I wanted to log my steps from yesterday so...

Hey there!
I’ve been away from the blog for a bit and not sticking to keto. I’ve found that strict keto may not be for me but taking some pieces from the keto - handbook may be the best solution for me. Not no carb but low carb, as much as possible, less bread, more water, etc.
I had a period of having candy and wine and things because I was actually on my period lol and I was going through the stress of getting an IUD and then a ultrasound of my left breast, to make sure the mass found isn’t cancerous. So yeah a lot going on... but I have been trying to bring soups to work for lunch and have chicken and potatoes or home cooked meals more.
But anyways, this morning, I woke up at 5:30, went to the gym at 6:00 and worked out for about 45 minutes. Just a light workout, nothing too rigorous. But I feel good about it! I showered, got dressed for work, got coffee and a bite to eat and now I’m at work!
Here’s my steps for the day (by the way, I upped my goal by 1k and now I have a goal of 7,000 a day!). I am already at 51% of my goal! 🙂💓

This title isn’t true, but self - depreciating haha.
I didn’t eat well yesterday, I mean, I ate GOOD, but not well. Haha
First meal of the day:
Coffee and two bites of a donut (BAD ALLIE!!!! 😈)
BUT then I had water and went to the gym for about 30 minutes and killed it on the stair - climber and treadmill and worked up a good sweat, got about 2k steps and then went home and went out with my bf.
Leaving home, I drank some of the blackberry/vanilla protein/MCT oil shake I made and then I had 3 chicken fingers and some fries at Steak N’ Shake … 😈
Then I had a couple sips of a Sierra Mist and guiltily threw it away haha, it actually wasn’t great anyways, WHO NEEDS SODA ?!
I had sushi (first time ever !) for dinner and a small glass of red wine and a vodka martini. 😬😬
But I GOT 11k steps!!
That’s my personal best, I believe.
I did change my Garmin watch goal to 6K, just because it’s more attainable – but of course, since I went to a meeting, then the gym, and walked around a lot yesterday, I got 11k!
So far I have had a medium coffee (again, not keto, with sugar…I know, I know), and I am drinking water…and I had a bacon wake - up wrap from dunkin. Good for keto, minus the wrap. Not sure if I even get a lunch at work today, but I may just try to have something delivered.
I have another Quest bar in my desk I saved from the other day, just in case I don’t get to eat or want something sweet.
So far my steps today are 572… haha..
Mid - day steps check. Not bad for only just walking to the restroom and in and out of the restaurant where I ordered my food and the grocery store and back into work ! 😂

So after last night’s binge I didn’t feel well, I was sluggish and tired.
This morning I had a (non- keto just black with Stevia) coffee and a green tea and just water up until now, it is 1:36 p.m. and I have gotten a nice Caesar salad with chicken and cheese and bacon crumbles with avocado! 🙂
I also got a Quest bar in case I want some chocolate or something later. And I have almonds and pumpkin seeds in my desk. 🙂

So today, I had lots of water and keto coffee again.
I had a protein bar, which wasn’t the best idea, as it had 13 g of sugar and about 16 carbs, but lunch was very successful!
I had a side salad and I had grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce with barbecue sauce, no bun.
But I was still running errands after work and I didn’t feel like cooking and besides that, I had no idea what to cook! I got McDonald’s... 😣 I had one McChicken, a medium fry and a 4 - piece nugget, still water but I figured if I’m cheating, might as well do it up... I ate the rest of the Pumpkin Spice cookies ... 😣 so lots of sugar and bread today.
Tomorrow my keto cookbook arrives and I am excited to learn more recipes and be more creative with food while still being healthy!

Here’s a brief update of today (I typed this all out and lost it once already!!!) .
Breakfast this morning :
(Not pictured) Keto Coffee
(Pictured below) Starbucks’ sous vide egg bites (cheese, egg and bacon) — so delicious ! And surprisingly filling ! Inspired to make these at home.
Lunch:
(Not pictured) Grilled chicken wrap, lettuce and cheese, no tortilla, chopped up and eaten, and a Caesar side salad without croutons !
Snack: a couple pieces of 70% cacao dark chocolate, raw almonds and pumpkin seeds.
Dinner: Another delicious turkey burger with cheddar and provolone on a lettuce wrap with bacon and olive oil mayo, pepper/pink salt, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes !
Not pictured, I also had 2 brown cage - free eggs with pink salt and pepper on the side!

Good afternoon,
This morning I had keto coffee for breakfast, no food.
Today I started a new job, and my boss bought me lunch so today I was a little bad and didn’t stick to the no - grain/ no - bread. I had a BLT with oat wheat bread, and one roll because how often does your boss buy you lunch on your first day ?
Tonight’s dinner and tomorrow I will be vigilant. 🙂
Not getting a ton of steps today, as this job is like my former job, another desk job. But here’s an update so far at 1:30 p.m.

Yay !!!! Over 50% of my goal was reached today ! Now it’s bed time and let’s see if I can get to 7k tomorrow ! 💕🙂
First Keto (homemade) Lunch
AMAZING ! This is my recipe for a turkey burger with cheddar cheese on a lettuce wrap bun with olive oil mayo and bacon ! Also having medium heat salsa on the side with yellow corn tortilla chips and water with lemon! 💪🏻✨🤤
Cooked with Kerrygold butter and coconut oil ! Also threw some freshly minced garlic clove in with the oil and salt/pepper !

20 mins on each, treadmill and cycle.
