Chronic wasting?
Possibly.
Learned a deer thing today and I'm passing the knowledge on. Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) hasn't made it to Scotland, yet, but if you're in North America you may want to read up on it to become familiar with the symptoms.
Ah nature my beloathed.

First look at TRESE! (FINALLY)
Another one ‘for your nerdy consideration’…
Trese is an upcoming Netflix anime directed by Jay Oliva and developed by BASE Entertainment.
Based on the Trese comics by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo — the story is set in Metro Manila and centered on Alexandra Trese, a detective that deals with supernatural beings from Filipino myth and folklore.
If you want to read the comics before the anime comes out, the US/international editions are releasing soon (November 4 for Vol. 1) and available for pre-order on Comixology and probably your local comic book store.

about to post something really great
how many bears can a bear tree hold if a bear tree could hold bears
You mean if the tree can… bear the weight
and a partridge in a bear tree
OP that’s not a picture of a dog
Right, it’s a picture of at least 16 dogs
