Rumi heads to bed leaving Maeve to her own devices and she has access to the internet. Reddit naturally pops up with people debating Stratts fate when a curious comment catches Maeve's attention.
Sucks we never got to see but this fic on AO3 healed me bro.
Rumi had taught Maeve never to click strange links but people were responding to this person saying the fic was awesome. So she clicked to see a red and white website called AO3.
It was the next morning and Rumi went to check on Maeve to find her girl with bloodshot eyes, chewing on some jerky, while reading with phone propped up by a pillow.
Rumi: Ryu Maeve, don't tell me you stayed up all night.
