
“Excuse me?”
“If Mal was in our situation,” Eddie explained. “How would you react?” Y/n scoffed and shook her head.
“Mal won’t ever be in our situation, Eddie.” She said, picking her shirt back up. “I’ll make sure of it.” There was a pause of silence, one that made both parents uncomfortable, more so Eddie since Y/n was busy with packing up.
“Do you hate what’s going on?” He asked, quietly. “Do you… regret-”
“I don’t regret anything, Eddie.” Y/n was quick to say. “I just… wish things were easier.”
“Well, Wayne always tells me that whatever bothers you now won’t matter in ten years.” Y/n smiled at that.
“You’re very gentle, Eds.” She smiled softly at him. “I’m grateful for you and Wayne, really.”
“Just us?” Eddie asked, shifting Mallory so that he could burp her.
“I’m grateful for everyone that has helped us.” Y/n elaborated. “Now leave me alone, I’m packing!” She smirked playfully at him, making him roll his eyes with a fond smile on his face.
It took two days for Y/n to get all of her things packed up and moved into the apartment. Y/n thought that the apartment was pretty nice for something that Wayne described as a “starter” home. The kitchen, bathroom, and Eddie and Y/n’s room is pretty small, but they weren't complaining. They at least had a home that they could raise their daughter in for the time being. Y/n and Eddie had given the bigger bedroom to Mallory, since it seemed like she had more things than the two of them, especially furniture wise. The first night in the apartment was a little bit harder than it was at Y/n’s moms, as it seemed that Mallory knew she was in a different place than what she’s used to. But Y/n was grateful that Eddie was there now to wake up and care for their daughter in the night, rather than it just being Y/n caring for her at night.
“Wow,” Eddie sighed, climbing into the bed. “Our first night in our very own apartment.”
“I know.” Y/n smiled, laying her book on her lap. “It’s exciting!”
“Very.” He nodded, scooting closer to her and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. Y/n giggled and smiled, resuming her book. Eddie read each page from over her shoulder for about two minutes before he was brushing away her hair that covered her neck. He placed a few kisses to her neck, making her giggle.
“Eddie, stop,” She laughed. “I’m trying to read.”
“Read later.” He mumbled, still kissing her neck. “Let me love on you.”
“Eddie-” She sighed, tilting her head to the side to give him more access to her neck. He blindly reached over and took the book out of her hand, tossing it on the floor. Y/n leaned back against the wall and allowed Eddie to move over more. He kissed up Y/n’s neck and finally made it to her lips. Y/n sighed in bliss and cradled Eddie’s face in her hands.
“I missed having you like this.” Eddie whispered when he pulled away for a short moment.
“Me too.” Y/n moaned when Eddie’s hand massaged one of her breasts. “God, please, Eddie,”
“Please what, mama?” He groaned in her ear.
“Use your mouth on me, please.” She whined, pushing her chest closer to Eddie, eyes clouded with bliss.
“Yes, ma’am.” Eddie smiled, pulling her shirt off and latching his lips to one of her nipples, his hand playing with the other one. Y/n moaned and whimpered as Eddie sucked on her. Her fingers threaded themselves into Eddie’s hair, holding him closer to her chest.
“Oh god,” Y/n groaned. “That feels so good.” Eddie pulled away from her chest and leaned back to admire her.
“You’re so beautiful, sweetheart.” Eddie gulped, eyes roaming over her topless figure. “You wanna do it tonight?”
“Yeah.” She nodded with a smile. Eddie cheered and quickly took off his shirt, going back in to kiss Y/n, when a cry was heard from the other room. Eddie sighed and rested his forehead on Y/n’s.
“You think Wayne will babysit?” Eddie asked, making Y/n laugh. She shook her head and gently pushed him away from her. She grabbed her shirt and put it back on. Standing from the bed, she held out her hand for Eddie to take.
“C’mon, Munson,” She smirked. “Time to go be parents.”

“Steve?” Y/n asked, tears in her eyes as she called the phone at Family Video.
“Y/n,” Steve sounded panicked. “What’s wrong?”
“No one is answering their phones.” Y/n breathed heavily, hand on the wall to try and keep herself upright. “I-I think I’m having the baby.”
“What?” Steve shouted, making a few angry mothers glare his way as they looked at the movies on the shelves. He lowered his voice. “What do you mean?”
“I’ve been hurting for a few days.” Y/n cried. “I tried to stop it, Steve, but it just hurts so bad. I can’t take it.”
“Is your mom home?” Steve asked. “Or Eddie?”
“Would I be calling you if they were?” Y/n shouted.
“Right.” Steve sighed, shaking his head. “I’m on my way, Y/n. Keep trying to call Eddie.”
“Okay.” Tears were streaming down her face. She put the phone back on the receiver and sobbed. Picking the phone back up, she re-dialed Eddie’s number.
Eddie hasn’t spoken to Y/n since he fell out with Dustin. Y/n knew he needed some space, but she didn’t think that he’d ignore her. It has been two days since she last saw Eddie and two days since the cramping started to get really bad. She didn’t tell anyone in fear that she would instantly be put into the hospital. However, she was really regretting not telling anyone how bad they actually were. Because now she was home alone. Dustin was with his friends, her mother was at work, and Eddie was M.I.A.
“Hello?” Y/n sighed in relief upon hearing the voice of Uncle Wayne.
“Uncle Wayne,” Y/n said. “Is Eddie there?”
“Y/n,” Wayne began. “Is everything okay?”
“Is Eddie there, Wayne?” Y/n is becoming impatient.
“He just went out to the store.” Wayne said. “He should be back soon. Why?”
“I’m about to go to the hospital.” Y/n explained. “The baby’s coming.”
“Right now?” Wayne shouted into the phone. “O-okay. Okay, okay, I’ll go find Eddie. We’ll meet you there!”
“Thank you, Wayne.” Y/n said, putting the phone back onto the receiver. She hobbled over to the dining table and sat down in the closest seat. Her hands were cradling her belly as she groaned in pain.
“Y/n!” Steve pounded on the front door of her house after speeding into her driveway. He’s surprised that a cop didn’t pull him over, he felt like he was driving like Max. “Y/n!” He knocked again. He peeked through the windows and saw Y/n sitting at the table, eyes scrunched up in pain. He quickly realized that she wouldn't be able to stand to open the door, so he began to look for the spare key. Upon finding the key, which was hidden in a potted plant, he ran to Y/n’s side.
“Steve,” Y/n gasped, reaching out for him. “You gotta get me to a hospital, now!”
“Okay,” He nodded, placing his hands on her waist to help her stand. “But we have to walk to the car first, okay?”
“Okay.” Y/n nodded, wiping away the tears on her cheeks. Her legs were shaking, as was the rest of her. She was nervous, very nervous. She had expected this to go smoothly. She had expected Eddie to be the one to drive her to the hospital. Everything was going wrong, all wrong.
“Wait, Steve,” Y/n grabbed onto his upper arm after she was sat in the passenger seat. “Go grab my bag. It’s in my closet.”
“Okay.” He nodded, quickly running back inside through the front door, which Steve forgot to close, to grab the bag. Y/n cried and leaned her head against the headrest.
“Oh god, oh god,” She cried. “This can’t be happening right now.”
“Eddie!” Wayne called out, running up to Eddie, who was standing in front of the chips at the gas station.
“Wayne,” Eddie’s eyes widened. “What’s going on?”
“Y/n’s in labor.” He said, grabbing onto Eddie’s elbow and pulling him towards the front of the store.
“What?” Eddie’s heart dropped into his stomach. “What do you mean?”
“She called the house and said she’s having the baby.” Wayne explained as they both walked to the car. Eddie got into the passenger seat and ran his hands over his face.
“W-where, where is she?” He asked Wayne as he drove down the road. “Did I miss it? Did she already have the baby?”
“I don’t know.” Wayne shrugged. “But she called about twenty minutes ago asking for you. We’re meeting her at the hospital.”
“Oh my god.” Eddie leaned forward, resting his head on his knees. He sat up and leaned his head back, taking deep breaths. “I’m about to be a father.”
“Get ready, boy.” Wayne smiled slightly, hitting him on the arm. “Your life’s about to change.”
“Was she mad?” Eddie asked, worried. “I-I haven’t talked to her in a couple days.”
“I know that, you idiot.” Wayne grunted. “But she seemed more worried than anything.”
“Worried?” Eddie frantically asked. “Worried why?”
“Eddie, she’s having a baby.” Wayne scoffed. “Wouldn’t you be worried too?”
“I am worried.”
“Well, there you have it.”
Steve kept throwing worried glances towards Y/n, who was focused on her breathing and trying not to have the baby in Steve’s car. Although Steve isn’t the father, he felt like he was going to vomit. He didn’t know how babies worked, he didn’t know how labor worked, he didn’t know how any of this stuff worked. At one point, Y/n had yelled at him because he kept swerving the car to avoid all of the potholes, which just pissed her off.
“Are we almost there, Steve?” Y/n whimpered. “I don’t think I can take much more.”
“Yeah,” He nodded. “We’re about five minutes away. Just hold on, Y/n.”
“I’m sorry for this, Steve.” She sniffled. “I didn’t know who else to call.”
“Don’t be sorry, Y/n.” He shook his head. “You’re one of my best friends, I’d do anything for you.”
“You mean it?” She asked, bottom lip quivering.
“Of course.” He answered genuinely.
“Well,” She reached over to grab his free hand. “If Eddie doesn’t make it in time, can you hold my hand?”
“Yeah,” He instantly said. “You can hold my hand if you want to.”
“Thank you, Steve.”
Eddie didn’t wait for Wayne to put the car in park once in the hospital’s parking lot. He ran into the hospital and frantically searched for someone he could talk to. His eyes locked onto the reception desk and he ran over, nearly knocking over a few nurses, who glared after him.
“My girlfriend, she’s having a baby.” Eddie told the receptionist, who just blinked at him.
“Congratulations.” She said, sarcastically.
“Where is she?” He asked. The woman sighed and grabbed the patient information book.
“What’s her name?” She asked, flipping the book open.
“Y/n L/n.” Eddie said. Wayne soon joined his side and waited for the lady to tell them the information. The receptionist lady shook her head.
“We don’t have anyone here by that name.” Her voice was monotone. “Sorry.”
“What do you mean?” Wayne asked. “She came here.”
“Eddie?” A voice called out, making Eddie and Wayne turn around to see Y/n being supported by Steve.
“Y/n!” Eddie ran towards her and pulled her into a hug. “Oh my god, I was so worried.”
“Eddie, you beat me here?” She asked in surprise as she pulled away from the hug.
“Wayne drives like a psycho.” He laughed, making her smile slightly. The happy moment was soon over as Y/n hunched over in pain again.
“Hey!” Eddie shouted. “My girl’s having a baby. Someone help.” It was as if those were the magic words, as a ton of nurses flocked towards Y/n. They got her in a wheelchair and pushed her towards the maternity ward, Eddie, Wayne, and Steve following her. Just as she was through the double doors, one of the nurses stopped the three men.
“Family only.” The nurse said.
“He’s the father.” Steve said, shoving Eddie forward.
“Y-yeah,” Eddie nodded. “That’s my wife in there.”
“Okay,” The nurse nodded. “Follow me.” Eddie glanced back at his uncle and Steve as the doors closed. Wayne gave Eddie thumbs up as Steve waved through the window on the door.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Eddie smiled the second he laid his eyes on Y/n, who lay in the hospital bed, numerous wires and tubes attached to her body. Eddie was told to wait outside of the room for a few moments whilst the nurses helped Y/n prepare for birth. The same nurse, who had let Eddie go with Y/n, was the one that told Eddie he can finally go into the room.
“Hi.” She smiled weakly. “I don’t hurt anymore, Eds.”
“No?” He pulled a chair to the side of the bed and grabbed her hand. “How come?”
“They gave me a shot in my back.” She explained. “It makes the pain go away.”
“It’s called Epidural.” A nurse explained as she wrote down Y/n’s vitals.
“E-epidural?” Eddie asked, looking at the nurse. “Is that going to hurt her? Or the baby?”
“Not one bit.” The nurse flashed a comforting smile. “It actually makes both mom and baby very comfortable.”
“Really?” He sighed in relief. “Thank god.” Both the nurse and Y/n laughed.
“You two are going to be amazing parents.” The nurse complimented.
“Thank you.” Eddie and Y/n said at the same time, making them look at each other and giggle. The nurse gave the pair one last smile before exiting the room.
“Are you scared?” Y/n asked, playing with a strand of Eddie’s hair.
“Terrified.” He breathed out. “What if the baby like… rejects me or some shit?”
“It’s not going to reject you, Eddie.” Y/n rolled her eyes. “You’re their daddy.”
“Thought I was your daddy.” Eddie smirked. Y/n tisked and waved him off.
“Alright,” She groaned. “That’s enough. Quit being ridiculous, you’re about to become a father.”
“You love me.” He leaned up and pressed a kiss on Y/n’s forehead.
“I do.” She nodded, looking into his eyes. “You know, I hope they have your eyes, Eds.”
“Yeah?” He smiled. “Well, I hope they have their mama’s good looks.”
“Oh my gosh.” She laughed, shaking her head. “You’re insane, Eds.”
“Steve!” Dustin shouted upon seeing his best friend sitting in the hospital waiting room. Steve looked up at the sound of Dustin’s voice and stood up. “Where’s Y/n?”
“She’s up in the room with Eddie.” He answered. They were there for about four hours. Dustin and Claudia were unable to be contacted, as Dustin was riding around town on his bike and Claudia was at work, where there was very limited phone usage.
“Eddie’s here?” Dustin asked, prompting Steve to nod in confusion.
“Why wouldn’t he be?” Steve asked, glancing between Dustin and Claudia.
“Dusty and Eddie had a fight when we found out Eddie was the real father.” Claudia explained, adjusting her purse on her shoulder. “He hasn’t spoken to Y/n in a couple days.”
“What?” Steve’s eyebrows scrunched in confusion. “I thought they’re on good terms now?”
“They are.” Claudia nodded, then sent a stern look towards Dustin. “But Dustin, here, said some very mean things to Eddie and scared him away.”
“Why would you do that?” Steve asked. “You practically worship the guy.”
“Worshipped, past tense.” Dustin grit. “He lied to me.”
“Well, you can’t be mad forever.” Steve placed his hands on his hips and shook his head at Dustin. “He’s the father to your niece or nephew.”
“Yeah.” Dustin sighed, shifting his eyes towards the ground. “I know.”
“Uhh…” Wayne trailed, shuffling over to Dustin and Claudia. “I’m Wayne. Wayne Munson, Eddie’s uncle.”
“Nice to finally meet you.” Wayne smiled. “Both of you.”
“Ditto.” Claudia smiled. “Oh, but isn’t this exciting? We’re about to be grandparents!”
“I don’t know if I’m old enough to be a grandfather.” Wayne laughed. “But those two are so happy together.”
“Oh, I know.” Claudia gushed. “Y/n has never been happier than she has been with Eddie. It’s sweet.”
“Very.”
“Okay, mom,” A younger nurse clapped her hands as she walked towards the end of Y/n’s bed and lifted her blanket. “We’re going to check your dilation.”
“Okay.” Y/n nodded, her hand grabbing onto Eddie’s. The nurse placed Y/n’s feet onto the stirrups and checked her cervix.
“Have you felt a pushing sensation yet?” The nurse asked.
“Yeah.” Y/n said. Eddie squeezed her hand and gave her a comforting smile.
“Alright, you’re almost ten centimeters dilated and I can see your baby’s head.” The nurse said, covering Y/n’s legs back up. “I’ll go get the doctor and you’ll soon have your baby.” The nurse smiled and soon left the room. Eddie’s eyes went wide and he started to sweat in nervousness.
“Oh my god. They can see the head.” He let go of Y/n’s hand and ran his hands through his hair. “You’re about to have a baby.”
“I know.” Y/n gave a nervous smile. “I’m so scared.” Tears came to her eyes and her hands shook.
“Me too, sweetheart,” Eddie grabbed her hands again. “Me too.”
“I can’t wait to meet them.” Y/n smiled through her tears.
“Me either.” Eddie smiled. “Oh, do you have an extra hair tie?”
“Yeah, in my bag.” She pointed to the corner of the room where her hospital bag sat. Eddie turned and grabbed her bag, searching through the pockets. “Why?”
“You’re having a baby.” He stated, fishing out the hair tie and pulling his hair back. “It’s about to get messy here.”
“Eddie!” Y/n laughed, shaking her head. “You’re ridiculous.”
“You love me!” He quipped with a smirk.
“Yeah, whatever.”
“Miss L/n?” The doctor asked, walking into the room about two minutes later. “You ready to have a baby?”
“What would happen if I said no?” Y/n laughed nervously.
“Well,” The doctor smiled. “You’d still have a baby.”
“Then I guess I’m ready.” She grabbed Eddie’s hand and squeezed tightly as the doctor placed her feet back onto the stirrups.
“Alrighty.” The doctor sat down on a stool at the foot of the bed and began to give instructions. “I’m going to count to three and on three, I want you to push as hard as you can.”
“Oh my god.” Y/n screwed her eyes shut and Eddie shuffled his feet, becoming increasingly nervous.
“One,” The doctor began. “Two,”
“You got this, sweetheart.” Eddie whispered to Y/n, rubbing her shoulder gently.
“Three!”
“Eddie,” One of the nurses said after about ten minutes of pushing. “Look down, you can see your baby’s head.”
“Yeah?” Eddie moved a bit towards the end of the bed and looked between Y/n’s legs. He felt a little queasy at all of the blood, but his gaze was focused on his baby’s head. “Oh my god, they have a lot of hair.”
“Yes, a lot of it!” The same nurse agreed. “They got that from you, dad.”
“God, babe, they have so much hair.” Eddie told Y/n, who was focused on pushing still. Her face was beat red, sweat covered her entire body.
“Ugh!” Y/n groaned, taking in deep breaths. “I don’t know how much longer I can do this.”
“You got it, mom.” The nurse on her other side said. “Just keep doing what you’re doing.”
“I can’t.” Y/n cried. “I’m so tired!”
“A few more pushes until your baby’s out.” She comforted. “Just do a few more and then you’ll be done.”
“I can’t, I can’t!” Eddie buried his face in Y/n’s neck and rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb, whispering encouraging words to her.
“Two more big pushes, Y/n.” The doctor said from between her legs. “Ready, one, two-”
Y/n’s discomfort faded away the second she heard her baby’s cries. Loud, piercing screams flooded the hospital room. Both Eddie and Y/n burst into tears as well. Eddie’s eyes never left his baby as they were placed onto Y/n’s chest.
“Eddie,” The doctor asked, handing Eddie a scissor-like object. “Would you like to cut the cord?”
“Y-yeah.” He wiped his tears away and took the scissors from the doctor.
“It’s not going to hurt the baby, is it?” He panicked. The doctor chuckled and shook his head.
“The baby won’t feel a thing.” He assured.
“How do I do it?” Eddie asked.
“Just cut right here.” The doctor pointed to an area on the umbilical cord. Eddie nodded and gently snipped the fleshy cord.
“Congratulations, mom and dad.” One of the nurses clapped her hands. “You have a baby now!” Eddie looked at Y/n, tears in their eyes and big smiles on their faces.
Wayne was getting anxious and it was making everyone else anxious. His leg was bouncing, his head was in his hands, elbows resting on his knees. Nancy and Robin had shown up a few minutes ago after Steve called saying that the baby was on its way. Nancy was the one that promised Y/n and Eddie that she’d babysit whenever they needed. She has two younger siblings and is the most equipped to care for a baby.
“Can you stop?” Robin asked Wayne, making all eyes turn to her. “It freaks me out when other people freak out. And if, if you’re freaking out, then I freak out, then Y/n won’t let me hold her baby.”
“S-sorry.” Wayne scrunched his eyebrows in confusion.
“I accept your apology.” Robin smiled. Claudia gave Robin a strange look, but kept to herself. Everyone in the group jumped when someone came barreling out of the maternity ward doors. It was Eddie. His eyes were red from crying, his pulled back hair had a million flyaways, and he looked a bit tired.
“Eddie!” Wayne stood up, causing everyone to follow.
“It’s a girl.” Eddie began to cry again. “And she’s so beautiful!”
“A girl!” All the girls cheered. Nancy and Robin screamed and jumped up and down. Steve and Dustin hugged each other in celebration, happy to both be uncles. Claudia and Wayne gave each other a small hug as well, telling each other congratulations.
“Who does she look like more?” Robin asked eagerly. Everyone nodded in agreement.
“She- uh, she has a lot of hair. Curly, like mine.” Eddie began to describe, wiping away some of his tears. “But she’s just… so perfect. She looks more like Y/n than anything, but Y/n disagrees.”
“What’s her name?” Claudia asked.
“Oh, right.” Eddie laughed. “I came out here to tell you that too.”
“It’s Stevie.” Steve stated with a smirk. “I knew it.”
“It’s not Stevie.” Eddie shook his head, laughing. “Actually, Y/n and I compromised on a name. I chose her first name, she chose the middle name.”
“Ugh, enough with the suspense.” Robin groaned, punching Eddie in the arm. “Tell use the damn name!”
“Her name is-”
“Y/n!” Claudia immediately went to Y/n’s side. “Are you okay, sweetie?”
“I’m alright, ma.” Y/n smiled as her mother grabbed her hand. “Tired, but I’m alright.”
“I’m sorry that I wasn’t here for the birth.” Claudia apologized.
“It’s okay.” Y/n shook her head. “Everything went smoothly.”
“Where’s the baby?” Robin asked as she and everyone else filed into the room.
“The nurse just went to check her vitals.” Eddie said. “She’ll be back soon.”
“Wow, so like,” Robin sighed, eyes wide. “You’re a mom now.”
“Yeah.” Y/n giggled. “Crazy, right?”
“Totally crazy.”
“How long did it take to have her?” Nancy asked, crossing her arms.
“Oh, uhmm…” Y/n shrugged her shoulders. “I pushed for about twenty minutes, I think.”
“Wow, that was quick.” Claudia gasped. “I pushed for an hour with you and two for Dusty.”
“Mom.” Dustin blushed.
“Oh, look!” A nurse cheered upon walking back into the room, pushing a cart with the baby inside. “Everyone’s here to see you!” The nurse picked up the baby and placed her into Y/n’s arms, where everyone immediately flocked around. They cooed at the small baby, who was wrapped in a pink blanket.
“Everyone,” Eddie began, sitting by Y/n’s side. “Meet Mallory Rose Munson.”

NOT PROOF READ
“There they are, Alan.” Sam said as he, Edgar, and Alan peaked over the shelves of comic books towards Y/n L/n. “Now’s your chance.”
“What if they say no?” Alan asked, quickly glancing at his brother and friend. “I-I’ll feel terrible!”
“Just do it, chicken.” Edgar grunted.
“I’m not a chicken!” Alan defended.
“Then ask them out.” Edgar shoved Alan out into the aisle, making him stumble.
“Bit-” Alan began, but quickly stopped when he saw Y/n walking towards him. Sam and Edgar also saw this and scrambled to the other end of the aisle to watch.
“You okay?” Y/n asked. Alan stood straight up and rolled his shoulders back a bit.
“Yeah.” His voice cracked. He cleared his throat and deepened his voice. “I mean, yeah. Yeah, I’m all good.”
“Okay.” Y/n nodded. An awkward silence fell over the pair and Y/n shifted on their feet. Alan shifted his gaze towards his brother and Sam, who pointed at Y/n, mouthing ‘just do it already’ and ‘ask them out now’. Y/n saw that Alan’s gaze was beyond them, so they turned around to see what he was looking at. Sam and Edgar quickly saw this and they pretended to be reading a comic.
“I’m going to uh,” Y/n pointed towards the door. “Go now. See ya, Alan.” As they walked away, Edgar and Sam gestured for Alan to follow Y/n.
“Wait, Y/n!” Alan called out, making them turn around.
“Yeah?”
“I’ve been meaning to ask you something.” He said, hands becoming sweaty. Sam and Edgar glanced at each other and slowly, but not subtly, moved closer to the pair.
“Okay.” Y/n smiled, making Alan breathless.
“Do you-” Edgar and Sam were now laser focused on Alan. “Do you have any comic recommendations?” Edgar and Sam sighed, rolling their eyes.
“Don’t your parents own this shop?” Y/n asked, suspiciously. “I mean, you had to have read nearly everything in here already.”
“I-I mean yeah, but” Alan stuttered. “I just want to know what you’d recommend.”
“Oh,” Y/n shrugged. “Umm, I mean, I really like the X-Men series.”
“Really?” Alan smiled. “That’s awesome! Who’s your favorite character?”
“Professor X.” They smiled. “I know he’s like, the main character pretty much, but he’s still cool.”
“Yeah, totally.” Alan nodded. He glanced over his shoulder quickly and saw his brother glaring at him. “Actually, that’s not what I wanted to ask you.”
“Okay?” Y/n trailed off in confusion.
“Look,” Alan began. “I understand if you say no, but…” Y/n raised their eyebrows slightly, a small, unsure smile on their face.
“But, what?”
“Do you want to go out with me?” Alan choked out. Y/n laughed and the tips of Alan’s ears turned bright red. His face felt hot with embarrassment as his crush laughed at him.
“I’d love to!” Y/n said, a big smile on their face.
“What?” Alan asked in surprise.
“It took you that long to ask me?” Y/n laughed. “I’ve been waiting for you to ask me out for like… forever.”
“Really?” Alan asked. “W-what made you know I liked you?”
“You stare at me every time you see me.” Y/n said. “You always drop what you’re doing to come and talk to me…it’s pretty obvious if you ask me.”
“Wow.” Alan blushed harder. “So, uhh, what-”
“Meet me here tomorrow at 8.” Y/n said. “You can take me out for some ice cream.”
“Okay.” Alan nodded, a dopey smile on his face.
“But for now, I gotta go.” Y/n smiled, pointing with their thumbs towards the door. “My brothers are waiting for me.”
“Yeah.” He nodded once more, watching Y/n walk out of the shop towards her brothers, all four of them smirking in Alan’s direction.
“Bye, Alan!” Y/n waved from the back of a blond man’s motorbike. “See you tomorrow!” Alan waved back in disbelief. And with the roar of four engines, Y/n was gone.
A/n: My requests are still open, just send a DM my way and I'll write up your request! :)
There were only three people in your life that knew about your bisexuality.
The first person you told was your best friend Robin, since you knew 100% that she’d be cool with it.
She has never been more excited to be able to talk to you about things like this
But telling Robin meant telling Steve, since Robin couldn’t keep a secret for the life of her
But just like Robin, you knew Steve would be okay with it.
The next person that found out was your other friend Nancy Wheeler, which you were nervous about
She was an understanding girl, but you weren’t sure how understanding she’d be
Thankfully, she was accepting of it…
After you explained to her what it meant.
Poor thing had no clue what bisexual meant, so after a very long and confusing conversation, she finally understood.
She even gave you a hug.
But now it was time to tell Eddie Munson, one of the nicest guys you know.
But you were still unsure about telling him.
He’s cool, very cool, but you didn’t know how accepting he would be.
You finally gained the courage after talking to Steve and Robin, who told you to just go for it.
“You live once, Y/n.” Steve shrugged, leaning his palms on the counter at Family Video.
“Yeah, and you said before that Munson’s like… nice, right?” Robin asked, pushing Steve out of her way so she can stand in front of you as well.
“Yeah, but-” You began, only to be cut off by Steve.
“Tell him, Y/n,” He sighed. “Or forever wish you had.”
So that’s how you ended up in this situation.
You and Eddie sitting in the back of his van, a heavy metal mixtape playing in the background as you stared at the posters Eddie had pinned to the roof of his van.
“Can I tell you something, Eds?” You asked, quietly. You sat up and leaned against the door of the van.
“Yeah.” He nodded, blowing out a puff of smoke.
“You know, uhm…” You trailed off. “You, you know how Robin likes… girls, right?”
“Yeah.” He leaned up onto his elbows to look at you. “Why?”
“What do you think of that?” You asked, nervously playing with the end of your shirt.
“What do you mean?” He asked, tilting his head to the side.
“Like,” You sighed, closing your eyes for a few seconds in thought. “Were you… mad?”
“No.” He scoffed. “Why would I be mad?”
“Well, it’s just-” You paused. “Some people don’t agree with that kind of thing.”
“Sure,” He nodded. “But I’m not an asshole. It’s her life… I kinda don’t have a say in what she can and can’t do.”
“Yeah.” You scratched the back of your neck, feeling slightly better about the situation, but your nerves were through the roof. Eddie means too much to you and you didn’t want to make him uncomfortable in any way… or for him to just completely hate you.
“Plus,” Eddie smirked, taking another puff from the joint. “I completely understand the love for boobies.”
“God, Eds, you’re a pig.” You scoffed, leaning your head back.
“So,” He trailed. “Why are we talking about Robin liking boobies?” You’re not sure what came over you, but you felt a surge of courage and just told him what you’ve been needing to say for a long time.
“I’m bisexual, Eddie.” There was a pause of silence. You gulped and kept your eyes shut, not having the heart to look at him. “Oh, god, please say something.”
“How long have you known?” He asked.
“Since I was (age).” You said. “I had a crush on my classmate, (name), and… I just knew.” Eddie smiled and crawled over to you. He leaned his head on your shoulder and placed his hand on your knee.
“Well,” He hummed. “If it makes you feel better, I still think you’re hot.”
A/N: Hellooooo everyone! Thank you so much for all the love you gave on part one. I hope this one is just as good (or maybe better) than part one.

It had been about a month since Y/n and Eddie made up. Since then, Y/n had been staying with Eddie in his uncle’s trailer. She usually was picked up by Eddie when no one was home so that she could avoid being interrogated by her mother and brother. She always remembered to leave a note on the fridge that said she was staying with a friend, usually Steve or Robin, whichever one she knew wouldn’t be with Dustin at that moment in time. But this time, both her mother and brother were home. She called Eddie an hour before he was supposed to come pick her up and told him to park at the end of the street and that she’d meet him there. He didn’t exactly like her having to walk so far in her condition as he would put it, but it was the only way for them not to be found out too soon.
“I’m going to Steve’s.” Y/n called out, opening the front door. “I’ll call when I get there.”
“It’s eight o’clock, Y/n.” Claudia said from the couch, where she had been reading the newspaper. “What are you going there for?”
“I was going to sleep over… like I usually do.” She said, her eyes flicking over to Dustin, who had just come into the living room. “I-is that okay?” She sure hoped it was okay, since Eddie was waiting in his van that was parked at the end of the street.
“I don’t think I want you being out of the house this late in your pregnancy.” Claudia shook her head. “You’re eight and a half months, you could go into labor any minute.”
“She can’t always be with us, mom.” Dustin chimed. “She’ll call us if anything happens. Right, Y/n?”
“Right.” She quickly nodded, thankful for her little brother. “I’ll call if anything happens, I promise.” Claudia glanced back and forth between her children, but reluctantly nodded.
“Call when you get there.” Claudia sighed, causing Y/n to cheer.
Y/n held her overnight bag in her hand as she walked towards the end of the street. The sun was just barely set, making everything around her look blue. Y/n was a little chilly as the breeze drifted by. She smiled when she saw Eddie leaning against the back of his van smoking a cigarette.
“Eddie!” She called, waving her hand. He quickly tossed his cigarette on the ground and stomped it out with his shoe and held out his arms for her. She sped up as much as she could to fall into his embrace.
“Hey, mama.” He drawled with a smirk, placing a kiss on the top of her head. “Thought you weren’t going to show.”
“Sorry,” She pulled away slightly to look at him. “My mom was just worried about letting me leave.”
“I can understand why.” He laughed, placing his hand on her stomach, rubbing circles with his thumb. “Dio’s just about done cooking.” Y/n rolled her eyes at his choice of name. She stepped out of his embrace and handed him her bag, walking towards the passenger side door, to which Eddie followed her.
“We are not naming it Dio.” She said as Eddie opened the door for her.
“Why not?” He asked handing her bag back to her when she was settled in the seat.
“Because.” She shrugged. “Besides, what if it’s a girl?” Eddie rolled his eyes and shut her door, quickly jogging around the front to get into the driver’s seat.
“If it’s a girl, then we’ll name her Alice.” He smirked when Y/n rolled her eyes again.
“No.”
Eddie and Y/n soon pulled up to Wayne’s trailer. His car was still there, meaning he hadn’t yet left for work. Eddie grabbed the backpack from Y/n’s hands and slung it over his shoulder. He placed his hand on her lower back as she climbed the steps and held open the front door for her. She looked around his dimly-lit trailer and waved when she made eye contact with Wayne.
“Hey, Uncle Wayne.” She smiled, making her way over to the kitchen, where Wayne stood making himself a sandwich..
“Y/n!” He patted the girl on her shoulder. “Didn’t expect to see you here.” He joked.
“Oh, yeah,” She laughed. “Not like I’m here all the time.”
“Well,” He shrugged. “I don’t mind. I’m just glad you and Eds figured things out.” Yes, Wayne knew. How could he not know? He was like a father to Eddie. In fact, Wayne was the one that called Eddie out and told him that he needs to take responsibility.
“Me too.” She nodded.
“Welp,” Wayne sighed. “I’m heading to work.”
“Have fun.” Eddie said, sarcastically as he passed Wayne on the way to his room. Y/n waved at Wayne a final time before following Eddie into his room. Y/n groaned upon seeing Eddie’s bed. She slowly climbed onto the bed and laid down on her back.
“You okay?” Eddie asked as he sat down next to her.
“My back hurts.” She scoffed. “My stomach weighs about ten pounds now. My body’s not used to it.”
“I’m sorry.” He sighed, his eyes filling with sadness.
“Don’t be.” She closed her eyes and placed her hands on her belly. “It’ll all be worth it when Rose comes.”
“Rose, huh?” He asked laying down, his nose brushing up against her cheek. “Like… Guns ‘N Roses?”
“Oh my god,” She groaned. “Do you have to make everything about bands?”
“Yes,” He smirked. “What else would I do with my time?”
“Leave me alone, Eddie.” She smiled to herself. “Go to bed.” There was a pause of silence as Y/n steadily breathed, her hands resting protectively over her belly.
Eddie’s eyes roamed all over her face, admiring her. His eyes then drifted to her belly and he smiled a bittersweet smile. He was grateful that he came to his senses… and he was grateful that Wayne was there to snap him back to reality about the whole situation. He might still think that he’s going to be a bad dad, but Y/n and Wayne would be there for him. They’ll be there when things get rough.
“You’re going to be a real great mom, Y/n.” Eddie whispered to the sleeping woman. “And I can’t wait to meet you, Rosie.” He whispered to the baby within Y/n’s belly.
“Well, good morning, sleeping beauty.” Eddie smiled upon seeing Y/n waddle into the kitchen. “Nice to see you, this fine morning.”
“Ugh.” She groaned at him, heading for the fridge. “Do you have orange juice?”
“Yeah, top shelf.” He nodded towards the fridge. “How ya feeling?” Y/n held up a finger as she gulped down the orange juice that she had just poured into the cup.
“How do I look like I’m feeling?” She gave a sarcastic smile. Eddie would never say it to her, because he’s made that mistake once before, but she did look terrible. She was up all night, tossing and turning, complaining that her lower back hurt.
“Still hurting?” He asked with a frown. She nodded and set the empty up on the counter.
“It’s more than just my back.” She sighed. “My head is pounding too.”
“Want me to take you back home?” He asked, walking over to her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and let her lean against him. “I mean, do you… you don’t think something’s wrong with the baby?”
“Nothing’s wrong with the baby, Eds.” She shook her head, looking up at him. “But I am nearing my due date, it’s probably just that.”
“We should tell everyone.” Eddie said after a moment of silence. “We’ve waited a month already. We can’t wait until the baby’s born. I mean, what happens if the baby comes and we haven’t told anyone? Just put the last name as Munson and say surprise, everybody. The freak is the baby daddy. No way!” He was panicking. He usually got this way when he voiced any concerns of his.
“Eddie,” Y/n interrupted, placing her hands on his shoulders as she moved to stand in front of him. “We’ll tell them. I just… I don’t know how.”
“I don’t know either.” He agreed, shaking his head. “But I don’t want to wait.”
“I mean,” She sighed in thought, eyebrows scrunched. “We could always just sit my mom and Dustin down and just… tell them.”
“Is that the only option we have?” Y/n shrugged.
“It’s the easiest way I can think of.”
“Then that’s how we’ll do it.”
Eddie had taken Y/n back home when her pager beeped around 7pm. She knew it was her mother wanting her to come back home, so she told Eddie to take her home. The entire drive to her house was tense. She could tell that Eddie was nervous because he kept wiping his hand on his jeans when his grip on the steering wheel became too sweaty. Not to say that Y/n wasn’t nervous either. Her leg bounced the entire way and she felt like she was going to puke from her nerves. Since tonight was the night she’d reveal the true identity of her baby’s father, she told Eddie to pull into the driveway instead of dropping her at the end of the street like they had originally planned. Eddie turned off the van, but made no move to leave it. He sat in his seat, head against the headrest, staring straight ahead. Y/n watched him with sympathetic eyes. Her frown deepened when she watched Eddie rest his forehead on the steering wheel. The van shook slightly due to him bouncing his leg. Y/n placed her hand on his back and made gentle circles as he took in slow deep breaths.
“You can always back out, Eddie.” She sighed. “I don’t want to make you afraid.”
“I’m not backing out.” He said, sternly. “I just,” He shook his head, lips pulled into a thin line. “This is going to break Henderson’s heart.”
“He’ll understand.” She assured him, placing her hand on his bicep. “It might take him a while to come around, but honestly, Eddie, Dustin worships you.”
“He worships me?” Eddie smiled, looking at Y/n.
“He talks about how cool you are all the time.” She giggled. “I swear, you’re all he talks about… Steve’s jealous about it too.”
“No way!” Eddie’s jaw dropped. “Steve, the king of Hawkins, is jealous of me?”
“Well,” She shrugged. “He was. But then umm… I told him about what happened between us.”
“Right.” He nodded. “I will forever be apologizing for how I acted, Y/n.”
“I know.” She smirked. “Because I’ll never let you forget.”
“Whatever.” He scoffed, rolling his eyes.
“You want to go in?” She asked after a short pause of silence.
“Yeah,” He nodded. “Yeah, let’s get this over with.” He opened his door and got out, meeting Y/n on her side. She grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug, his face buried into her neck. Hugging anyone this late in pregnancy was always uncomfortable due to her stomach getting in the way.
“It’s going to be okay, Eds.” She whispered, placing a kiss on the side of his head. “C’mon.” She pulled away from the hug and pulled him behind her by his hand. She opened the front door and poked her head in. Her mother was sitting on the couch, watching the news, but her attention quickly went onto her daughter, who was walking into the house with a strange boy with long hair.
“Y/n,” Her mother stood, eyeing the new boy in the room. “Who’s your friend?”
“Yeah.” Claudia nodded. “I’ll go get him.” Claudia turned and briskly walked towards Dustin’s bedroom. Y/n gestured towards the couch and sat down next to Eddie, who began to bounce his leg again.
“Eddie?” Dustin said in confusion, glancing back and forth from his sister and dungeon master. “What are you doing here?”
“This is Eddie?” Claudia asked Dustin, recognizing the name that Dustin says all the time.
“Yeah,” Dustin nodded. “But I didn’t think you’d be here today.”
“Can you two sit down?” Y/n interrupted. “We need to talk to you about something.”
“I don’t like when you say that now, Y/n.” Claudia quickly sat down, Dustin following in suit.
“Well, it’s not like I’m going to tell you I’m pregnant again.” Y/n giggled, but cleared her throat when no one else laughed.
“What’s Eddie doing here?” Dustin asked again, making the two soon-to-be parents look at each other.
“Uhh…” Y/n trailed off, not knowing what to say. “That’s umm… that’s what we want to talk about.”
“Henderson,” Eddie began. “I just want to say that you’re an awesome kid and… I’m sorry if this hurts you in any way.”
“Sweetie,” Claudia’s voice trembled a little bit. “You’re starting to scare me.” Y/n gulped, tears beginning to form in her eyes.
“Uhm…” She wiped the tears from her eyes with her sleeve. “Eddie is… Eddie-”
“I’m the father of Y/n’s baby.” Eddie finished for her. The room became suffocating. The piercing silence coming from Y/n’s mother and brother made her throat close up with nerves.
“Ma, Dustin,” Y/n tested the waters, her eyes flicking from her mother and brother. “P-please. Say something.”
“You said that Steve was the father.” Her mother’s voice was stern and angry.
“I know.” Y/n looked down at the floor. “I didn’t know what else to say.”
“Didn’t know what to say?” Claudia nearly shouted. “You should’ve told the truth!”
“She didn't want our baby to be fatherless.” Eddie added, making Claudia shake her head in confusion.
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“When Y/n told me she’s pregnant,” Eddie gulped. “I, uh, I reacted badly. I… yelled at her and… I said that I didn’t want the baby. Or anything to do with the baby.”
“Then why are you here?” Claudia was angry. Anyone could see that. Y/n began to cry even more, keeping silent to not disturb the situation. “Why is he here, Y/n?”
“He apologized.” Y/n sniffled. “And I-” She looked at Eddie. “I love him, ma.”
“Love him?” Dustin shouted, standing suddenly, which made Eddie flinch. “How could you love him? You don’t know him!”
“Henderson-”
“Don’t say a word, Eddie.” Dustin pointed at him, anger in his eyes. “You got my sister pregnant and then ditched her.”
“Let him explain, Dus-”
“No, Y/n.” Dustin interrupted, glaring daggers at Eddie. “You left my sister to do this on her own! Now all of the sudden you want to help?” Eddie rose to his feet and slowly approached Dustin, who was breathing heavily, face red in anger.
“Henderson, I know what I did was wrong,” Eddie held out his hands as if he was walking towards a wild animal. “But I feel terrible about what I did and I want to be around. And… I love Y/n too.” Dustin walked towards Eddie and poked him in the chest.
“You only want to be a father once someone else takes your place, huh?” Y/n had never seen Dustin this angry. Tears were in his eyes and his face was glowing red.
“Dusty, please.” Y/n cooed softly, coming to stand by Eddie’s side. “Just hear him out.”
“Hear him out?” Dustin scoffed. “Y/n, are you crazy? He didn’t want anything to do with you!”
“He was scared, Dustin.” Y/n exclaimed.
“Like I give a shit?” Dustin shouted, causing Claudia to gasp.
“Dusty!” Claudia gasped. “There’s no need to cuss.”
“I want you out of my house.” Dustin said, staring directly into Eddie’s eyes. “And don’t ever speak to me again.”
“Henderson-” Eddie was crestfallen. “Please.”
“I said to get out, freak!” Dustin shouted, the tears falling freely from his eyes.
“Dustin!” Claudia and Y/n shouted in shock. Eddie stared at Dustin in shock, not believing what Dustin just called him.
“I-uh,” Eddie cleared his throat, tears in his eyes as he looked at Y/n. “I’m gonna go.”
“Eddie, no,” Y/n whispered, grasping onto his arm, shaking her head. “You don’t have to.”
“I’ll call you later, Y/n.” Eddie tried to smile. “But I just- I gotta go.”
“Eddie!” Y/n called out after him as he walked out of her house. “Eddie, wait!” Eddie didn’t listen to her pleas. She watched him get into his van and speed away from the house. Y/n, for the first time in a few weeks, felt completely helpless. Y/n grit her teeth and slammed the front door shut, walking towards Dustin.
“Why the hell would you do that?” She shouted, pointing a finger in Dustin’s face. “Eddie’s your best friend!”
“Not anymore!” Dustin shouted back.
“How come you didn’t react this way when you thought the father was Steve?” She asked, lips turned into a frown. “It’s the exact same thing.”
“No, it’s not!” He stomped his foot.
“Yes, it is, Dustin.”
“No, it’s not.” He threw his arms in the air. “Because I never expected it to be Eddie. And not to mention that he knew and went about his day like it was nothing.” Dustin was full on crying now.
“Okay, okay,” Claudia placed her hands on both of her children’s shoulders. “Let’s calm down a bit. We’re all mad, now, but we need to be calm about it.”
“I trusted him, Y/n.” Dustin’s voice cracked. “How could you do this to me?”
“Me?” Y/n placed her hand on her chest, eyes wide with disbelief. “You’re blaming me for this? Are you serious, Dustin?”
“If you had just told the truth in the first place, I wouldn’t be pissed!”
“Dustin,” Claudia warned. “It takes two to do this, don’t just blame your sister.”
“But-”
“What Y/n did was wrong, I know. Even I’m angry about it, but we still need to let her explain.”
“How am I supposed to know she won’t lie again?” Dustin asked, making Claudia sigh.
“I don’t think she will.” Claudia said, glancing at Y/n. “Right, honey?” Y/n quickly nodded.
“That’s why I brought him here, Dustin.” Y/n said, glancing down at the floor. “I-I didn’t want to hide anymore.” Her fingers toyed at the bottom of her shirt in nervousness.
“Why would you lie, Y/n?” Dustin wiped his nose with his sleeve.
“I-” Y/n looked at her mother and then back to Dustin, both were patiently waiting for an explanation. “I lied because… You idolized Eddie, Dustin. And… At the time, Eddie wanted nothing to do with the baby and I thought I’d be alone. I knew it’d break your heart to know the truth, so I lied.”
“You thought that’d be better than just telling me the truth?” Dustin sighed. “And why would you bring Steve into this? I didn’t talk to him for days either!”
“Steve offered to step in.” Y/n stated. “He said that he didn’t want me to do this alone, so he told me to tell people that he was the father instead of someone who didn’t want it.”
“I’m so pissed off, Y/n.”
“I know you are,” She nodded in understanding. “But Eddie was pissed too when he found out I lied about Steve too. It’s my fault, I know, but I’m so sorry.”
“I gotta go lay down.” Dustin pushed his mother’s hand off of his shoulder and trudged to his bedroom. The slam of his bedroom door made Y/n flinch slightly as tears leaked from her eyes.
“Oh, Y/n,” Claudia sighed, pulling her daughter into a hug. “Everything will be okay. Just give him time.”
“We don’t have time, ma.” Y/n sniffled. “The baby’s supposed to come in a few weeks.”
“I know.” Claudia nodded. “But look on the bright side, hun, now the baby will have both parents.”
“That’s true.” Y/n smiled slightly. “I know you probably don’t think the world of Eddie right now, but he’s really a great guy, ma. He was just scared to be a father.”
“He stepped up.” Claudia caressed her daughter’s cheek. “He’ll be there for you and the baby. That’s all that matters now.”
“I love you, ma.” Y/n leaned her head onto her mother’s shoulder.
“But I would like to get to know him more.” Claudia said. “And I want to know why he has such… wild hair.” Claudia and Y/n giggled together.
“Don’t hate on the hair.” Y/n smiled, pulling away from her mother’s hug. “I-I actually like the hair.”
“You like his hair?” Claudia’s eyes widened. “Oh my goodness, Y/n. I’m more concerned about that.”
“Shut up.” Y/n joked, making her mother laugh.
“Let’s watch some television.” Claudia wrapped her arm around Y/n’s shoulders and led her over to the couch. “Let’s just forget for tonight, hm?”
“I would love that, ma.” Y/n smiled, although she couldn’t stop from feeling the slight pain in her lower stomach getting stronger. It was just from the tension tonight, that’s all. At least she hoped so. She just wants to relax tonight. She needs to relax tonight. This pain was normal in pregnancy, right? This doesn't mean that she's in labor. It's just normal pregnancy cramps. Please, please only let it be normal cramps.
