To the people who get caught hurling racial, homophobic, etc. slurs, I just wanted to say, feel free to save your fake ass apologies. You aren't forgiven. You've shown who you are in your heart, and you can choke on it. You're sorry you're facing consequences, and that's it.
Saying faggot ain't a big deal
gentle reminder that
QUEER is NOT A SLUR.
QUEER is a word that we have already RECLAIMED for our own use.
Please don’t wrench it back out of our hands only to return it to the people that hate us. We really don’t need to hand them ammo. Particularly not when the word has been hard won and is now valued by many of us.
It is especially loved by those of us who don’t fit comfortably under one tidy label such as Gay, Lesbian, or Bi.
QUEER is a word that I, and many like me, find EMPOWERING. Using the word QUEER is an acknowledgment of our past (and present) struggles, an acceptance of who we are, and an expression of SELF LOVE.
If you are old enough to have experienced the word QUEER being used against you as a slur (I am,) and that experience hurt you in a way that prevents you from embracing QUEER as a new, positive expression - that’s ok. You don’t need to use it for yourself. And what you experienced might drive you to educate younger people about the struggles we had to go through in the past - we NEED to remember our past. But please don’t try to impose the breadth of your pain on other people by taking this word away from them when they are using it to find HOPE and HEALING and PEACE.
If you are young enough to have never experienced QUEER as a slur, but dismiss it now as a slur out of a righteous desire to defend us - let me please tell you that you are NOT defending all of us. In fact, you are hurting many of us.
A word becomes a slur through INTENTION. The intention to cause pain, to express hatred, to alienate.
The word QUEER, as used by QUEER people and QUEER allies, is being used with the intention to stir PRIDE, to express LOVE, to be INCLUSIVE.
QUEER is not a slur. Insisting that it is taking 2 steps backwards in a battle where we fight and bleed and die for every inch forward.

i hate that privileged people see oppression as a game or a club that they are losing at or didn’t get invited to and then start to see that “exclusion” as an equal form of oppression
Lol anyone can say faggot tho.
"“They didn’t do anything vicious. Even if they throw a rock at the car, it doesn’t justify beating up a child. It just doesn’t,"
What the actual fuck???
Theres a strange belief that seems to crop up these days that even violent people shouldn't be met with violence.
War will become the next entertainment medium
So I'm ok with this on principal, but do you think there's a chance he might remember who he picked for Vice President and what she's done in the past when it comes to this kind of charge.

Probably not, more likely he wakes up to a video every morning like Drew Barrymore in 50 first dates, much easier to come to terms with than realizing the woman you chose as your running mate liked to lock people up for petty marijuana charges so she could use them for slave labor.
DNC has to be absolutely terrified about midterms to pull this one out on top of the possible $10,000 student loan bribe.
Isn’t Biden responsible for the federal laws these people were put away for to begin with, some 30-40 years ago?
Probably, so far it seems like the bulk of the reforms he's attempted lead right back to his desk when he was a senator, school loans being one of those too.
Could this get FPSRussia his guns back?
Watch: Brian Yu’s heartbreaking poem will strike anyone with students loans to the core.
Stop being dramatic…college does not cost an arm and a leg. If you could do basic algebra you would know that….but instead you write poetry and whine about it.
It’s a figure of speech, in case you didn’t know. Tell that to the graduate with over a 100k in student loan debt.
Don’t go to graduate school if it’s not worth it? I mean it’s not rocket science, you know up front how much it’ll cost (some variance since tuition can change slightly year by year). If it’s not worth it, then don’t do it.
If they end up with 100k in student loan debt, that’s their own fault. It’s called making an investment in your future…
100k? I'm in 30k and already think that's too much
It’s called Civil Asset Forfeiture and it’s theft, happens all over the country.
Some departments have it as a source of revenue in their budget.
Even worse is the “equitable sharing program” that allows local governments to share their loot with the federal government.
More explanation here:
Its use can be traced all the way back to medieval times and the American founding.
Shit I guess Jan 6th wasn't an insurrection or a riot. Just some amateur civil asset forfeiture.
And I hope the guy with the knife goes to jail for aggravated assault and attempted murder.
I hope you try to rob his store.
Why would I want to try to Rob his store? Not one that guy probably doesn't have a store anymore because he's behind bars for the rest of his life
Johnny Nguyen, the owner of Smokestrom Smoke Shop in Las Vegas, said he was scared for his life when the masked suspect went behind his coun
lol no he’s open today and plans on getting a firearm to defend himself in the future. Good luck!
Still, his life was not in any immediate danger.
I guess people like you are pro-life unless someone goes against your narrative eh? Fucking hypocrites
Who the fuck are you to declare his life “not in danger”? If you walk into my place of business masked, with an item concealed in a bag, and start stealing from me before hurdling the counter which is the last barrier between us, I will shoot you in the face. I have a right to defend myself and my property. There’s nothing hypocritical about self-defense.
Love when people act like property isn’t worth killing for, like property doesn’t consist of hours of your life and work you’ve invested in it.
If it’s “not worth killing for” then I guess it’s not worth dying for, don’t steal my shit and you won’t get ventilated. Cry about it
yeah no he escalated the situation, fuckoff with that bullshit
He told them multiple times to leave and not to rob him. They chose to break the only barrier between their lives and his life. They were valuing his property more than their lives so why should he show them any consideration?,
They could've left when he asked and not trying ruining his business and life. But they decided they wanted to take the risk over not getting hurt.
If you shoot someone who’s trying to murder you with their bare hands, you escalated the situation. If they actually shoot you, but you survive and kill them with your own gun, then you also “escalated the situation”.
Amazing how many people think “escalating the situation” is always wrong.
My question for people like @idblt4p is
If someone kidnaps you and holds you in a building, where it is unknown if you will be killed do you have a right to fight back?
men be like “i want a NATURAL woman none of that makeup or surgery it’s unattractive” my brother in christ you created the patriarchal beauty standards that lead women to covering up their authentic selves
men be like "i want a NATURAL woman none of that makeup or surgery it's unattractive" and then be mad when a woman is natural
Men: I want a natural woman!
Women: I'm natural! I don't wear makeup, I don't shave, I have stretch marks, cellulite, breasts with natural hang-
Men: ew not like that!
they want women to look like they're wearing flawless professional makeup and have had flawless professional surgery but without us actually doing those things. they want living dolls. it's the same reason why men will say 'I like a girl who can eat' but only to women who are thin - they want us to look like we don't eat while not engaging in the distasteful activity of restricting our food.
no we don't
What was that about 99% of all internet arguments are people making up a straw man and then getting mad that it exists
The irony is that men gave preferences, and if they genuinely want men who want armpit hair etc, that niche exists to the point of commercial viability.
The reverse is not true. There are no women paying to see short men or men with small dicks. A poor man is a lonely man - a poor woman has no impediment to a relationship.
They just want to whine. They demand to be desired despite making no effort, and despite being abusive towards the males they thirst for.
Also, are we really going to pretend like the biggest supporters of beauty standards aren't other women? Women cause women problem, men at fault for some reason.
I've literally had women complaining about beauty standards tell me to my face that I'm lying when I tell them that I find them attractive as they are, zits, pit hair, scars, stretch marks, the lot. Then when they finally started to believe me they lost respect for me because somehow that meant that I didn't have "standards". Tell me that's not a mind screw and I'll call you a liar.
Literally the female version of incel rhetoric.
"Stacies only want 6ft muscular chads, if they pretend to like anything less they're lying"
At this point I’m just never going to visit a doctor for any reason while I’m still in Canada. The fact that I might have to scream at a medical professional that I don’t want to, will not consent to, and will resist attempts to kill me is something that’s now a real possibility.
It's disturbing how many rank-and-file doctors and nurses would love for this in the States, too.
I had a patient last night who absolutely insisted that we do not give them any insulin or blood pressure medications, "because they will kill me. I have a different system and these medications will absolutely kill me." So what did the folks in the ER do while they were down there? Try to sneak giving them some anyways because "they don't know what they're talking about. Just give it to them, they won't know." But they did know, and now they're afraid to get anything in fear that we're secretly going to give them something they're afraid will kill them.
The patient couldn't sleep with their blood pressure cuff going off every hour, so they took it off. They told me they just wanted a good night sleep, breakfast in the morning, and then in the morning after they're rested and fed they can start getting treatment and making healthcare decisions with a clearer head. The response of the oncoming day shift nurse? "I'm so through with these patients trying to direct their own care. Why are they even here if they won't let us treat them?"
...Isn’t giving patients medication against their wishes literally illegal? As in “sued into next week” illegal?
Also, this sounds like you came very close to explaining to a medical board how your colleagues actively disregarded a patient’s wishes and ended up with a severely injured or dead patient.
And now the patient will have less trust for doctors, permanently.
I used to take a certain pain medication. A while back a doc prescribed me a medicine for a chronic issue. I go home, look it up and lo and behold it reacts with the pain med.
Lethally.
So of course I go back, tell her to look it up and spent nearly 20 arguing before she did. Very impressive glower when she gave me a different prescription.
There's a reason my ambition in life is to have a nice calm time where nothing happens.
I was once so informed for a doctor’s visit that she asked me if I was a med student.
I still research everything. I don’t even mix painkillers without checking interactions.
Of course, this comes with a spot of hypochrondia and the odd set of psychogenic symptoms, but it’s a small price to pay.
The problem with the state paying for healthcare is that euthanasia goes from a personal descision to a value judgement.
Are you worth keeping alive to them?
do people know that this isnt true
like if you come up on the fbi's radar for whatever reason some paperpusher can totally fuck you over for reasons that make no sense outside of like, whatever office incentives they're faced with, just with their "investigation" powers, they don't need to convict you of anything
also there's civil asset forfeiture, they can take your money and your stuff, they don't have to prove you broke a law. They don't even really have to do official asset forfeiture, they can confiscate stuff as part of an investigation and then "lose" it when they finally decide they're not charging you with a crime
are we really dunking on republicans now by saying the fbi are our friends
EDIT: also marijuana possession is against federal law
I'm getting a unending amount of entertainment from accounts that I have seen in the past talking about how terrible federal and local law enforcement are and how they fabricate evidence in order to lock up innocent people say.......
Well say exactly what this meme says.
They all of a sudden don't fabricate evidence and lock innocent people up anymore, no innocent people get convicted because a dirty cop lied on the sand or planted evidence.
My god, do you even stop for a moment to think about what you're posting here.
I get it you don't like Trump, that's your right.
Why the fuck are you pivoting 180 degrees on cops locking up innocent people just because they're bored as a result of that.
it's pathetic and makes every other claim and statement made suspect because it's clear that your moral and political compass are actually a weather vane.
Amazing they know, for a fact, that the FBI is right about Trump, without any actual evidence. Even though the last two major accusations against him (starting a "coup" and colluding with Russia) also failed to pan out.
It's truly impressive how fast the establishment got the left to go from, "The FBI WILL fuck with you if they want to, even if you haven't broken the law". To saying essentially "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear".
It's like watching a nation fall into authoritarian madness after being told there's an evil faction that must be destroyed at all costs.
Shaun Hastings definitely voted for brexit
Based and fuck Europe pilled
Yes now let’s extend it to everyone else :)
I can understand why the queen would be an exception, it's sort of be killing a golden goose.
But no one should be subject to this.
Question: If you spend most of your company’s money on expansion or whatever, and any “rainy day fund” is effectively deleted on a regular basis, what happens whem something major happens like, oh I don’t know a government mandated shutdown of your company (for a “novel” cold strain), how long will your company last?
And this is besides the point of taxation is theft.
Hey, did Ike work for any defense contractors after his time in the Army? Man knew the military-industrial complexpretty good, wouldn’t be surprised if he personally benefitted from it as well.
Daily reminder that there is no such thing as hoarding wealth.
Daily reminder that many of the people who complain of wealth hoarding, believe in a system where all economic resources belong to a single group.
