Two kitties with Cerebellar Hyperplasia. Essentially they just wobble in unison, but can still enjoy life to the fullest with one another
It’s weird how like, when this pandemic started there was all this talk about a vaccine and it taking so much time to produce, test, and manufacture once it had been approved. but then the medical community worldwide worked like never before develop a vaccine to a new, never before seen virus, and people are refusing to take it because they think it was rushed, despite hundreds upon hundreds of clinical trials with a very, very minuscule amount of people suffering from side effects of the vaccine. Most of the people worried about that vaccine have never had a negative experience with the vaccine before in their lives, yet there’s so much doubt around the vaccine and trust in it that it’s going to be harmful when there’s like, no evidence to support any of that.
All of this!!! I’m in med school right now, as a result I know many many people who were directly involved with every step of the covid vaccine creation process. All of them, literally all of them, keep saying how the only reason we were able to get a vaccine so soon was because of the unbelievably high amount of funding and media attention they were getting. The reason the vaccines seem to have come out “too early,” isn’t because the science was rushed, it’s because there were unprecedented numbers of people working 24/7 on this. The trials finished so quickly because unprecedented numbers of people signed up for the trials, do you know how hard it is to even get funding for trials?????? Let alone how hard it normally is to get people to sign up for them???? The size of the subject pools for these studies were astronomical, the kind where in class your professor would say “...but you’d never find that many people willing to join your study within the time constraints you’d have.” There will always be people who react badly to a substance, hell there are people who are allergic to sunlight, that doesn’t automatically make appropriate doses of the substance dangerous for the vast majority of people.
you said it was a ghost story. it isn’t. it’s a love story.

please be gentle to your pets, they trust you so much and believe that whatever youre doing for them is the best thing. they trust you to be kind and benevolent. small critter or otherwise, you have the trust of this animal, and i implore you to be gentle and decent. don’t betray that trust
Wait for it.

Millennial culture is having two wildly different conversations with the same person on two different apps at the exact same time
conversation 1: cheese borger
conversation 2: that’s why I think I’m so afraid of making myself vulnerable, because my father taught me I couldn’t ever truly trust anyone

Life imitates art
The way Birds of Prey’s cinematography went OFF
Looking at this again I’m noticing how it this movie wasn’t afraid of putting things center frame. A lot of people come out of film school thinking the 2/3/golden ratio rule is the only way to compose shots and Marvel movies are especially bad about using that composition technique to draw the audience’s eye away from women’s faces to their boobs. Mad Max Fury Road is famous for the director’s insistence on using center framing to emphasize action
