Chap 28. Friends For Now
Keigo swiped a hand over his tired face, and tried to rearrange his features into a smile. It didn’t feel right so he dropped it, and took a deep breath before letting himself into Miku’s hospital room.
Sunlight spilled through the open blinds, bathing the room in light.
Keigo felt as his heart had stopped when he spotted Miku. Then he saw the dark skinned woman with gleaming black wings holding her hand, and it plummeted into his stomach.
Because that woman, was undoubtedly...
“Kei!” Miku exclaimed, eyes widening at the sight of him. A bright beam lit up her face.
“Ang-“ his eyes flitted to the dark skinned woman next to her, and he changed his tune. “Miku...”
“I’m so glad you’re here!” Miku exclaimed, although her voice was a bit weak, lacking its usual exuberance. She waved him to her bed side. “Keigo this is my mother Angela Tsuichi, mommy this is Keigo.”
Miku’s mother, shot him a tired, but friendly smile.
“Of course. The hero that my baby’s been going on and on about for months.”
“Ma,” Miku frowned.
“And of course the man that saved her,” she took Keigo’s hand in hers. It was soft and cool, but the touch was firm. What he imagined a mother’s touch should be.
“Thank you, Keigo.”
For what?
He wanted to ask.
If it wasn’t for me, your daughter would have been safe. Of course I had to rescue her. I love her and I almost got her—
“Of course.” Keigo nodded with a small, tight smile back at the woman.
“Well, I’ll give you two some space.” Ms. Tsuichi leaned over to kiss Miku’s forehead before leaving the couple alone together.
Keigo stared down at Miku’s tired little figure huddled under the starched hospital blankets for a long while, frowning.
The long silence between them made Keigo’s thoughts seem even louder. His golden eyes fell to her singed white feathers and he felt his stomach knot.
“Kei?” Miku hummed.
He looked at her.
“You know you can sit down, right?” She scoffed.
Keigo sank into the chair at her bedside, shoulders and wings drooping with his weight.
“How do you feel, Angel?”
“Like shit, but I’ve felt worse.” She chuckled.
Keigo’s frown deepened.
“Angel, I—“ he swallowed the lump in his throat, and continued. “I’m sorry.”
Miku’s brows wrinkled. “For what?”
“Everything!” He choked out. “If it weren’t for me, Dabi never would have targeted you. You would have never been kidnapped. I should have never-never..”
Never what? Met her? Pursued her? Dated her? Fallen for her?
Been selfish enough to to want all of those things?
Have you ever chosen yourself?
“I should have never gotten you mixed up in my shit.”
“Keigo, you didn’t get me mixed up in your shit.”
“I didn’t tell you the whole truth about Dabi. I dated you Knowing that he could be out there.”
“So you were supposed to put your life on hold waiting for Dabi to strike?”
“I should have been more careful.”
“You can’t control everything, Keigo,” Miku’s head collapsed against the pillows as she stared at him. “Even if we hadn’t dated, Dabi would have went after someone else you cared about.”
“Anyone else would have been able to protect themselves, but you—“
“Are a grown woman who made my own decisions.” She shot back, in a firm tone.
Keigo pressed his lips shut.
“Keigo,” Miku sighed, “I’m alive and safe because of you.”
“You were kidnapped because of me.” He shot back.
“No. I was kidnapped because of Dabi.”
Because he was trying to hurt me by hurting you...
Keigo said nothing. Miku must have sensed his unease, because she reached a hand towards him, wiggling her fingers with a smile.
Despite himself, the man managed a smile back and slipped his hand in hers. It was soft and warm. He was so grateful for the warmth. He squeezed it gently.
“I’m glad you’re here.”
“I’m glad you’re here.”
Keigo’s fingers twitched in Miku’s hand. His mind stumbled over every thought swimming around his brain. It didn’t help that the warm, soft weight of Miku’s hand was nestled in his. Distracting him from what he needed to say.
He loosened his grip some. It didn’t make it any easier, but it did make it less distracting.
“I—don’t...I don’t think we should date anymore.” He finally managed.
“I don’t either.”
Keigo swallowed what he was almost confident was his heart attempting to climb out of his throat.
“I don’t need a boyfriend right now,” Miku continued. Then she gripped his hand with renewed strength. “But I could really use a friend.” She smiled. It was tiny and hopeful.
Keigo returned it easily.
“I can be that.” He replied.
“Sooo,” she bit her lip. “Friends?” She asked.
A sad, but amused little huff escaped him. He leaned forward until his lips found hers. In that moment, Keigo’s mind felt clear for the first time in weeks.
When he pulled back, he swept his other hand along her cheek and held her gaze.
“Friends for now.” He corrected.
“Friends for now.” Miku repeated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Now, you have a lot of fans who want to make sure that you’re taking care of yourself since the incident. Do you have any plans to continue with your music at all?”
The interviewer asked. Miku appreciated the woman’s gentle voice and her tactful handling of the questions.
Following her kidnapping and her release from the hospital, Miku was determined not to let what happened to her shape her narrative. But just because she could put on a brave face did not mean she was ready to go into details about the incident.
She smiled, tilted her head to show off her best angle and replied: “I don’t want my fans to worry. Myself and my team have decided that it’s in my best interest to...step away from the idea of touring for right now and focus on other projects. I have something planned that I think they’re going to like.” She gave a little wink.
“Oh! That sounds promising. Can we have a hint on what it is?”
“Well—“
The chiming of the doorbell disrupted the interviewer, and Miku’s heart revved as her head snapped towards the door along with the interviewers.
Miku cleared her throat.
“I-I wasn’t expecting anybody.” She explained.
The interviewer frowned.
“Excuse me.”
Miku tried not to let her unease show as she headed for the front door. When she opened it, a leopard spotted man in a delivery suit greeted her with a smile.
“Got a bouquet for a Ms. Shirogane.”
“Oh-!”
As soon as her eyes fell on the vase of dandelions protected in their little plastic globe to keep the seeds from blowing away, she knew exactly who they were from.
Miku giggled, and accepted the bouquet from the man.
“Enjoy your flowers!” He announced before heading off.
The woman shut the door behind him and checked the note attached.
For my uniquely packaged flower. With all my love.
Sincerely,
Your friend for now.
(I cannot tell you guys how grateful I am that I got all through the story and that y’all supported me through it. It was hard for me to write I’m sure that shows I’m sure there’s like a shit ton of inconsistencies that I’m going to have to go back and fix. But the fact that I actually finished some thing with the way my ADHD and my anxiety is set up, i’m just so proud to have completed some thing. I’m not fully happy with it, And I’m definitely going to go through and re-write it but for the time being I’m just glad that I finished Miku and Keigo’s story and that I can move on with a clear mind. This won’t be the last that you see these two bird brains because I adore them and I want to do more for them but this is it for now)
Chap. 9 On Some Fuck Shit
(This is long as shit and y’all probably ain’t gone read it, BUT trigger warnings: drug mention, gun violence, rough sex, spanking)
Miku strolled into Dare to Endeavor Inc. in a pair of Enji’s favorite red bottom heels and a black slip dress. with a khaki boyfriend blazer over the ensemble to make it less obvious that this was a dick appointment.
She bypassed the front desk attendant with a friendly smile and a nod and headed for the elevator. In the silver reflection of the elevator doors she smoothed the dress over her curves and fluffed her platinum curls before stepping off on the top floor.
Miku knocked at the office door.
“Who is it?” Enji’s impatient baritone called out.
“Your lunch.” Miku shot back, playfully.
Several seconds passed before the door buzzed open.
Light streamed in through the floor to ceiling windows and poured over Enji who was huddled over some paperwork at his desk.
“So now you can come see me?” Enji scoffed, not even sparing Miku a glance as he marked off the papers. “What’s wrong? Already spend all of Hawks’ money?”
“I can’t just come by and check up on my big daddy?” Miku shot back strutting up to the huge desk to perch daintily on the edge. “I heard you were in a drive-by a few nights back.”
“Who told you that? Your new little boy toy?”
Miku fought the urge to roll her eyes. Her sugar daddy’s pride was clearly too hurt. He was not gonna make this easy on her.
“Come on, Daddy, you gonna hold that over my head forever?” She cooed. “If you had just stuck around, you would have known that I actually wanted you to join us. I just had to make sure Hawks could keep up with my stallion before I had you come in and embarrass the poor guy. Would have been a shame if you were blowing my back out and all he could do was watch.”
“As if I’d want to watch that half pint fuck you in the first place.” Enji snapped, throwing down his pen and glaring at her. “You know what I’ve always liked about you, Miku? It’s that I always thought you to be more mature than other people your age. You’re an old soul and you were raised well, but what you did the other night was blatantly disrespectful. Frankly, I have half a mind to cut you off after that little stunt.” He went back to scribbling on his papers.
Miku chuckled softly. “Of course you do, Daddy, and you would be justified,” she stood up from his desk with a flourish, “but even if you do, let me show you how sorry I am.”
She tossed the blazer on his head, knowing it would piss him off. Sure enough, Enji finally glared up at her just in time to watch the little black dress slide off her thick body to reveal the skimpy white lace lingerie hugging her curves. She latched a dog collar and leash around her neck before dropping on all fours before Enji.
Now she had his attention. He swiveled in his desk chair and watched the dark skinned minx crawl towards him until she was crouched by his leather loafers.
“Let me make it up to you master—pleeeaase.”
She slowly licked the toe of his shoe. Enji’s intense gaze locked on to Miku as she knelt between his legs.
“Let me show you how sorry I am.”
His dick jumped. He held her gaze as she unfastened his belt and then his pants. She pulled out his thick, veiny member, licking her lips. Before she could kiss the tip, Enji’s powerful hand gripped her chin, forcing her head upwards.
“I wanna see you choke on it, Lala.” He commanded. Then he sat back ready to let her work her magic.
“Look alert,” Mirko whispered, as the women navigated the back of the small house. “That car belongs to those shady guys that were at the club that night.”
Konan cut her eyes at the gleaming, blacked out Escalade as the women walked through the overgrown back yard and to the back door.
“If that car belongs to those guys, then where the hell is Spinner?”
Mirko started to knock on the door when suddenly it swung open revealing a tall man with grey hair pulled into a short ponytail.
He cracked a wide, creepy smile, ruby colored eyes flashing when they landed on Mirko.
“Ladies! How can I help you?” He asked, one hand on his hip.
Mirko’s shrewd gaze flicked to the gun tucked away in the back of his jeans.
“For starters, you can take your hand off your gun.” She deadpanned.
Shigaraki’s grin tightened. “You first, beautiful.”
Mirko let go of the hilt of her gun, and held up both hands.
Shigaraki did the same. Then he lowered his hands.
“To what do I owe the pleasure ladies?”
Konan stepped forward, wearing a cool smile. “We’re looking for Spinner. We’re friends of his.”
“Damn,” Shigaraki eyed the Latina queen pin, “I didn’t realize Spinner had friends in such high places, Ms. Senbasa. Come in.”
She felt Mirko touch her shoulder in a silent warning.
This could be a trap.
Konan’s smile stayed fixed in place.
“Don’t mind if we do.” She replied, stepping over the threshold and into a small dingy kitchen.
The house smelled like old food and the kitchen table was littered with unused cigarellos, half smoked blunts, and candy.
“Well, you know my name,” Konan said as they followed the man into the cramped living room. “Care to to tell me yours?”
Shigaraki sank down into the old, overstuffed couch and untucked an unlit blunt from behind his ear, lighting it up.
“Name’s Shigaraki.” He choked out. “Nice to officially meet the notorious madame herself,” he smirked. “Gotta say, big mama, I really admire your work. You’re like the female Hugh Hefner.”
Konan scoffed, crossing her arms.
“Cut the bullshit, kid. Where is Spinner, and why the fuck did you break into his house?”
“Break in? I prefer to think of it as house sitting. Besides I don’t know where he is.”
“That’s fine,” Konan sat down on the couch across from him while Mirko stood at her side, glaring down at Shigaraki. “Perfect, actually. Why don’t you and I get to know each other a little better?” She smiled, scanning the younger man. “I heard you’ve been lurking around my club and threatening my patrons.”
“You heard wrong, madame Senbasa.”
“Oh? Well then how ‘bout you explain why you had Spinner hemmed up by his collar while you tried to get him in the back of that Escalade out there? Since I got it wrong.”
Shigaraki exhaled the milky white smoke through his nose, and sat back.
“Spinner owed me some money. We were just having a friendly discussion about repayment.”
“Didn’t look very friendly.” Mirko replied, flatly.
“What did he owe you money for?” Konan asked.
“For my medicine, of course! Ya see, I provide a very special medicine to some very special clients, and Spinner is one of my...pharmacists, if you will. He moved all of my product, but I didn’t see all of my money, and I still haven’t.”
“So, you were dealing drugs outside of my club?” The woman quirked a brow.
“Of course not.” Shigaraki waved the half finished blizzy in the air as he talked. “I was just trying to frequent as a patron! But when I saw Spinner I got a little distracted.” He shrugged. “Besides, even if I was moving meds outside your club, you and I both know what you’re moving inside the club.”
He smiled, Konan scowled.
“Tell me Ms. Senbasa is your little work mule, Miku, worn out yet or is there still some tread left in that platinum pussy she’s sitting on—“
Mirko lunged at the man so fast, neither party even realized it until her gun was aimed right between the man’s eyes.
“Listen you smart mouthed son of a bitch-“
Click!
Konan stiffened, but remained stone faced as she felt the barrel of a gun press against the back of her head.
“No you listen, cunt,” a cold, raspy voice spoke up from behind them both.
Mirko turned to see a tatted, black haired man with eyes a cold as his voice glaring back at her. She clenched her teeth when she saw the gun pointed at Konan’s head.
“Either you get the fuck out of his face or you can wear your precious queen pin’s brain matter as foundation. Your choice.”
With a deathly glare, Mirko withdrew her gun and backed away from Shigaraki, never taking her eyes off this new stranger.
Meanwhile, Konan’s heated gaze remained fixed on Shigaraki’s smug face.
The gun fell away from the back of her head, and Konan stood up, turning to face the other man.
“Holding me at gunpoint before I even get to know your name?” She shook her head. “I guess chivalry really is dead.” She planted her hands on her hips. “Who are you?”
“The name’s Dabi, and I think this visit is over.” He replied, coolly.
Konan searched the younger man’s face for a long while. There was something familiar about him, and for a moment, she sensed a hint of discomfort in the young man. His glare softened and his blue eyes widened slightly.
After a few more minutes, Konan smiled.
“I think you’re right, Dabi,” she slid her dark sunglasses out of her hair and slipped them on. “Meeting adjourned.”
“That cocky fuck!” Mirko screeched as she steered the car on to the road. “Who the fuck do they think they are?! Talking to you like that! Talking about Miku like that?! If that tattooed fuck face hadn’t popped up, I was this close to blowing that assholes wig back.”
While Mirko ranted, Konan pulled out the black leather wallet she had snagged off of him and opened it. Mirko finally seemed to take notice of what she was doing and glanced over.
“Hmm? What the—“ realization lit up her face. “Don’t tell me! You mopped that dude’s wallet?!”
Konan smirked back at her with a wink. “Sure did.” She picked through the contents of the wallet, her magenta eyes landing on a piece of wrapped hard candy. “Let’s get to know our new acquaintances a bit better, shall we?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Miku’s eyes rolled back as Enji’s girthy member pounded into her plush sex relentlessly.
“Come on, Lala, show your daddy how sorry you are.” He grunted as warm pleasure washed over him. “Tell me.”
But Miku couldn’t even breath. Every powerful stroke of the man’s dick left her speechless. His large hand snatched her head back by the ivory curls.
“‘M s-sor...ry, big da-ddy.”
Enji smacked the woman’s round ass so hard it burned.
Miku choked out a cry.
“Who do you belong to, Lala? Fucking say it.”
“You, big daddy.”
Miku’s entire body ached. Her pussy throbbed and her ass burned. Tears stung the corners of her eyes, and she begged for her sugar daddy to slow down, but Enji still didn’t relent. Not even a little bit.
Just then, a knock echoed at the door.
“Go away!” Enji growled.
The knock continued as Miku screamed and gagged
“I SAID GO AWAY DAMMIT!”
Miku flinched as Enji’s grip on her hair tightened.
Several seconds went by and it almost seemed as if the stranger had left. Until the knocking started back full force.
“Son of a—“ Enji pulled out of Miku, and picked her up, sitting her on the floor beneath his desk gently.
Grumbling he headed towards his office door while fixing his pants. Miku’s gaze followed him.
“GOD DAMMIT,” Enji flung open the door, rugged face red with anger. “I SAID I WAS—Huh, Hawks?”
The name grabbed Miku’s attention automatically. She glanced up from her spot on the floor, peering around Enji’s large desk.
“Damn big guy, take it easy, you look like you’re about to blow a head gasket.” Hawks’ lackadaisical voice replied. Then he locked eyes with Miku. His smile faltered as he observed her disheveled appearance, but he wiped the jealous expression off his face quickly.
“Oh, was I interrupting something?”
“Aren’t you always?” Enji scowled. He stepped into the hallway, closing the door behind him, and glared down at the man. “The hell do you want, Hawks?” Enji snapped, impatiently.
Hawks’ expression morphed from playful to stern. He fished a piece of wrapped candy out of his pocket and held it up.
“I need your scientists to look into something for me.”
“Candy?” Enji squinted in confusion.
“Not quite. I have good reason to believe this may be something more than just a sweet treat.”
Enji plucked the candy from Hawks’ fingers and turned it over in his own.
“And why the hell should I care?”
“Because, there’s money on the line. If my fighters don’t win it’s bad for business, if my business suffers your business suffers, and that means less money for both of us.” Hawks paused for a moment, letting the meaning of his words sink in. “What’s more, we have reason to believe Natsuo may be mixed up with this somehow.”
That got Enji’s attention.
“Natsuo?”
Hawks nodded.
“Didn’t you say something about a friend of his named Spinner? Word on the street is; he’s the one people are getting this ‘candy’ from. And he’s hanging out at Natsuo’s place more often right here lately.”
Enji re-focused on the candy.
“Alright. I’ll have my people look into it, and get back to you.”

((Hawks x Miku ((OC))
OK so I realize that a lot of you guys are missing parts of this fic and that’s because I have ADD and I ended up losing my count a couple of times and I’m pretty sure that I numbered the chapters wrong so I’ve been trying to go through and correctly number the chapters and link off to the next chapter in each previous part. So bear with me because that is a lot for my ADD brain to handle. But OMG GUYS WE ARE ALMOST AT THE END!!!
(Trigger warnings: restraints, non con touching, r*pe implications)
The surrounding forest was burning. The only reason the fire was contained as much as it was, was thanks to the abundance of water quirk users on the heroes side.
They kept the fire wielders at bay which allowed Keigo the room to slice and fly through the chaos and into the old temple.
Compared to the chaos in the surrounding forest, the inside of the rotting old temple was eerily still and quiet. It was massive with sagging tatami flooring and battery powered lamps. But at the center of it all was Dabi.
He stood cross armed in the middle of the messy temple.
“Hey hero. How’s that scar?”
“Ugly and annoying, but mostly forgettable after the ointment. Just like you.”
Dabi’s smirk widened.
“You’re as pleasant as ever, Hawks.”
At the sound of his hero name coming from Dabi’s mouth, Keigo’s lips twitched down and he softened his grip on his feather blade slightly.
“I wouldn’t let my guard down if I were you.”
“Oh trust me, I’m not. Unlike you, I don’t do half baked schemes. So what exactly was the plan, Dabs?” Keigo asked, drawing closer to his villainous ex. “You revive the nomu project and try to pick up where smarter more capable villains than you like Shigaraki and Stain left off?”
A deep scowl replaced Dabi’s smirk.
“I have more vision than both of them, asshole. Just because I don’t have half the resources they had—“
“Half?” Keigo let out an incredulous laugh. “Dabi, you don’t even have a quarter teaspoon of the resources or the vision that they had. You’ve been running around causing chaos with these under powered lackeys of yours while prancing around like the queen of England Letting everyone else do your dirty work. You’re a nuisance at best and a busy day at worse, but you are no Shigaraki and certainly no Stain.”
“Fuck you talk to much,” Dabi growled, his face was pinched in anger. “If you’re gonna do something then do it, hero.”
Keigo smirked. “Why don’t you make me Dabi? I’ll even give you a head start.”
Dabi planted his feet, but hesitated to do anything.
Keigo scoffed. In a blur of red, Keigo had the man pinned to the floor with his arms twisted behind his back.
“So that copycat quirk of yours can’t duplicate other people’s quirks, huh, Chiba Chidori?”
“You’re good.” Chiba chuckled as he struggled in Keigo’s grip.
“You’re obvious. Just like your leader.” Keigo shot back. “Now where’s Dabi?”
Chiba still in his Dabi disguise tilted his head against the dirty tatami flooring to face Keigo.
“Wherever your little girlfriend is.”

Cold metal cuffs kept Miku’s arms suspended above her.
Despite the heaviness in her head, her mind was still spinning. She blinked against the colored spots in her black vision until slowly, it sharpened.
The room was cold and dimly lit. Nothing but a dirty lightbulb swinging from the ceiling to illuminate a concrete floor.
The exposed skin of her arms and legs were pressed to a frigid stone wall. She couldn’t even attempt to move her wings.
Anxiety and dread swallowed Miku whole. Her legs felt gelatinous.
She clenched and unclenched her fingers as she forced herself to breathe deeply through her nose. More details about the room swam into her vision.
There was a cell that she thankfully wasn’t inside of and a set of concrete stairs with a heavy looking metal door at the end of them.
Fuck! Fuck, fuck!
Miku glanced up at her wrists and blinked back the tears stinging the corners of her eyes. She rattled the chains futilely.
Just then, the metal door swung open with a loud bang. Dabi’s tall, slender silhouette stood in the spill of light pouring into the room.
“Ah. So Sleeping beauty’s finally awake, is she?” He drawled, slowly descending the stairs.
“What do you want?” Miku hissed back at him, tugging against her restraints.
Dabi didn’t reply as he advanced on Miku slowly until his chest was pressed against hers. She could smell the stench of tobacco on him, and turned away in disgust.
“Relax, Angel Face,” Dabi chuckled, snatching her chin until she was facing him again, “this’ll be a lot easier for you if you do.”
Then he dropped to his knees before her.
“W-what are you doing?”
“Gotta Pat you down, Hummingbird,” Dabi explained with a lazy smirk up at her. “I’m sure your man is trying to keep tabs on you. Just a matter of finding the feather.”
His hands were warm causing goosebumps to rise on her skin as they trailed up her calves and between her thighs. Dabi stopped his touch just as his index finger brushed across the slit of her sex.
He repeated the action along her other leg letting his hands linger on her thighs and heating them slowly.
“Stop.” Miku whimpered.
His laugh was taunting as His hands worked the short dress up Miku’s thick hips.
“Not done yet, sweetheart.” His smile widened. “Ooh I see those pretty wings of yours flexing. Too bad, baby, those are quirk repressing cuffs.” He bit his lip as he eyed the trail of trimmed white pubic hair before him.
Standing to his feet, the man snatched the top of her dress down.
“Nothing here, either hm?” He squeezed her big breasts harshly.
A choked yelp escaped Miku’s mouth.
“Damn, Angel Face,” Dabi grinned, it was sinister and probing, and somehow felt even more invasive than his wandering hands. “Maybe I should do a cavity search. Hm? Gotta say, I like feisty types like you. So much more fun to break.”
She could only respond with Shallow, shaky breaths.
She couldn’t move.
She couldn’t fight.
She couldn’t fly!
Just as she felt her fluttering heart about to give out on her, the anklet she wore broke. He heart shaped charm attached, clattered to the floor as large shadowy tendrils manifested from it.
Miku blinked, dazed as she watched the pair of smoky, phantom like limbs snatch Dabi’s lanky body up like a rag doll.
The ghostly hands wrapped around his body easily and slammed him into the stone wall, just beside Miku. The woman shrieked as the impact of his head colliding into the wall echoed in the dank room.
Dabi slid to the floor unconscious and crumpled at her feet.
“Boss!”
She looked up at the stairs not recognizing the dark haired teen in the doorway. He looked like a mini Dabi with his piercings and black mop of hair.
His dark eyes widened at the sight of his boss and the shadow hands.
“What the—“
The large tendrils snatched him up too. In a fast, fluid motion, they knocked the teen unconscious as well.
And just as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared.
It took Miku a moment to process what had just happened. Konan’s protection charm. It had bought her some time.
Her captors were now sprawled unconscious at her feet, and a set of keys were attached to Dabi’s belt.
Miku was running blind through the halls of what she now realized was a lab of some sort. Fluorescent lighting lit up the cold, sterile floors. Medical rooms filled with machines, devices, and tanks could be seen through the glass panels.
She had no idea how long Dabi and his sidekick would be knocked out nor how long that locked metal door would hold them, but she wanted to put as much space between herself and them as possible.
As she ran through the labyrinth like halls, she pulled off her remaining shoe—the other had been ditched in the basement with Dabi—and pulled out the now sticky and ruffled red feather. She ran her fingers along the barbs and held it up to her lips.
“Keigo,” she huffed rounding the corners of the hallways, “Kei, I don’t know if you can hear me, but I really need you right now. Dabi’s got me at some...fucking...fuck.” She looked around the long halls and maze of locked metal doors, in a panic. “Underground lab or...I don’t know. I...just—Please, please come quick.”
With that final plea, she snapped the feather in two.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The distressed vibrations of Miku’s voice hummed through Keigo’s feathers. There was over 500 miles between them, but he could parse out the unique cadence of her voice easily.
Konan’s voice crackled through his headphones, her voice just barely cutting through the whistling wind.
“Keigo!” The Latina’s voice exclaimed.
“I’m here, Ko,” he pressed the headphone harder against his ear, trying to hear her better. “You got a read on Miku?”
“When her charm broke my signal showed that she’s at some location underground. On the far outskirts of Tokyo.”
Konan rattled off the coordinates, but Keigo didn’t recognize the location. Regardless, he pushed himself to fly harder.
“I should be there is less than fifteen minutes,” Konan explained, “you?”
“If I book it any harder maybe twenty or less. Ko, do everything to keep her safe.”
“No doubt. Over and out.”
The line went dead. Keigo couldn’t breathe.
The entire world blurred before his eyes.
This was his fault. Miku shouldn’t be in this situation.
His mistakes. His fuck ups. His negligence.
It was going to get someone he loved—
Fuck!
His speed tripled.
He was going to kill that son of a bitch. Fuck Tartarus. Fuck detaining. Fuck his years of training. Todoroki Touya was going to die today.
The Underground Agenda (BNHA Mafia AU +18)
Pt. 8 Anything Goes
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Shinya ran towards the gunfire until he reached the back of Hawks’ stadium. Behind the dumpsters several feet away from the dumpsters. Two of the students they mentored were in a stand off.
Kaiji was a new recruit. The small, fourteen year old orphan stood over a cowering Rio Hizashi, a seventeen year old Latino student, was on the ground at Kaiji’s feet.
“I told you man,” Rio stammered, “I-I don’t got anymore!”
“Bullshit!”
Shinya stood back on the other side of the dumpster, leaning in when Kaiji’s cracking voice lowered to a harsh whisper.
“I know Dabi was runnin’ through the neighborhood today, and I know you knew that too. I’ll pay you back.”
Rio straightened up some. “Like I’m gonna believe an asshole with a gun in my face!” He shot back. “I told you I ain’t got anymore!”
“You mother fuck—“
Shinya‘s foot connected with Kaiji’s hand painfully.
“Ah!” The teen cried out, dropping the gun only for his wrist to be wrenched behind his back.
“Dammit!” Kaiji cursed, turning to look at his mentor. The teen deflated when his angry brown eyes met Shinya’s stern, dark grey ones.
“You boys mind telling me what the hell is going on here?” The man asked, glaring between the two teens.
Both boys avoided his gaze until Rio pulled himself to his feet and spoke first.
“Nothin’.” The Latino boy murmured.
Shinya’s brow quirked. “It didn’t sound like nothing. What were you holding out on, Rio?” He tried again. Then his eyes landed on a piece of candy. He leaned down to scoop it up. “What’s this?” He asked.
“Just candy.” Rio replied, quick and smooth, but he was still avoiding Shinya’s eye.
Shinya turned to the younger teen, holding it in front of his grimacing face. “Was this what you wanted so bad, Kaiji?”
The boy shrugged, glaring at the ground.
“I see,” Shinya hummed. “How ‘bout you two give me any of this ‘candy’ you seem to love so much if you have any on you. And I recommend doing it of your own free will,” the silver haired man pocketed the candy. “Don’t make me have to search you.”
“But it’s just-“
“I said what I said.” Shinya snapped, cutting off the kid’s complaints. He let go of Kaiji to allow the kid to pull out his one ‘candies’ while Rio handed over five.
Shinya pocketed them all.
“Now,” he grabbed both of their forearms, “let’s get you two home—and don’t think Hawks won’t hear about this later.”
At the mention of their mentor, the boys shot him fearful looks. Their gazes tugged at Shinyo’s heartstrings, but he had to be fair and enforce the rules of their program.
“Shin, please!”
“We were just-“
“I don’t wanna hear it. You two shouldn’t even be out here. It’s well past curfew for both of you, now be quiet.”
He took them to Sakamata and told the man to take them home.
Once they were taken care of, Shinya eyed the ‘candies.’ They were almost like hard candies, wrapped up in generic wax paper. Tentatively, Shinya sniffed it. They did smell faintly sweet, but certainly not like any candy he’d ever had.
With a frown, Shinya pulled out his cellphone to text Hawks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rappa saw stars as Muscle hit him with another haymaker. He stumbled back, but quickly evaded the next punch.
Rappa shook his sweat slicked bangs out of his face.
“Fuck! You don’t stop do ya man?”
A manic grin stretched across the blonde’s face.
“I’ll stop when I’m dead!” He smirked, lunging for his opponent again. “But I gotta say; thanks for being my first real competition of the night, man. Ya almost got me breakin’ a sweat.”
“Tch!” Rappa smirked back. “Looks to me like you got that steroid sweat goin’ on already, bruh.”
Muscle’s grin faltered, giving Rappa an opening for a series of punches that knocked the man back. Muscle recovered easily.
“That ain’t adrenaline pumpin my man,” Rappa continued to goad him.
A satisfying CRACK rang out through the stadium as his fist collided with Muscle’s jaw. He had gotten the man to the ground, and quickly climbed on top of him.
Rappa smirked down at the man’s glowering face before adding: “That’s those junky jitters.” With that, he pummeled the man’s face until the floor was splattered with blood.
“OH! WE HAVE A NEW WINNER!” The announcer boomed above the screaming above the crowd. “OUR NEW AUDIENCE MEMBER HAS DEFEATED THE FORMIDABLE MUSCLE!”
Hawks, Miku, Konan, and Mirko were on their feet cheering. Rappa held a fist proudly in the air, wearing a broad grin. Muscle was sprawled out at his feet, knocked unconscious.
“Holy shit!” Mirko laughed. “He whooped him!”
“Fuck that was hot.” Konan smirked as she watched the burly man wipe the sweat and blood from his face.
“Well, Ms. Senbasa,” Hawks grinned at the queen pin, “I owe you and your man big time. That big son of a bitch was about to cost me and my fighters a fortune.”
Konan shot him a smug look. “Oh trust me, I’ll come collect on that favor.”
Rappa fought one more match against one of Hawks’ fighters and lost before he headed back up to the booth with a towel slung around his shoulders.
Hawks greeted the man with an outstretched fist. “I owe ya one, man, on God.”
“Damn sure do,” Rappa dapped him up. “Especially considering I had to go up against two dope heads back to back.”
“What?”
“Dope heads?”
Konan and Miku piped up at the same time.
Hawks’ blonde brows furrowed. “What do you mean?”
Rappa gave him an incredulous look. “Are you kiddin’ me man? You’ve been in the business for how long? And you can’t spot a user when you see em? The first guy, Muscle was definitely jacked up on something in addition to the roids he’s obviously using. And your guy had the same jitters about him.”
“Excuse me?” Konan crossed her arms and turned to Hawks. “Is This the kind of operation you’re running, Hawks?” Konan asked.
“What? Hell no!” Hawks shook his head wearing a wide eyed expression. “This is news to me too.”
“You really expect me to believe that?”
“Aye look man,” Rappa cut in, “I know what I know. And I know for a fact those two dudes were hopped up on some kind of performance enhancer or something. If I were you, I’d pull your guy out of the ring or you’re gonna end up havin the same problem with him that you did with that Muscle guy.”
“Hey, he did say anything goes around here.” Mirko shook her head.
“I’m telling y’all, we don’t allow that shit here.” Hawks snapped, defensively.
“Please,” Konan stood, cocking her hip, rolling her magenta eyes. “You think I’m actually gonna believe the guy who disrespects other people’s districts for a coin actually has any integrity?”
“Konan I-“
She held up a manicured hand to his face. “Save it, Takami. You can put your people and your district at risk, but you will not do that to ours. Let’s go everyone. Takami, I’ll be expecting a seventy percent cut of whatever Rappa won for his fight.” She snapped her fingers, and the group filed out one by one behind her.
Miku was the last to leave and shot Hawks an apologetic look on the way out. “Sorry Hawks. I’ll try to talk to her.” She whispered.
He grabbed her wrist before she could leave.
“Angel,” he slipped something out of his pocket and slid it into her hand. A charming smile rested on his face and he brought the back of Miku’s hand to his lips, pressing a kiss against it. “I’ll see you soon, beautiful.”
“Miku!” Konan called out from the bottom of the stairs.m
“Coming!” She called back before finally leaving Hawks’ booth.
Konan ordered an uber as the foursome left the arena.
“Sucks we had to leave early,” Mirko remarked, throwing her hands up behind her head. “I was actually having fun.”
“That’s cuz you weren’t the one getting pummeled by roid rats.”
Rappa threw an arm around her shoulder.
“Eww!” Mirko wrinkled her button nose and wiggled out of his his sweaty grasp.
“You seemed to be enjoying yourself,” Konan laughed. “Especially when you were whaling on that Muscle guy.”
“That asshole deserved it. He was destroying those guys.”
As her friends continued to talk, Miku discreetly pulled out the folded paper Hawks had handed her on the way out.

Pt.23 Hawks x Dabi
((Hawks x Miku ((OC))
(GIF by: @dendriticheep)
(Yo I’mma be completely honest, Dabi’s motivation for fucking up Keigo’s life is mad petty and the side story is flimsy as hell, 😂)
Miku was in Tokyo shooting a promotional photoshoot for her tour. She was excited to get started on what would be the first major milestone of her career, and couldn’t wait for her tour.
Of course she hadn’t told Keigo any of this. No, he was stuck getting his updates from Twitter stalking and her online interviews.
After a week of tracking leads all over Fukouka, Keigo still hadn’t heard from her. He was on his one hundredth unanswered call, and thirtieth unanswered text. And if he was being honest? He deserved it.
There was a pained tug in his chest when he saw the candid shot of her smiling and waving to the camera as she entered a rehearsal space. Most of her face was obscured by a huge pair of sunglasses and her hair was tied up in a silk scarf, but she looked good.
He exited the article to tap on her contact.
Keigo: Angel I hope ur staying safe. Can we please talk?
Before he could add any more, his feathers prickled from the sudden movement happening in the warehouse. His golden eyes lifted towards the old building. They were moving something. Something big.
He squinted against the moonlight to watch the five men hustling large crates out the back of the warehouse.
His deep red wings stretched and carried him swiftly and quietly from the adjacent building to the top of the warehouse to get a better look. He shot off a few of his feathers and smirked with satisfaction at when he heard the henchmen’s bodies thudding against the walls. His sharp feathers pinned three of the goons to the wall of the warehouse, but the other two guys were fighting hard against him.
He winced as he felt the heat of their fire quirks shooting back at them. Keigo detached a few more to give the other feathers back up.
The moment he pinned the last two minions, the air around him changed. His wings twitched against the cool breeze as he scanned the ground. The men were all down for the count.
That was quick.
“You gotta get some better henchmen, Dabi.”
“Well, good help is hard to come by now a days, Birdie.”
The familiar raspy voice made him shiver. He turned around, stone faced.
Aside from the undercut and new facial piercings nothing had changed about his ex. He was the same brooding, alternative asshole he’d always been. Difference was, Keigo didn’t find it attractive anymore.
Dabi smirked at the hero.
“Miss me, babe?” He teased.
“Bold of you to face me like this, you son of a bitch.”
Dabi clicked his tongue and stepped closer to Keigo whose wings flexed out defensively.
He scoffed. “You and that girl of yours really are birds of a feather. She did the same thing when I stepped to her. So flighty you avian types. How’s she doin’ by the way? Heard she’s having a concert pretty soon-“
“What are you trying to do, Dabi?” Keigo interrupted, ignoring the man’s attempts to get under his skin.
“The usual, Hawks,” he spat back, “trying to take down this fucked up hero system that you seem so determined to keep intact.”
Keigo didn’t know why Dabi was blabbering so much. Usually he did it to prepare his body for an attack so as not to over exert his powerful quirk—but he wasn’t trying to attack.
“And how do you think you’ll do that?” Keigo shot back. “You don’t have the power or the vision that Shigaraki had, and you damn sure don’t have the numbers.” He scoffed. “Your henchmen are pathetic, those little nomu experiments are weak—face it, Dabi, you’ve got nothing. You’re fighting a useless battle.”
Dabi’s smirk melted into a smile. It was intimate and soft and...familiar. It took Keigo back to late nights spent laughing and rolling around in warm, tattered sheets. Secrets and insecurities being shared behind closed doors.
“It’s cute when you do that.” Dabi practically cooed.
The avian squinted his golden eyes, but said nothing.
Dabi was so close to him now that only an arm’s length separated them. The villain reached out to grab Keigo’s chin. His touch was so gentle it took the man by surprise.
“You can’t change a system from within a system. That’s why I’m on your side, Touya.”
Keigo’s breath caught hearing those words. One of the many empty promises he had made to the man he used to love.
“But you lied, Keigo...you lied.” He shook his head, slowly, his turquoise eyes piercing right through the man. “And I feel bad for that girlfriend of yours. She doesn’t know half of what kind of man you really are.”
The hero remained stoic, despite the pang in his chest. He knocked Dabi’s hand away from his face, grabbing the man’s wrist and twisting it sharply.
Dabi’s unblemished skin pulled from his burned flesh at the force. The blood from his staples ran down Keigo’s gloved hand.
“What makes you think I won’t take you out right now?” Keigo ground out.
Just like that, the twisted smirk was back. “Because hero, you’re going to be a little distracted.”
Keigo’s brows furrowed, and before he could grasp the meaning behind Dabi’s words, the first explosion went off.
At that moment, Dabi’s quirk activated sending a fiery blast at Keigo’s face.
The heat was unbearable.
Fuck!
He stumbled back, disoriented.
“Well, babe, it was good seeing you again.” Dabi jeered as he walked backwards towards the edge of the building. “Bye for now.”
With that, he jumped backwards, leaving Keigo alone to deal with several burning buildings and a horde of winged dog beasts flying towards him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A pair of disdainful magenta eyes glared back at him. The curvy Latina glared at him, arms crossed.
“You look like shit.”
“I feel like it.” He replied, scratching his tangled blonde locks.
Konan appraised him a few seconds longer. It felt like minutes. Keigo averted her scrutinizing gaze. She tilted her head over her shoulder.
“Miku! Bird Brain’s here!”
She stepped out of the way to make way for Miku. Keigo felt her coming. Her heart pounded as she flew down the stairs. His own heartbeat sped up as well.
Finally, Miku stood before him wide eyed and disheveled as she looked him over.
“Keigo...”
He gave her a soft, rueful smile.
“Hey Angel.”
She reached towards his bandaged face tentatively then stopped, as if thinking better of it and dropped her hand to her side.
Keigo flashed her a cheeky grin.
“It feels worse than it looks. Trust me.”
She bit her lip, brows still scrunched in worry.
He sighed, shoulders drooping on the exhale. “I owe you one hell of an apology and an explanation.”
“Roof?” She asked.
“Roof.” He nodded.
The couple sat side by side, legs swinging over the edge. The weight of his Keigo’s confession about his sordid past and relationship with Dabi was wedged between them.
“There was no good reason for me not to tell you about Dabi. Especially knowing he was still out there, and that he could hurt you. I was ashamed. I’m a hero. I was supposed to know better than to fall for a villain. I’m the reason he’s still free. When we made the bust, I gave Dabi a way out. Like an idiot.”
“Like a fool in love.” Miku corrected. “Love makes people do stupid things, Kei. I’ll give you that, but-“
“But it’s not an excuse.” He shook his head, glaring down at the driveway below. “I indirectly put you in danger by lying to you. Knowing what I knew I had no right to get mad at you about you and Konan’s relationship-“
“Not necessarily true.” Miku turned to him. “You were right to be upset with me,” then her tone grew stern, “but you were also an absolute hypocrite...and an asshole.”
Keigo flinched, but nodded in agreement. “You’re right.”
“But, I am glad you’re honest to me now.” She added. He heard a smile in her voice. It was small, but it was there.
“Yeah,” he allowed a smile to creep through in his own. “I am too.”
Silence settled between them. It wasn’t awkward, but it wasn’t comfortable either. Sort of like the conversation.
“Miku,” Keigo started, she turned to him. “Is there any way you can postpone your tour?”
“No.”
He winced again.
“Baby, this isn’t a game.” Keigo pressed on. “You saw what happened in Fukuoka.”
The chaos of the fires and Dabi’s discount Nomu burned in the back of Keigo’s mind. By the time backup had arrived, his wings were whittled away to nothing trying to handle the situation, and the warehouses were crumbling beneath the blue flames. Keigo’s burns tingled at the memory.
“Dabi is dangerous, and he doesn’t fight fair.” He laid a hand on top of hers. It was the first contact they had made since he’d arrived. “Miku,” his voice cracked under the weight of his nerves, “Dabi would do anything to hurt me, and that includes hurt you. You need to be careful.”
She didn’t meet his gaze. Her eyes were zeroed in on his hand on top of hers, face screwed in contemplation.
“I’ll be more careful, but I refuse to put off my tour.”
He shook his head. “You’re being stubborn, Angel.”
“I’m not gonna live my life in a cage, Kei,“ she replied, clutching his hand in return. “I have a job to do and I’m gonna do it.”
“Angel...” he admonished. He softened his tone. “Please.”
Miku rolled her eyes.
She sighed, sounding like an indignant teenager. “If it makes you feel any better, I’ll beef up my security whenever I go out.”
Keigo chuckled in defeat. “That’s the best I’m gonna get out of you, isn’t it?”
“Yup!” She exclaimed.
“Dammit Angel.” Keigo fought off the smile threatening to ruin the disapproval he was trying to project. “Fine. I’ll take it.”
He plucked another feather from his plumage and handed it to her. “For backup. Please keep them on you at all times, and if anything happens—“
“Break them,” Miku interjected. “I know, Kei, I got it.”
He allowed his face to soften some.
“I miss you, Angel.” He confessed.
Her expression fell.
“I miss you too, Kei, but I’m still not-“
“It’s ok.” He cut in, gently. “You don’t have to forgive me.”
Miku’s gaze fell back down to their intertwined fingers.
“Just...give me time—and space. Ok?”
He nodded. His fingers danced beneath her chin. Keigo tilted her face up to meet his, and managed a smile.
“Deal.”
(Miku is stubborn😝 but I love her)
Sex Shop (Edgeshot x Fan!Reader)
(Hoevember Day 19)
Kamihara Shinya aka Edgeshot found this whole thing utterly ridiculous. He could have been at home enjoying tea and sudoku, but instead he was here. Why? Pure curiosity.
If the powers that be were going to release sex toys based on the top 20 hero line up, he may as well make sure they were—ahem—representing him correctly...right? Yeah...that was all. He just wanted to make sure it was true to size.
That was why he was slinking into a sex shop called: Fuzzy Peach at two in the morning in a black face mask and black button down with his silver hair tied in a low bun.
A gum snapping older woman with tasteful makeup and a mousy bob smiled at him as he came in.
“Welcome to Fuzzy Peach! You looking for the new hero line?”
“Y-yes ma’am.” Shinya replied, changing the pitch of his voice halfway through.
He wasn’t sure if it helped or not, but the woman seemed to be none the wiser as she pointed him towards a huge display case in the center of the shop.
Shinya’s brow quirked.
“Well, you certainly made sure that no one could miss it, huh?”
“Oh yeah, it’s been our biggest hit since it dropped. It was smart of you to come at this time of night. The lines earlier were ridiculous!”
He scoffed in response.
“Anyway, let me know if you have any questions!”
With that, the woman left the incognito hero alone to browse the obnoxiously huge hero display.
All the pros were accounted for. There was a thick and veiny cobalt blue and orange for Endeavor, a shorter, thick tan toy for Hawks, he spotted a flesh light with white fuzz for Mirko, and something similar for Mt. Lady, but with different details.
The man snickered quietly.
“This is absurd.” He whispered. “People are really buying these?” He marveled.
And then he spotted his own. It was on the thinner side, long and slightly curved. There were a few prominent veins running along it and of course it was in his hero colors.
The man’s brows furrowed as a frustrated little knot formed in his chest.
“They got the width all wrong. Unsavory merch line, the least they could do is make it true to size.”
A small giggle sounded from behind him. Shinya whipped around in surprise, eyes widening when they landed on the stranger.
“You must be quite the hero enthusiast.” The stranger smiled. “You a big Edgeshot fan, too?”
“Oh—“ he was thrown off guard. “He didn’t know why he hadn’t expected anyone else to frequent the sex shop so late at night. After all, wasn’t this the sole purpose of it?
It took Shinya a moment to find his voice, especially as he watched you bend over to grab the Edgeshot toy. Your ass was perfectly outlined in a pair of textured workout joggers.
“I Ah..” he shook himself out of it. “Let’s just say I have a vested interest in Edgeshot.”
“Mmm, big fan too huh?”
“Too?”
You nodded as you picked up the box with his face on it.
“Yeah, Edgeshot my favorite hero. He’s efficient and skillful, and he always seems levelheaded in critical situations. I admire that in a person.”
Shinya was grateful for the mask covering the majority of his face or else his blush would have been highly visible. he was in the top 10 it wasn’t like he had a shortage of fans, but it was rare for him to have an intimate conversation with one of them. Let alone one so beautiful who just happened to be holding a replica of his manhood. For a moment he imagined what it would look like going inside you. He wondered if you would enjoy it.
“Well, I hope he lives up to your expectations.” He tapped his finger on the box.
You giggled again. What an adorable sound.
“Oh I’m sure he will.” You eyed the disguised hero slowly. “That is if he would be interested in going home with me.”
He felt as if his dark grey eyes might pop out of his head as the suggestive comment sank in.
“You—you knew?”
“Of course I knew,” you winked, “I am your biggest fan. The name is l/n f/n by the way, and it’s nice to meet you.”
Shinya swallowed the nervous lump in his throat.
“Nnice to meet you too, y/n.”
“So,” you smirked, “are you gonna take me up on that offer or are you gonna make me have to buy this toy?”
Shinya grabbed the dildo from your hands and set it back on the shelf.
“I know a nice hotel not too far from here with a restaurant.” He smiled, slowly. “I think you may need the energy.”
Seems as if this silly merch line might have been worth it after all.
BNHA Mafia AU Pt.7
Across Enemy Lines
(These people are disgustingly rich and I hate it...)
Hawks’ stadium was a large—mostly nondescript—brick building, save for the giant red hawk painted on the front along with ‘Hawks’ Sports Center’ written in blocky black lettering.
A line of people wrapped around one side of the building, weaving their way through the black ropes to get in the double doors; While a much smaller line of VIPs entered through a side door.
Konan, Miku, Mirko, and Rappa unloaded from the Range Rover limo that Hawks had sent for them dressed in their best designer.
Miku hooked an arm through Konan’s, leaning into her to whisper: “I can’t believe you agreed to do this.”
“The asshole is treating us to dinner after this,” Konan explained a bit wearily. “Who am I to turn down free food and a show?”
“Bold of him to step back on our turf to invite you here personally after what happened.” Mirko chuckled. “You gotta give it to the dude; he has balls.”
“I’m fuckin’ psyched!” Rappa exclaimed, suddenly. “I heard almost anything goes at these matches. I wonder if Hawks really lets audience members enter the ring?” The giant brunette man pondered as he began punching the air.
He was so caught up in his one sided fist fight, that he didn’t notice the much smaller figure in front of him until he’d shoved right past the man.
“Oi! What’s your problem?!” A gruff, scratchy voice exclaimed
The group turned to face a wild eyed, ruddy faced middle aged man. He glared at Rappa with an accusatory scowl on his sweaty face.
“Oh, sorry my guy!” Rappa apologized, “I didn’t see you there.”
“Oh! Is that supposed some sort of crack at my height?” The man sputtered.
“Umm, no,” Rappa looked puzzled as he scratched his head. “I just...didn’t see you—“
“You wanna go big man?!” The squat stranger snapped, puffing out his chest. “Huh? YOU WANNA FUCKIN GO?!”
The group gawked at the stranger’s conduct in utter bewilderment.
Rappa held up his hands, an easy going smile on his face. “Buddy, look, I don’t want any trouble with you.”
“YEAH, WELL YOU GOT TROUBLE! BIG MAN!” The man stepped up to him, he barely reached past Rappa’s torso. “BIG GUYS LIKE YOU ALWAYS PICK ON THE LITTLE GUYS LIKE ME! WELL IM NOT AFRAID OF YOU-“
He reeled his pudgy fist back, but before Rappa could embarrass the man, a bulky black security guard snatched him up in a full Nelson.
“Alright, little man, that’s enough.” The weary looking guard said.
The short man kicked and fought tirelessly against the black man’s hold until two other guards joined their side.
The black guard tossed the troublesome attendee towards his co-workers.
“Get him off the premises,” he sighed. Then he turned back to the group wearing a tired, but apologetic smile. “Sorry about that y’all. This kind of atmosphere tends to get to folk’s heads. For some reason, they end up thinking they’re the fighters.”
“No problem man,” Rappa smiled, dapping him up. “I’m a bodyguard myself, so I understand.”
The men laughed. “Anyway, what can I do for you folks?”
Konan stepped forward. “We’re guests of Hawks. Konan Senbasa.” She explained.
“Ah! Right! You guys are on the list. Follow me.”
He led the crew to the front of the VIP line, unclipping his walkie from his belt loop to page Hawks.
“Yo, Hawks, your party of four is here.”
“Thanks Sakamata. Bring them back.” Hawks’ deep voice replied.
The man known as Sakamata held the door for them and nodded Over his shoulder urging them to enter.
The hallways leading into the stadium were brightly lit and bustling. Photos of previous matches and championship belts lined the walls and in the Center was a large display case of trophies.
Hawks greeted them immediately in the busy hall, flanked on either side by two large body guards.
“Welcome to the Takami Sports Center!” His exclaimed with a proud smile, arms spread wide. “Glad you all could make it. Follow me, I’ll give ya’ll the tour.”
He led him through a set of double doors and into the main arena where the matches would take place. The noise was deafening even at half the capacity.
Hawks waved around the large room, before stuffing his hands in his jeans pockets. ““This is it, the main attraction. Not much to it.”
“Not much to it?” Mirko scoffed. “Dude this place is massive!”
Indeed it was. A large set of monitors displaying the stage hovered over the circular fighting cage which was covered in Hawks’ signature double H logo and surrounded by mesh netting. The cushioned seats surrounding the stage in also had his signature on it and even more seating led up into the rafters.
Hawks chuckled.
“I didn’t say it wasn’t, I just said there wasn’t much to it,” he nodded, “come on, I’ve got something to show you.”
He led them to a door at the back of the stadium, up a flight of stairs, and into a darkened room.
“Welcome to the VIP booth.” The man smirked as he clicked on the light.
“Woah...” Mirko and Miku hummed as they stepped into the room.
Even Konan was admittedly impressed.
The VIP booth was sectioned off behind a glass panel which showcased the entire floor of the stadium. Surround sound speakers pumped in the noise so that they wouldn’t miss the action. Rows of soft, leather theater chairs lined up on the slightly elevated floor so that the guests behind the front row could see the view unobstructed.
“Holy shit, man, this is plush!” Rappa exclaimed, heading over to a fridge at the far back of the room. “You even got somethin to sip on in here.”
“Hey, what can I say?” Hawks shrugged, sliding up behind Miku, slyly. “I take good care of my company.”
Konan frowned at his wandering hand, smacking it away from Miku’s bottom.
The dark skinned woman giggled as the man pouted back at Konan.
“Anyway, you all kick back relax. The show is just about to begin.”
“Man, I’m tellin’ ya, these bougie fucks are snatching up our shit like candy.” Dabi bragged as he puffed his joint.
He’d just watched Bruno, one of their loyals, be dragged off the premises by two bouncers. He shook his head. Man couldn’t handle his Skyy.
“Only problem is the security out here ain’t no joke. I’ll probably only be able to stay out here another hour.”
“Fine man. The fights are starting up anyway. Do what you gotta do and I’ll see you back at the spot.”
“Bet.”
With that, Shigaraki hung up on Dabi and turned to his short line up of fighters.
Twice was swinging at a punching bag wearing a pair of headphones and muttering to himself, while his only female fighter, Magna, pumped weights on the bench.
They had managed to get Magna into the men’s category to her delight, and Shigaraki had a lot riding on her success. But their secret weapon was the man only known as Muscle aka Muscular.
The six foot seven muscle bound beast of a man was currently hitting the punching bag so hard that the chain suspending it from the ceiling rattled violently every time. Surrounding fighters shot him nervous looks as they walked by.
“Easy there killer,” Shigaraki chuckled, scratching at his neck. “Save that energy for the matches.”
“Can’t help it, boss man,” Muscle chuckled, darkly. “I gotta get my hands on somethin’ before I burst, man! This is the best shit I’ve ever had.”
“Keep it down, you idiot!” Shigaraki snapped under his breath.
Muscle stopped, turning to him with a glassy gleam in his wild blue eyes.
“Gimme another one.” He demanded.
“Hell no,” Shigaraki scowled, “what, do you wanna knocked out before you step in the ring?” He lowered his voice and stepped closer to the man. “Look, you got enough shit in your system to hold that high through every match. Win ‘em all, and there’s more where that came from, got it?”
“Tch!” Muscular clicked his tongue, turning his attention back to the punching bag. “Man with the way I’m feelin’, I could win all the matches five times over.”
As if to prove his point, his next punch shot straight through the heavy bag, spilling the contents all over the stone floor.
The ash blonde tank of a man swung a devastating right hook to one of Hawks’ fighters, taking advantage of his lowered guard.
The crack of flesh against flesh was visceral and a collective: “Ohhh!!!” Rang out through the audience.
“God DAMMIT!” Hawks snapped, throwing his empty liquor glass at the wall. It cracked on impact.
“AAAAND RAIFE IS DOWN WITH A DEVASTATING RIGHT HOOK FROM MUSCLE!”
“That’s the fifth K.O. in a row, Takahiro-San! It seems Hawks’ usual champions are no match against this formidable new comer.”
The announcers exclaimed.
“That dude is a monster.” Mirko shook her head, disbelievingly.
“He’s a fucking nightmare is what he is,” Hawks replied standing to his feet. “I had money riding on all of those guys he’s taken out.”
Miku squinted as she watched him shrug out of his black blazer and v-neck shirt until he was in nothing but a white wife beater.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
He glanced down at her with a half smile as he removed the gold rings and watch.
“I’m ‘bout to go handle business, mama. I need that fucker out of the ring.”
“You can do that?” She asked, surprised.
“My name is on the building baby,” he chuckled, “I can do whatever I want. Almost anything goes at a Hawks fight.”
“Oh shit!” Rappa’s brown eyes gleamed excitedly. “So you really do let anybody enter the ring?!”
“Anybody that meets the requirements my dude.” Hawks handed Miku his jewelry absentmindedly.
“Dude, you gotta let me fight this guy.” Rappa stood.
“You want to?”
“Hell yeah! I’ve been itching for a good fight all night. I’ll handle that asshole for you no problem.”
Hawks cocked a brow. “I’d like to man, but I don’t wanna be accused of stealing the queen’s guard again.” He aimed a pointed look at Konan.
“Come on, Koko, let me take this guy out.” Rappa pleaded, turning to his boss.
She looked between him and Hawks before rolling her eyes.
“Fiiine, fuck,” she groaned. “But you owe me,Takami.”
“Yes!” Rappa exclaimed. “Thanks Boss Lady.”
“Alright then, big man,” Hawks clapped the much larger man on the back. “Let’s get you to the floor so I can let the ref and announcers know the game plan.”
((Hawks x Miku ((OC))
Keigo was wiped out from the whiplash of his day. He wanted nothing more than to slip into a much needed sleep, but his anxiety wouldn’t allow it.
Instead he lie on his couch gazing up at the lazily spinning ceiling fan as he pondered what move Dabi could make next. Right now his pattern was spotty, but calculated. He only struck—it seemed—where Keigo wasn’t. Or more precisely, where Keigo had left.
“Fuck,” he muttered, sighing. He ran a hand over his face.
Just then, the doorbell rang; providing a much needed distraction from his worrying.
When he answered Miku’s wide lavender eyes greeted him.
“Angel, it’s been a long day—“ he groaned.
“Keigo, please,” she took a step forward. “Just hear me out. I promise I’ll be quick, ok?”
She stood under his tired stare ringing her hands nervously and gazing up at him with pleading eyes. He let out a defeated sigh.
“Ok.”
He stepped aside allowing Miku to enter, before heading right back for the couch.
Miku settled down next to him and folded her legs beneath herself. She held his weary gaze, her wings fluttering anxiously.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about me and Ko. I should have been transparent about it from the beginning. We both should have. You had every right to be upset. I guess I didn’t really consider it a big deal because...well...I don’t know,” she stared down at her hands neatly folded in her lap. “It’s just the way we are. The way we’ve always been, and I...I didn’t consider the way that may seem to an outsider looking in. Especially someone that I’m dating seriously. I mean, I,” she faltered, brows knitting as she searched for the right words. “I’ve never been in a real relationship before. Not one that took actual work anyway.”
Keigo stared at the wall ahead as his mind processed what she was saying.
“Ko and I sort of just fell into this pattern of a sexual and emotional situationship. It felt natural and convenient, but never like a priority. I guess we’re the textbook definition of friends with benefits. But I’ve never had to consider what that might look like to an outsider. Especially someone I‘m pursuing a steady relationship with. It was dishonest and-and there’s no excuse for it. Keigo,” she touched his knee, giving it a gentle squeeze. “I am so, so sorry. I really am.”
Keigo stared down at her hand for a few moments in contemplative silence. He gathered his thoughts carefully before he spoke.
“I’m fucked up over you, Angel.” He replied in a quiet voice. “I don’t care that you have some sort of relationship with Konan. That wasn’t even the problem. The problem is—was—the dishonesty for me—“
“I know,” she replied. “You deserved to know from the start. Kei,” Miku grabbed his hands and held them in her lap. He turned his full attention to her, knowing the minute he did, she would have him again. “I have feelings for you, Kei. I really really like you, and I don’t want to start our relationship off on dishonesty.”
Her hands were so soft...and warm. Just like her eyes and her voice and—fuck.
He really, really liked her too.
His gaze softened. Some of the anxiety had uncoiled itself in his gut.
“Apology accepted.”
Smiling, Miku brought his hands to her lips to brush a soft kiss along his knuckles.
With a little pout she asked; “Are you still mad at me?”
Keigo tried—and failed—to fight back his smile.
“Do you know how hard you are to be mad at, Angel? No, I’m not still mad at you.”
Miku grinned. Keigo’s wings fluttered.
“Wellll,” she slid closer to him, “in the spirit honesty, let’s play a little game.”
The blonde groaned. “You and you’re games again.”
“This ones easy,” she waved him off. “Tell me one thing about yourself. Anything at all, and I’ll do the same.”
“Anything, huh? Damn, Angel, that’s a tough one.“ He scratched the back of his head. His golden eyes rolled to the ceiling in thought.
“Ok, then I’ll go first.” Miku offered. “My favorite flowers are dandelions.”
Keigo’s expression grew puzzled.
“Dandelions?”
“Mhm. I like when they’re in the pappus phase. That’s the stage when they’re white and fluffy.”
“You’re talking about the weeds right?” Keigo quizzed.
“Nooo, I’m talking about the flowers.” Miku corrected him.
“Those are weeds, babe...”
“No, they are not!”
An amused smile tugged at Keigo’s lips, and He cocked a brow.
“Ok no,” Miku straightened your on the couch, waving her hands in excitement. Keigo laughed. “People don’t understand just how special dandelions are. Ok, not only are they pretty and whimsical looking, but they also have medicinal properties, they can be used in cosmetics, and they’re completely edible. Dandelion salad? Delicious. Plus the seeds look like little people on parachutes. They’re not weeds. They’re uniquely packaged flowers.”
Miku sat back wearing a proud little smile. She gave her boyfriend an expectant look as if daring him to dispute her logic by adding something to the dandelion debate.
“I love you.”
Miku’s mouth fell open.
Keigo’s eyes widened as his statement registered.
“Fuck! I-I mean I...shit,” he cursed under his breath, mussing his hair in his frustration. “I’m sorry, Angel, I didn’t mean to make it awkward. Just...just forget what I said.”
“I don’t think that’s something I can overlook, Kei.” Miku replied.
She leaned forward until her lips landed on his. He melted into her immediately, but just as he started to deepen the kiss, Miku pulled back.
“Thank you for telling me how you feel about me.”
“But...”
“But I think I need a little more time before I throw out the ‘L’ word.” Muku replied.
Keigo nodded, wearing a small smile. “I understand.”
Miku hoisted herself off the couch and stretched.
“Well, I better head out. I promised Electra I’d be ready to talk tour first thing in the morning.”
He nodded as he walked her to the door.
“Hurry up then, something tells me breaking a promise to Electra is life or death.”
Miku laughed. He smiled, admiring her.
Once she quieted down, Keigo stroked her cheek.
“I’m glad you came, Angel.”
“Me too.”
“Good night.”
She smiled. “Night, Kei.”
