Mornings -(ft Cortis)
Fem reader! Keonho paring
Part two
An: i wanted too make this so badly i hope this turns into a series
The room was quiet. You could hear the AC running. You could describe it as peaceful for y/n and Keonho, their soft giggles filling the silence. Sadly, for the rest of the group, that wasn’t the case.
“Can you guys shut the fuck up? It’s the middle of the night!”
A loud bang followed the complaint. If there was one thing everyone knew about James, it was that he did not play when it came to his sleep or food. That’s why he ordered separately from the rest of the group.
“Mmph… sorry, James!” Keonho apologized, struggling to keep a straight face.
For the rest of the night, Keonho and y/n tried their absolute best to stay quiet, the moonlight spilling through the curtains. Seoul was still filled with lights, a city that never really slept.
The next morning was chaotic. The boys—except for Keonho, and y/n, who was still in her room—tried their best to make breakfast for everyone.
Well… Martin burnt the toast.
Seonghyeon overcooked the eggs.
And Juhoon was making his own breakfast alongside James.
“Good morning, everyone! Rise and shine, life is good!” I announced cheerfully.
The boys immediately looked up.
“Someone woke up on the right side of the bed,” Martin teased.
“Shut up! I get to be happy once in a while.”
A happy grin spread across Martin’s face.
“Keonho must’ve done a great job on you.”
The group burst into laughter.
“Shut upppp! You’re not funny!!”
“Okay, okay, I’m sorry. But seriously, do you guys not sleep?” James groaned, clearly annoyed.
“I mean, a new episode of Love Letters dropped, and we wanted to watch it together,” y/n explained.
Juhoon looked up from his food.
“When did he become such a softie?”
Right on cue, Keonho walked into the kitchen, still looking half asleep. His hair was a mess and he was rubbing his eyes.
“…Become what?”
The second he walked in everyone started laughing.
“A softie,” Martin said with a grin.
Keonho frowned.
“What are you guys even talking about?”
“You staying up all night watching Love Letters for starters,” Juhoon pointed out.
“It wasn’t all night.”
“It was literally almost three in the morning,” James muttered.
“Okay and?” Keonho shrugged, grabbing himself a drink.
“And a year ago you would’ve called us losers and gone back to sleep,” Martin laughed.
“That’s because you are losers.”
“See?” Martin pointed at him. “He still has a little bit of hope left.”
I couldn’t help laughing.
“He’s not wrong.”
“Wow, thanks for the support.”
“Anytime.”
Keonho rolled his eyes but I could see the smile he was trying to hide.
“You’re all so annoying.”
“Yet here you are,” Juhoon teased.
“Unfortunately.”
The text -(ft Cortis)
Parings fem!y/n & keonho
Part one: part two is out!
Momos note: should I make this a series??
It all started with a text.
y/n’s phone lit up while she was just lying in her room doing nothing.
Keonho: you busy?
She stared at it for a second.
y/n: why
Almost instantly.
Keonho: come to the dorms
She blinked.
y/n: now??
Keonho: yeah
Keonho: the guys are out
Keonho: im bored
y/n frowned a little.
y/n: that sounds suspicious
Keonho: how 😭
Keonho: i just want you to come over
She hesitated for a bit.
y/n: what are you doing
Keonho: nothing
Keonho: literally nothing
Keonho: suffering
That made her laugh a bit.
y/n: fine
y/n: but if this is a setup im leaving
Keonho: its not 😭
Keonho: just come
y/n didn’t even know why she said yes so fast.
one minute she was in her room, next she was already getting ready.
the dorm building was quiet when she got there.
too quiet.
she already didn’t trust it.
she knocked once and let herself in.
“hello?”
no answer.
“…keonho?”
still nothing.
she walked in slowly.
“this is how i die,” she muttered.
“you’re dramatic.”
she turned her head.
keonho was just sitting on the couch like he had been there the whole time.
“you said you were bored,” she said while taking her shoes off.
“i was,” he shrugged. “now you’re here.”
“that’s not how that works.”
“it is now.”
she rolled her eyes but still sat next to him.
for a second it was quiet.
then keonho grabbed the remote.
“I was waiting for you,” he said.
“for what?”
he pointed at the tv.
“this.”
love letters.
y/n looked at him.
“…don’t tell me.”
he already pressed play.
“you said you were behind,” he said.
“that was like a week ago.”
“yeah. so now we’re catching up.”
she sighed but didn’t move.
“…you really made me come all the way here for this.”
“and because i was bored,” he added.
“right.”
they watched in silence for a bit.
then—
“oh my god,” y/n said.
“he is so dumb.”
“no he’s not,” keonho said immediately. “he’s just misunderstood.”
“he literally ignored her for like three episodes.”
“he’s thinking.”
“that is not thinking.”
keonho gasped. “you don’t get it.”
“i do get it.”
“no you don’t.”
“yes i do.”
and somehow they were arguing again.

Authors note: I made another one instead of continuing, sorry. Um my school made us right storys for our school competition mines Percy Jackson angst him dying bc of a character I made up. I can post if yall want me too!
Without even fully opening his eyes, Sae reached out from under the blanket and shut it off.
“…Too early,” he muttered. “It’s annoying.”
“Sae, seriously, we’re going to be late,” y/n said, sitting up slightly.
y/n was his girlfriend. They’d been together for a year and a half, and she still hadn’t figured out how he could be so calm in the mornings… or so impossible.
“Then go,” Sae replied, like it didn’t matter at all. “You’re the one who cares.”
There was a pause. Not the comfortable kind. The kind where she looked at him like she expected something softer, something else, but Sae just stared back, unbothered.
“…you always do that,” y/n said quietly.
“Do what?”
“Act like nothing matters to you.”
Sae didn’t answer right away. He shifted slightly under the blanket, turning his head toward her just a bit.
“You think too much,” he said finally.
y/n let out a small breath, frustrated. Not really at him. More at herself for still caring this much when she knew how he was.
“Just today…” she said after a moment, softer now, “but tomorrow you have to go to school. Promise me, Sae?”
That made him glance at her again.
He didn’t answer immediately. Just looked at her for a moment like he was deciding whether it was even worth arguing.
“…you’re annoying,” he muttered.
“Yeah, I know.”
A pause.
Then Sae sighed, barely noticeable, and shifted closer without making it a big deal. Like it wasn’t a choice, just something natural.
“…fine.”
y/n blinked. “That’s it?”
“Don’t push it.”
His arm rested loosely near her now. Warm. Close. The space between them gone without either of them acknowledging it.
“Happy now?” he asked flatly.
y/n gave a small, quiet laugh. “Not really.”
“Tch.”
But he didn’t move away.
The room stayed quiet after that. Soft morning light. Warm sheets. No urgency anymore, even though there probably should’ve been.
“…five minutes,” Sae said, already closing his eyes again.
y/n smiled a little and leaned back into the bed.
“Okay.”
And for once, neither of them rushed to leave it.

He froze.
Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
His jaw tightened.
Slowly, he reached for his phone and flipped it over.
Twelve new notifications.
All from Instagram.
Sae stared at the screen for a long second.
“…You’re actually insane.”
He told himself.
he wouldn’t
he couldn’t
Another notification came through instantly.
Sae tapped it without thinking.
It was an edit.
Of him.
Clips of his plays from U20s, slowed down, transitions clean and sharp. He watched, expression unreadable.
Then the video shifted and it wasn’t just him anymore.
It was a duo edit.
Him and her.
Sae frowned slightly.
“…What?”
Clips of her laughing and posing blended perfectly with his movements on the field, like they belonged together.
They didn’t.
They had never even met.
Another notification popped up.
Sooyung had posted a new video.
Sae clicked.
“My top three celeb crushes,” she said casually, smiling at the camera.
“Number three… myself, of course. I don’t need a man.”
She laughed a little.
“Number two… Juhoon from Cortis.”
Sae barely reacted, already half-tuned out
until-
“…and number one…”
A small pause.
Then-
“Itoshi Sae. That’s it. Goodbye.”
Sooyung said a little rushed as the video cut off. Sae froze.
The caption read: just a joke lol, for funnies :D
A joke.
Right.
Still, he could feel heat rising in his chest. And his cheeks turned a slight pink. His grip tightened slightly around his phone.
Just hormones?
After the u20s match, and a little suggestive

Sae was exhausted—and pissed—after the Japan finals match. His muscles ached, his head throbbed, and worst of all, he’d made a mistake. A huge one.
He had given his number to Shidou.
At the time, it hadn’t seemed like a big deal. Now? It was a nightmare.
Every single morning, like clockwork, his phone would buzz with another message:
“Hey sweet cheeks, miss me?”
Sae never replied. Not once. He refused to give Shidou the satisfaction.
Until tonight… almost.
Wrapped under his covers, laptop balanced on his knees, Sae looked nothing like the composed prodigy everyone knew. He looked like a teenager—because, well, he was one. On his screen was Y/n, a rising teen celebrity. Japanese, effortlessly beautiful, and everywhere online. Her Instagram and TikTok were constantly active, filled with perfectly curated posts and bold, attention-grabbing videos.
Sae told himself he was just scrolling.
He wasn’t.
He had been watching one of her videos for the past minute, eyes fixed, completely absorbed.
Then his phone started ringing.
He didn’t even need to check. He already knew who it was.
Shidou.
Sae scoffed and ignored it, shifting slightly to sit up straighter. But as he moved, his forearm brushed against the screen—
—and accidentally hit accept.
His eyes widened.
“…Shit.”
“Well, well,” Shidou’s voice came through, low and amused. “Didn’t think you’d actually pick up.”
Sae stayed silent, already reaching to end the call.
“Don’t hang up,” Shidou added quickly, like he could see him. “You sound out of breath. What were you doing?”
“…Nothing.”
A pause. Then a laugh—sharp and knowing.
“Liar.”
Sae scoffed. What was it to Shidou anyway?
“Leave me alone for once.”
There was a brief pause on the other end.
Then Shidou burst out laughing.
“Pfft—yeah… sure, buddy, don’t wear out your hand.”
Sae’s expression darkened.
Before Shidou could say anything else, he hung up.
Silence filled the room again, thick and immediate.
Sae exhaled sharply, dragging his hand down his face. He did not have the patience to deal with Shidou right now. Not today.
This was his one free day all week.
He was going to use it.
