"Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands." (Deuteronomy 7:9 NLT) (at Fort McMurray, Alberta)

See I like this because it's very easy to get caught up in the desire to pay back people with rudeness and snide remarks because they were mean or rude to us. We all fall into this kind of thinking and behaviour. It's important to remember that Jesus would never do that to someone, and if were true disciples of Christ then we should be emulating him with our actions as well. (at Terrace Bay, Ontario)

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NLT (at Guelph, Ontario)
