As a thank you to all the people who (for some strange reason) follow me, and to the studyblr community (which has been a major motivating force for the past few years), I thought I’d host a give-away!

Humor is subjective and should be treated as such. Just because you don’t find it funny doesn’t mean it’s inherently evil (ex. Dark humor)

Sure, humor is subjective. But that doesn't mean that it's okay to say that somebody "doesn't have a sense of humor" or "can't take a joke" just because they don't find the same things funny as you do. Especially not if their joke is hurtful or offensive to the other person or makes them feel scared or uncomfortable.

It's like how haunted houses with blood, knives and hanging bodies might be funny to some people. But forcing a person who gets really scared and freaked out or has mental health problems to go through it would be pretty evil, don't you think?

The appalling trolls at Freeform have struck again and this time they went too far. During a stream of Toy Story, when Woody shook the magic 8 ball’ a message in the corner popped up saying:

Will Freeform save Shadowhunters if I keep tweeting about it?

You can watch Freeform’s little dig at us here. It’s an actual video so you cant say it was photo shopped. That has been debunked.

At the same time the magic 8 ball said “dont count on it.” Ok I dont know about you guys but this pisses me off to extreme levels. It was unnecessary and uncalled for. It was hurtful and a deliberate dig at our efforts.

It’s not like the SaveShadowhunters campaign did anything good right? We didnt raise 22k for LGBTQ+ youth for The Trevor Project. We didnt bust our asses to make our voices heard by bringing home 6 awards AFTER the show got cancelled.

It’s not like Freeform is tearing down a family or anything. It’s not like Freeform is screwing with some people’s (including mine) mental health.

Freeform fucked up. Again. Don’t let it slide. Make your voices heard. Let them know you’re angry and hurt. Make a move.

I could be dramatic and say Shadowhunters has saved my life, but then again that would most probably be a lie. The truth is, I have struggled with depression, self-hatred and other things best left unsaid, but I save myself by overcoming that again and again, each and every day. However, this show has been such an enormous part of that and it breaks my heart to see it come to this.

In Shadowhunters I find strength and hope. In some ways, I even find parts of myself I never knew existed. No other series has ever made as much an impact on me, and no other one has grown so much in my eyes

Shadowhunters has attracted an enormous, international and undoubtedly dedicated fandom of people who have given all of their hearts to it, because Shadowhunters is so much more than monsters or super-hunters, it is about people and the impact they have on each other. And this fandom has done and continues to do so much, because we are not willing to watch it die an early death!

I am a shadowhunter, and this will forever be marked on my skin.

Please, don’t lose hope, we have not lost until we stopped trying. Let’s save Shadowhunters!

#I have so many questions #Starting with why are you so extra Jace? Who needs a fireplace in their room #And is that a freaking bell right above your bed? #And those candles? So many questions about those candles #How are all of them lit all the time? #Are they magical? Do they just light up whenever someone walks in the room? #Or does Jace go around the room lighting them whenever he enters and blowing them out right before he leaves? #If that’s the case how does he get to the chandelier? #Is that why he sleeps on top of the covers because all that fire just makes it warm? #Also why are all the candles and lights on when he’s supposed to go to bed? #Is my boy afraid of the dark and we’re only finding out now? #Another question #Does anyone see a wardrobe? A chest of drawers? Anything where Jace’s clothes would actually be kept? #And why so many carpets Jace? Do you not like your hardwood floors? #Also those art pieces hung up #Why are some of those highlighted and others not? #Who chose the art? #Who is going to answer these for me? #One thing I do wanna point out are the books #Because my boy reads (via x)

Hey.. I was just curious. Do you like the tv show shadowhunters more or the mortal instruments series?

Well there are a lot of things that I loved in the books that are not in the show.But there are also a lot of things I loved in the show that weren't in the books.So it's hard to really say which I love the most. I am just obsessed with both.But I think I am going to say I love the books a little bit more because that's the story how it was originally supposed to be and I have been a fan of the books for 5 years or something before the show came out.(Thanks for asking, I love answering questions like this but I don't really get that many)
