The full Music Festival Vibez line. Now, these girls are getting A LOT of hate do to the “animated” nature of their outfits which has led to us Bratzies, well… some of us, to voice their displeasure at the current state of MGA’s Bratz rebranding. I’m not sure most of you know what a music festival is like or if you know that the biggest flaw that ppl had with Bratz was their mature nature, which wasn’t mature to me at all, IMO. They took some risks (that jacuzzi), but for the most part they were pretty much relevant to the time. Yes, the new Bratz are kid-friendly, but do you think if MGA came out with Bratz emulating today’s teens they’d last a minute in the general public? They’d be torn to shreds. In this day & age of Mylies & Kylies, emulating current fashion would be a BIG RISK. You guys should’ve seen my little sister’s prom dress, geez… In fact, search #Prom2015 on Twitter and GAG at the maturity rating that should be on some of those pics. I, personally, LOVE all of them! Hell, I wish Sasha was even more “animated” and gave me some Azealia Banks Wireless Festival 2014 or Solange & Beyoncé Coachella 2014 kind of looks! You older Bratz fans are gonna have to suck it up. MGA is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG, except for the lack of articulation >__>. You’re not the target audience. You’re living on nostalgia, sweetie. And it seems like a lot of you are into the “glam” style (furs, shimmer, and smokey ey…well, everything) anyway. Ugh. Move on. The old Bratz looked high and bored, not to say that being high is a bad thing 😏, but I am thoroughly pleased with MGA’s Bratz rebranding and will be getting this ENTIRE line. Check the tags to see the festival types each girl coincides with. Xoxo 💋
What is it with people thinking that if you give Bratz constructive criticism and feedback you’re just a big meanie? We don’t hate the new Bratz, but there is a lot of improvement that needs to be made so that the brand doesn’t end for good. MFV isn’t getting hate due to the “animated” look of their clothes. We’re criticising the line because of the reused 2015 screening, which we thought we’d seen the last of, reused accessories, and tacky, cutesy clothes. I personally cannot stand Cloe’s pants. And seriously? Bratz being mature is their biggest flaw? Bratz were created to be mature in order to appeal to pre-teens and teens, and it worked. I don’t think today’s Bratz would appeal to middle and high schoolers because they’re so cutesy. That has to be the most ignorant statement about Bratz I’ve seen, coming from someone that considers themselves a fan. You love the new ones? Great. We’re not telling anyone that they can’t love them. But we’re not going to “suck it up” and not be critical of the brand we love. MGA isn’t without fault. Several times they have claimed that Bratz are still rebellious and disruptive, but that is just not the case. They look like any other brand right now. They don’t stand out. And if they don’t start standing out kids aren’t going to be interested. This is such an insult to Bratz. Calling them high and bored. We’re not moving on. Risky, edgy, disruptive worked for Bratz then, and it’ll work now if MGA would stop trying to make everything so cutesy and not worry about trying to make the dolls tech savvy. Bratz need to be interesting again, and so far they’re just not there yet.
Umm, giving constructive criticism and being downright disrespectful is 2 different things. You can have your preference over whatever you want, but what MGA is thinking needs to be done, they need to make that choice, not the “Bratty” lil OG fans. It’s disappointing to see so many grown men and women acting so negatively towards dolls, that aren’t even targeted towards you. If the rugged edgy and sexy is not what you want your kids to be exposed to, these fashions are more classy and kid friendly. Instead of thinking from a Older bratz stand point, think from a business standpoint. If parents aren’t buying edgy and sexy, maybe cute and colorful will work. Another MGA product, Lalaloopsy, was popular, and what are they? Cute. So do say that cutesy and colorful isn’t what needs to be done. Not saying that you’re being irrational and dusrespectful, but there are people or “Fans” who are being downright nasty. That’s not what needs to be going on. You older bratz fans need to chill tf out, cuz unless you’re in there making the dolls and owning MGA, you need to just gave several seats, you feel entitled over nothing
Because saying the old Bratz look high and boring isn’t disrespectful… Okay.
Honestly, did you read my criticism of MFV Sasha? I never compared her or the 2016 Bratz to the old Bratz, other than when I said I wished the new dolls were looking to the side. Otherwise, it’s all about her and how she has way too many reused accessories, among other grievances.
No, I don’t like the cutesy look of the new Bratz. The edgy look sold. They actually rattled Barbie. They didn’t appeal to soccer moms, and it worked. Kids loved them. They were new and different and pushed boundaries. Now they just blend in to all the other lines. What makes them special at this point? They need to differentiate themselves from other doll brands and stop being so worried about soccer moms. From a business standpoint, if Bratz continues to blend in, people won’t have any interest in them and MGA will have to discontinue them because they aren’t selling.
New fans are the ones that are telling old fans that we’re being mean, negative, disrespectful, overreacting… If we’re not critical of the brand it’s going to go away for good. And our criticisms aren’t just about comparing them to the old dolls. The new Bratz have problems that have nothing to do with the old dolls. We’re not entitled, we’re concerned for the brand.
The way some of the fans have lashed out against the fans of the new dolls makes me feel like you guys are entitled and spoiled, not saying you are, but that's how others have came across. I have met some pretty rude people on Instagram that are just talking about how ugly and disgusting these dolls look and that made me upset. I agree, as a fan of both old and new, the dolls probably can use a lil more spice, but not completely go back to how they used to be, because at some point that didn't work for them, that's why they had to rebrand a second time. Maybe a mix of the old and new will bring this to a close, but as a community we can't be arguing about which bratz are better. The bratz now are not as bad as people making it out to be, I actually like the new bratz, and will continue to like them. I love the older bratz as well. If I came off as aggressive, I apologize, those aggressive fans on Instagram have made me a lil on edge. Anyways, I just feel there's different ways to go about telling MGA you want something more edgy, instead of trashing the dolls that are out now. I feel they can be edgy and cute as well, not just sexy and edgy all the time.

I love this this is the art of our generation and I’m not even kidding
I could see this in a museum
I see a new galaxy. It is beautiful.
the worst is having a dream where someone loves you and you can practically feel them touching you and it feels so real and then you wake up and it’s like the life is being sucked out of you and the happiness just drains out of your body and you feel empty again
