and appreciation post of sorts ^ ^

so with skirk, i was persuaded by my friend to wish for her as i was guaranteed and pretty high pity. i was pretty happy with my wriothesley but she's really convincing so i ended up wishing on her and that was that. but! a couple wishes later (because i'm a lesson-never-learned pity builder) i started wishing again and:

(i didn't get a pic the first time ;-;) and then my other friend said try the weapon banner for lols

this was a c1 signature weapon holding character, and it was done effortlessly. i've never had rolls like this before. it's been close, i got c1 chiori within five pulls, and wriothesley's weapon i didn't save up for on his release. skirk is just something else

then i got her escoffier even though i'm not the biggest fan of her ;-; but this took a lot of denial to overcome, i got escoffier on her latest rerun. and now, with furina, shenhe c1, and reluctantly escoffier (and loads of farming...) my skirk is pretty good :)

literally the first day of the month i got yao guang

i really wasn't expecting it. i had just won my 50/50 with sunday and barely had any wishes. pretty low pity that. i impress myself constantly ;-; i can finally (kinda) use sparxie in a proper team (maybe)

and then over on lads, instead of saving my gems for caleb's birthday as i had said to myself, fricking rerun from when i didn't plan happened and i did a careful 10 pull to see if anything happens... got xavier, went "welp" then used up my savings to get zayne...

it looked angsty so i wanted it...

for genshin, i have no new characters. i was wishing on lohen but i had low pity and wasn't really trying lol, oh well. looking forward to going to the moon and then snezhnaya ^ ^ that's gonna be fun i am so sure

I'm not saying people shouldn't have been angry about the 731 reference. They absolutely had every right to be. Unit 731 is one of the darkest chapters in history and if that reference was made carelessly, then yes, people deserved an apology and an explanation.

But explain to me how Valko became the sacrificial lamb here.

Who exactly does this help? The people who were hurt by the reference? They still deserve accountability.

The people who were excited for Valko? Congratulations, you just told them to go fuck themselves.

The developers who spent who knows how long creating an entirely new LI? Their work gets deleted overnight.

So what was the goal here?

Because this doesn't feel like taking responsibility. It feels like corporate damage control.

Fix the story.

Rewrite the chapter.

Delete the offending reference.

Delay the release.

Fire whoever thought using 731 and 611 was acceptable if you have to.

But deleting an ENTIRE CHARACTER because of a mistake in ONE PART OF THE GAME is such an absurd overreaction that I genuinely can't wrap my head around it. I'm just so unbelievably disappointed. because Infold's response was somehow even worse than the original mistake.

We lost a character.

The developers lost their work.

The fandom lost something people had been excited about. What an absolute fucking waste.

i will always love furnishing aspect of my games. i used to get lost in the love nikki room decor, and i get lost in genshin's teapot system a lot, so i reckon it might be the same once i get the hang of the system in lads...

i just wish this game would be available on desktop ;-; my phone won't be able to handle it and i don't technically have an ipad ;-; i could do so much more, but phones are too tiny for meeeeee

on that note... i might do a teapot tour (i've decked out most of the realms) and maybe show off my love nikki room... as for lads, this is all the look you'll get...

another month has passed and i still havent done more of the hsr main story... oh well. i mostly do currency wars and simulated universe nowadays, i still do them fun (for now). so, starting of with hsr again, i've not really got new wins, but i said before, i finally decided to get robin and huohuo from the shop :/ i've always wanted huohuo, so now i can proudly hold her up hehe. sunday has a banner right now, but i doubt i'm winning my 50/50 for him and i barely have enough jades...

in terms of genshin, i have no new characters. no, i won't be pulling for durin or nicole because i'm not a very technical player when it comes to these things... was trying to get prune though, but nothing. finally levelled mona up enough for her hexerei quest. i dislike fighting the oceanid. always have. probably always will. you always need a boss like that, in every game ¬ ¬

okay. as soon as i wrote this, i wished and got nicole...

i was trying to get prune ;-; i now do not have all the four star characters............. I don't know what I'll do with nicole...

i did the archon quest! with genshin, i prolly will stay up to date, very opposite of hsr, but yeah. sumeru, as always, has my heart. it was a good quest, with lots of stuff i liked. here, have a kaveh:

i guess summer is very much upon us, hooray ;-; so i got caleb from promise, and this outfit for mc as i didn't end up spending money on any game this month. very happy (i know it's the outfit she wears with xavier, but it's my money, and she looks good in yellow surprisingly).

no update for love nikki as i'm just trying my best to play catch up and it takes forever and i very firmly do not want to spend money on that game until i do catch up, which'll take forever i believe... but yeah, that was my month
