Early concept art for the Luncheon Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey, seen in the Art of Super Mario Odyssey book. Note the design of the buildings to resemble cabinets and other furniture that would be seen in a kitchen; this concept was not used in the finished game where the architecture of the kingdom is simply in a Roman temple style instead.

The only place official artwork of a Block Boo in Yoshi's Story appears is in the 1998 German official guide for the game, being absent from all other guides. The artwork is notable for seemingly depicting the Block Boo mid-transformation, being neither fully round nor an actual block at that point.
