the ashlesha experience is being hated and demonized for no reason the same way cats and snakes are
so anyone with spiritual knowledge that could help me understand… so near my house is a dead black bird and now today red ants infested clothes in the bedroom.. I’m going through some transitions with recent changes of home life, career, and overall trying to be better and find myself; to be happier and prepare my future. Lately dealing with struggles of patience and determination. Maybe I need a cleanse, probably... currently on my bathroom floor crying cause I’m overwhelmed and fire ant bites hurt like hell
꩜⋆.°⭑ ⬤ SHATABHISHA - GATEWAY OF OBLIVION ⬤ ⋆˚꩜。
"We are our own worst enemy, not just as individuals but more importantly as a group, as a family, as a society, as a country, as a world. We are afraid of the shadowy, mysterious 'other' that's gonna come and kill us... but what we're really afraid of is the thing we're suppressing: our sin, our guilt, our contribution to our own demise." - Director Jordan Peele (Shatabhisha Sun)
Shatabhisha Nakshatra is often cited to be one of the most difficult nakshatras to understand or break down due to its veiling qualities. However, I've been studying up on it and reading various books as well as observing how they manifest in movies and have begun to witness a common theme taking place which I will share today. But, to understand the nakshatra is to understand the deity which is Varuna, The All-Seeing God of Moral Judgement and Justice.
Varuna is a being who prioritizes cosmic order, to maintain balance through the use of laws and rules that reinforce societal growth and expectations. He is usually represented as having a thousand eyes like the stars above us, studying humanity's evolving nature and actions through the deployment of spies which is a work done in the shadows. In the picture above, he always carries a noose or a rope which symbolizes his power to punish those who choose to sin or disrupt the world but also allows redemption as a possibility if the guilty desire to come to terms with their faults. Another representation can also be connected to the depressive and isolating phases of Shatabhisha in which one makes an enemy out of themselves based on how they define their existence in this world. Do you live by the noose or die by the noose? That is Varuna's test.
Another key feature to add is that Shatabhisha's symbol is The Empty Circle. A single circle can have many different meanings, it all depends on your viewpoint and perspective of how you interpret it. Some may believe that it represents nothing at all or something contained in that space. Others may see it as a connection to an eclipse which coincides with eternal transformation and a moment of darkness. It can even be seen as like a dilated eye, watching you with an intense focus which goes back to Varuna and what he stands for.
However, in reality, it is actually all of the above. Being that Shatabhisha is known as The Veiling Star, it has the power to conceal what lies behind the illusory mask that is presented to you or reveal the truth that is right in front of your face. It is like attending a funeral with grandmothers who hide their faces behind a black veil or a wedding in which the bride's veil is removed from the groom, exposing what is underneath. Shatabhisha is the grey area in the middle, the one that stands between that internal death and the external bliss of life.
In modern ways of deciphering this, Shatabhisha people may be seen as outcasts or rebellious in their ways. They're too eccentric to belong in one particular group and possibly too bland to be accepted in another group. Their life ends up becoming the one black spot on a white canvas, the black sheep, the odd one who is forced to linger as the audience while watching others take the spotlight. In this way, the axis of Aquarius and Leo cannot coexist properly with each other as one will end up desiring to dominate or consume the other's light in an extreme way due to Rahu's energies. Magha and Purva Phalguni natives naturally attract attention, the glamour and the center stage in their lives, they typically have many followers who admire them without having to try hard at all.
I have personally noticed Shatabhisha people who become friends with a Magha/Purva Phalguni person and end up falling behind as their permanent shadow, unconsciously or not. The sensitvity of being excluded or overlooked that exists in this nakshatra is greatly magnified when they are around their opposing sign.
But, going back to more important topics, I will now disclose a few movies in which I have seen specific patterns of Shatabhisha Nakshatra manifesting in uncanny ways.
*I will make sure not to give too much spoilers for those who probably wish to watch these movies on their own free time.
The Machinist (Christian Bale - D60 Ketu in Shatabhisha)
This movie is about a young man, Trevor Reznik, who suffers severe insomnia and borderline anorexia throughout his entire life which stemmed from the unfortunate accident that took place in his troubled past. When he encounters a mysterious man that was born from Trevor's hallucinations, the familiar feelings of guilt and memories come flooding back to compel him to take responsibility for the mistake he caused.
Obsession (Inde Navarette - D1 Sun in Shatabhisha*)
This movie explains the main character, Bear, and his life turning around for the worse when he decides to make a wish for a girl, Nikki, to fall madly in love with him. Due to the supernatural circumstances in the film, the wish instantly backfires on him as she begins taking on a more psychotic and obsessive persona towards Bear. Her violent personality becomes much more destructive for herself and others around her.
Detention [2019] (Gingle Wang - D1 Mars, Jupiter and Ketu in Shatabhisha)
In this movie, the main character, Fang Ray Shin, navigates through a twisted and hellish environment of her school as she gradually uncovers the memories of the events that took place and the mistakes she has created which caused the innocent lives of others. She wanders between worlds as a spirit floating in limbo, stuck reliving the painful truths over and over again until she must accept her faults and open her heart up for forgiveness to find redemption. In my opinion, this is one of the best solid examples of this manifestation here.
There are a couple more movies that I can very well list but I am only demonstrating a few for now to simply share these themes as concisely as possible.
The common themes of identity confusion, meeting the shadow within yourself, isolation, exile, split selves, mental exhaustion and seeking a way out are all reverted back to Shatabhisha. These natives typically start life living on the outskirts of society as they tirelessly work to navigate their way in this world and find themselves in the process. Rahu's influence on this nakshatra only serves to cause more chaos and addiction that Shatabhisha natives succumb to whether it is excessive gaming, smoking, drinking or any other forms of substance abuse to escape the internal pain and conflict that they've created for themselves.
But, it doesn't necessarily mean that Shatabhisha people are destined to live a difficult life. They can very well turn these life lessons inward and reflect on them enough to help others along the path too, making them exceptional doctors, astrologers, psychologists, therapists and many other things that deal with the mind and body. They can even be pretty loyal friends in times of crisis or simply to have some fun, no matter how reckless it is.
Overall, this is my synopsis of this nakshatra and I will start looking more into other nakshatras or perhaps expand more on Shatabhisha and how it manifests in the modern world through other aspects.
Any questions or comments are deeply appreciated and welcomed, it would be very wonderful. Thanks for reading!

Sun–Venus in the 12th House — when identity and attachment move into the private and unstructured
Sun–Venus in the 12th house places identity and relationship together in a domain that dissolves clarity. The 12th governs isolation, sleep, retreat, hidden processes, foreign environments, and experiences that do not take clear form. When Sun and Venus occupy this house together, neither remains fully visible. Identity (Sun) and attraction (Venus) become internalized, diffused, and often difficult to define outwardly. This is why Sun–Venus in the 12th is not mainly about relationships or status. It is about the need to experience self and connection away from direct visibility. The native often carries a refined emotional field that prefers privacy. They may feel deeply and attach strongly, but express selectively or indirectly. When supported, this produces discretion, compassion, and the ability to experience closeness without display. When afflicted, it produces confusion between self and other, hidden attachments, or patterns where identity weakens inside relationships. identity becomes inseparable from emotional experience, but not always from clarity.

⸻
What Sun–Venus in the 12th does psychologically
The 12th house dissolves boundaries, and this affects both Sun and Venus. The person may not experience a sharply defined sense of self in relational contexts. Instead, identity can shift depending on emotional atmosphere, connection, or internal state. There is often a subtle blending between self-definition and emotional involvement. The native may not always know where their own needs end and another’s begin, especially in intimate or private settings. This produces sensitivity and perceptiveness, but also instability when awareness is low. This can produce refined qualities. The native may be emotionally intuitive, capable of reading unspoken signals, and able to respond without confrontation. They may prefer indirect expression and avoid harsh boundaries. But the shadow begins when this fluidity removes structure. Then the person may lose clarity about what they want, give without measuring what is received, or remain in situations that are emotionally compelling but not sustainable. connection softens identity, but lack of boundaries dissolves it.
⸻
Relationship pattern — privacy, ambiguity, and projection
Venus in the 12th already inclines toward private or undefined relationships. When joined with the Sun, this pattern becomes central to identity. The native may not prefer openly structured relationships or may repeatedly experience connections that remain hidden, distant, or emotionally complex. There can be attraction toward unavailable partners, long-distance bonds, or relationships that exist more strongly in imagination than in shared reality. When supported, this placement produces quiet loyalty, emotional depth, and the ability to sustain connection without external validation. The person can love without display and maintain discretion. When afflicted, it produces secrecy, one-sided involvement, or emotional projection where the person relates more to what they feel than what is actually present. Sun’s involvement intensifies this, because identity becomes tied to these hidden dynamics, making detachment difficult. the person feels deeply, but must learn to distinguish feeling from reality.
⸻
Pleasure, loss, and expenditure
The 12th house governs expenditure, and Venus governs pleasure. When combined with Sun, personal identity becomes involved in how pleasure is pursued and how resources are used. The native may spend on experiences that create emotional escape or sensory comfort—travel, private environments, art, or isolation-based pleasures. When balanced, this produces meaningful retreat, where the person restores themselves through solitude and refined experiences. When imbalanced, it creates patterns of excess—spending without satisfaction, indulgence that does not stabilize, or emotional loss through attachment to temporary comfort. Sun’s presence can justify these patterns internally, making them feel necessary rather than excessive. what soothes in the moment may weaken stability over time.
⸻
The 7th aspect — withdrawal affecting engagement
From the 12th house, both Sun and Venus aspect the 6th house. The 6th governs work, discipline, routine, and conflict. This creates tension between withdrawal and responsibility. The native may oscillate between phases of isolation and periods of forced engagement. When overwhelmed, they withdraw; when pressure increases, they re-engage. In professional or daily environments, this can manifest as avoidance of confrontation. The person may prefer adjustment over direct conflict, which can be beneficial when balanced but problematic when necessary issues are not addressed. Over time, this pattern can create accumulated imbalance in work or health. withdrawal restores energy, but avoidance weakens structure.
⸻
Health dimension
The 12th house governs sleep, recovery, and the unconscious system. Sun here can disturb rest because identity remains active even during withdrawal. Venus seeks comfort, but the comfort may not always restore actual balance. The person may alternate between overstimulation and passive retreat. When balanced, the native benefits from controlled solitude, stable sleep patterns, and environments that reduce sensory overload. When afflicted, patterns may include irregular sleep, escapism, emotional fatigue, or reliance on comfort habits that avoid deeper imbalance. rest must restore the system, not distract it.
⸻
Transit from natal Moon — Sun–Venus influence on the 12th
When Sun and Venus activate the 12th from the natal Moon, the mind turns inward. External engagement reduces, and internal processing increases. The person may feel less motivated to interact socially and more inclined toward reflection, withdrawal, or quiet activity. This period can support emotional correction, healing, and rebalancing. However, it can also produce confusion, lack of direction, or avoidance if not handled consciously. Old emotional patterns, unresolved attachments, or hidden tendencies may surface more clearly. withdrawal reveals patterns that activity conceals.
⸻
Present transit application
In present transit reading, Sun–Venus influence on the 12th is not a phase for expansion or major decisions. It is a phase for reduction, observation, and internal adjustment. The native should avoid forcing clarity in relationships or overextending in external commitments. The productive use of this period lies in conserving energy, correcting habits, and understanding emotional patterns without immediate reaction. step back with awareness, not avoidance.
⸻
Sign-wise behavior of Sun–Venus in the 12th

Taurus: Comfort and sensory pleasure become private and controlled. The person prefers stable isolation over uncertain engagement, often building a contained emotional world. comfort stabilizes, but limits expansion.
Gemini: Emotional experience becomes mentalized. The person processes relationships through thought, often creating internal narratives instead of direct interaction. the mind replaces direct connection.
Cancer: Emotional depth intensifies, but safety is sought through withdrawal. The person protects their sensitivity by limiting exposure. protection preserves feeling, but restricts growth.
Leo: The need for recognition becomes hidden. Pride influences emotional life, making vulnerability difficult even in private settings. identity seeks expression, but resists exposure.
Virgo: Emotional patterns are analyzed and controlled. The person seeks clarity but struggles to relax into experience without evaluation. analysis increases awareness, but reduces ease.
Libra: Harmony is maintained through avoidance. Relationships may remain undefined to prevent imbalance or conflict. balance is preserved, but resolution is delayed.
Scorpio: Intensity is internalized. The person forms deep attachments but keeps them hidden, maintaining control over emotional exposure. depth increases, but openness decreases.
Sagittarius: Meaning is pursued through solitude and reflection. The person alternates between expansion and withdrawal without stable grounding. search continues, but lacks structure.
Capricorn: Emotional expression is restricted. The person withdraws into control and discipline, limiting vulnerability. structure protects, but isolates.
Aquarius: Detachment defines the inner world. The person processes emotion through distance, maintaining independence even in connection. distance creates clarity, but reduces intimacy.
Pisces: Boundaries dissolve easily. The person absorbs emotional atmosphere deeply, often losing distinction between self and other. sensitivity connects, but requires containment.
Final truth
Sun–Venus in the 12th house is one of the clearest placements where identity and attachment move into hidden, private, and unstructured spaces. At its lowest, it becomes confusion, emotional loss, hidden dependency, and lack of self-definition. At its highest, it becomes refined sensitivity, quiet connection, and the ability to experience closeness without losing inner awareness. what is hidden is not always lost, but it must be understood to be sustained.
Rahu is so misunderstood..
This post might trigger many cause rahu is disliked and they’re gonna want to oppose and replace it with a different collection of planets. I do not want to hear it. As a Ketu dominated individual one thing i love love love about rahu energy they’re shamelessly obsessive in their interests/ desires and persuits and it gets them so far. I think the hate is to some degree jealousy lmfao.
Life literally has no choice but to let them have their way when they embody themselves -this is exactly because they’re obsessive. This is also where the manipulative aspect of this energy gets projected on to rahu because it WILL get its way. But it’s not afraid of practical ways of going about it— one of its homes is literally in a saturnian rasi —it just won’t restrict itself to that avenue alone. The energy that might be more avoidant of practical pursuits and may especially depend on manipulation (for typically.. only comfort’s sake) : is moon influence. Rahu it self doesn’t actually care, it works in convenience and sometimes comforts are not convenient-they will simply move on if they feel they must. This is where the identity-less aspect often projected on rahu comes about. But they are not identity-less, when you really think about it they’re the most identified. They’re exploring a bunch of different things that stimulates that itch within themselves. They are not identity-less in the ketuvian sense- ketu identity-less-ness is the “i know myself but ..do i really?” rahu identity -lessness is “idk myself but let’s find out” both energies are inside their own personalized projections of self ; and in an almost constant unconscious (or conscious) reflection of it. They shift/ they move , and are very shameless and open about it(especially rahu). Ketu doesn’t have shame we appear more esoteric /are more inclined to look to the past as a means to self reflection and self identity. Largely because we just trust it more. But for rahu they know how to work in a manner to make their own living more stimulating for themselves and almost enviously functional in its way too. Rahu is the pure human biological impulse to keep on going, it’s a very necessary part of human function abandoning it for spiritual “enlightenment” is a trap that will have you controlled by the exact destructive forces of rahu that are so disdained.
Signs of having a strong rahu not having shame in being obsessive or relentlessly concentrated and of course remembering you’re human and to give yourself a break sometimes. Of course there is no rahu without ketu and truth be told we are very similar. Rahu is just more transparent in its tendencies and to a degree can be quite ‘superficial’ because often its interests are coming from modern filtered or derived things-ketu can have the same problems honestly but we cling to history so we never quite loose ourselves in our consumption activities. Rahu is where innovation arrives ;its home in the air signs for a reason. And everybody secretly loves rahu— lovers that shamelessly pine, a crush that invigorates you, activists who relentlessly press on, people who are obsessive ab an aesthetic or lifestyle that stimulates them - it all seems useless because well.. we all will be 6 ft under eventually right? but it gives life a sense of direction in the mean time at least. Rahu is where you truly go to personalize your developing self. Listening to what truly entices you - being able to also separate but also leverage collective interests from your own -into your own , with your own. In the end creating a balanced nodal axis. Truth be told though, there is no strong rahu without a strong ketu and there is no strengthened ketu without an engaged rahu.
I’m starting to notice a pattern within psychics and witches. A lottt of mercurial nakshatras (jyestha, Ashlesha and Revati), a cancer nakshatra (Pushya) and ketu mixing together. Which honestly makes perfect sense to me. Ketuvians always channeling from the void and mercurials master illusions and learning. Perfect for learning spells and magical powers from the astral. The goth aesthetic and the interest in the occult. It’s so cool :)

Getting closer to self is getting closer to God
“Natural perfumery materials possess both sap and mystery. They are the concentrated essence of the materials from which they are derived, but they are not reducible to one thing; by their very nature, they are formed from minute traces of various materials, which is why Moroccan rose smells different from Bulgarian rose or Egyptian rose, or, for that matter, why Moroccan rose itself varies discernibly from season to season. In some highly complex essences, such as jasmine, numerous chemical substances, sometimes many hundreds, have been isolated, and still there are many more elements that have not been identified. Synthetics can approximate the dominant qualities of the natural essences, but because of this irreducible complexity, they cannot capture the subtlety or softness of their odors. With all the chemical analysis available, natural substances cannot be pinned down to a formula and replicated in a laboratory. Only nature can create the smell of jasmine at nightfall.”

Venus in the 12th House — when love, pleasure, and value move into the private and hidden
Venus in the 12th house places a planet of attraction, comfort, and relational intelligence into a domain of withdrawal, loss, and invisibility. The 12th governs isolation, sleep, dreams, private pleasure, foreign environments, hidden processes, and the parts of life that are not publicly structured. When Venus occupies this house, it does not disappear, but it becomes less visible and more internalized.
This is why Venus in the 12th is not mainly about relationships. It is about the need to experience connection in private or unstructured ways.
The native often carries a soft emotional field that does not fully express itself outwardly. They may feel deeply, but reveal selectively. When supported, this produces compassion, subtle affection, and the ability to experience beauty internally. When afflicted, it produces confusion in relationships, hidden attachments, or patterns of loss connected to pleasure and desire.
love becomes inseparable from privacy.

What Venus in the 12th does psychologically
The 12th house dissolves boundaries. It is where clear structures begin to fade. Venus here often creates a person whose emotional and relational life does not follow simple patterns.
This can produce refined qualities. The native may be gentle, empathetic, imaginative, and capable of deep emotional sensitivity. They may find comfort in solitude, art, music, or environments that allow them to withdraw from external pressure. But the shadow begins when boundaries weaken.
Then patterns appear: the person may give more than they receive they may enter relationships that remain hidden or unclear they may confuse emotional depth with emotional uncertainty
So Venus in the 12th often asks the person to learn a difficult distinction:
sensitivity creates connection, but lack of boundaries creates loss.
⸻
Relationships, secrecy, and emotional pattern
The 12th house is associated with hidden experiences. Venus here often produces a relational life that is private, indirect, or difficult to define clearly.
When supported, this can manifest as discretion, emotional depth, and the ability to love without display. The native may prefer quiet relationships rather than public expression. When afflicted, the same placement can produce secrecy, unfulfilled connections, or relationships that remain incomplete or one-sided.
This does not always indicate secrecy by choice. Sometimes it reflects a tendency to withdraw emotionally or to experience connection in ways that are not easily structured.
So this placement often carries ambiguity:
what is felt may not be fully expressed.
⸻
Pleasure, expenditure, and loss
The 12th house is also connected to expenditure. Venus here influences how the native experiences pleasure and how they use resources for comfort.
When supported, the person may spend on experiences that bring peace—travel, retreats, art, private spaces, or environments that allow withdrawal. This can be constructive when balanced. When afflicted, the same placement can produce uncontrolled expenditure, indulgence without satisfaction, or financial loss through desire.
This is why Venus in the 12th often creates a subtle imbalance:
pleasure is sought, but does not always stabilize.
⸻
The 7th aspect of Venus from the 12th — inner withdrawal shaping service
From the 12th house, Venus aspects the 6th house. The 6th governs work, service, conflict, routine, and imbalance. This creates a direct link between withdrawal and engagement.
The native may oscillate between isolation and involvement. When they withdraw too much, daily structure suffers. When they over-engage, they may feel drained and return to isolation.
This can also produce a pattern where the person gives in service without clear limits, especially in emotional or relational contexts.
So one of the most important truths here is:
rest and responsibility must be balanced consciously.
⸻
Health dimension
The 12th house is associated with sleep, recovery, and the unconscious. Venus here affects how the person restores themselves.
When balanced, the native benefits from rest, quiet environments, and emotional softness. Their system recovers through withdrawal. When disturbed, patterns may appear such as irregular sleep, escapism, emotional exhaustion, or dependency on comfort patterns that do not restore actual balance.
the body requires rest, but not escape.
⸻
Transit from natal Moon — when Venus influences the 12th from Chandra Lagna
When Venus activates the 12th house from the natal Moon, the mind moves inward. The person may feel less socially active and more inclined toward privacy.
This is a period where: rest increases social interaction decreases emotional processing deepens
It can be beneficial for reflection, healing, and retreat. However, the shadow includes isolation, unnecessary withdrawal, or indulgence in habits that avoid reality.
withdrawal can restore, but can also disconnect.
⸻
Present transit application
In present transit reading, Venus in the 12th should be used for internal alignment rather than external pursuit. It is a time to reduce unnecessary interaction and focus on mental and emotional recovery.
The gift of the transit is restoration. The shadow is escapism.
step back, but remain aware.
⸻
Planetary influences — how the result changes
If Jupiter influences Venus in the 12th, emotional life becomes more protected and meaningful. The native may find wisdom through solitude. The shadow is idealism without structure.
If Saturn influences Venus, emotional expression becomes restricted. The native may withdraw more. The gift is discipline. The shadow is loneliness.
If Mars influences Venus, hidden tensions may surface. The gift is clarity. The shadow is conflict in private.
If Moon influences Venus, emotional sensitivity increases strongly. The shadow is mood-driven withdrawal.
If Mercury influences Venus, the person processes emotions mentally. The shadow is overthinking in isolation.
If Rahu influences Venus, desire intensifies in hidden ways. The shadow is instability.
If Ketu influences Venus, detachment increases. The shadow is disconnection.
⸻
Sign-wise behavior of Venus in the 12th
Aries Venus in the 12th in Aries creates an inner life where desire is immediate but not always sustained. The person may feel attraction quickly, often in private or unspoken ways, but may withdraw just as quickly when clarity is required. There is a tension between wanting connection and maintaining independence, which can lead to incomplete relational patterns or sudden emotional disengagement. The gift is emotional courage in facing hidden feelings. The shadow is impulsive attachment followed by withdrawal. desire begins easily, but struggles to remain.
Taurus Here Venus seeks comfort through isolation. The native often finds peace in controlled, private environments where sensory comfort is preserved. They may spend on quiet pleasures—food, space, rest, or physical ease—but may avoid confronting deeper emotional needs directly. The attachment to private comfort can become strong enough to reduce external engagement. The gift is the ability to create restorative solitude. The shadow is overattachment to comfort that prevents growth. comfort stabilizes the inner world, but can replace participation.
Gemini Venus in Gemini in the 12th creates a mentalized emotional life. The person often processes feelings through thought, reflection, or internal dialogue rather than direct expression. There may be hidden communications, unspoken conversations, or relationships that exist more in thought than in reality. This produces flexibility, but also fragmentation. The gift is subtle understanding of emotional nuance. The shadow is overthinking that replaces genuine connection. the mind speaks where the heart hesitates.
Cancer Here Venus becomes deeply sensitive in private. The native often carries strong emotional memory and may retreat into familiar feelings or past experiences. They seek safety through withdrawal, and relationships may feel strongest when protected from external interference. However, this can create dependency on emotional familiarity rather than present clarity. The gift is deep nurturing capacity. The shadow is emotional retreat that prevents growth. safety is preserved, but not always expanded.
Leo Venus in Leo in the 12th creates a hidden need for recognition. The person may desire appreciation and emotional warmth, but struggle to express this openly. Pride enters the private space, making vulnerability difficult. Relationships may be kept private or emotionally contained to avoid exposure. The gift is loyalty and quiet devotion. The shadow is suppressed need for validation that creates internal tension. recognition is desired, but not easily requested.
Virgo Here Venus seeks control over the inner world. The native may analyze emotions, relationships, and desires carefully, often trying to refine or correct them. This produces awareness, but also prevents relaxation. They may struggle to accept imperfection in emotional experience, leading to subtle dissatisfaction. The gift is emotional discernment. The shadow is over-analysis that blocks ease. clarity is pursued, but peace becomes conditional.
Libra Venus in Libra in the 12th seeks harmony but avoids confrontation. The native may withdraw rather than disturb balance, especially in emotionally complex situations. Relationships may remain unresolved because direct expression is replaced by quiet adjustment. This can create a peaceful outer appearance but an unsettled inner field. The gift is the ability to maintain emotional balance. The shadow is avoidance of necessary truth. harmony is maintained, but not always resolved.
Scorpio Here Venus operates with depth and secrecy. The native often experiences intense emotional patterns privately, without external expression. They may form strong attachments but keep them hidden or controlled. Trust becomes selective, and emotional exposure is limited. The gift is powerful inner emotional depth. The shadow is secrecy that isolates the person from real connection. depth is protected, but connection is restricted.
Sagittarius Venus in Sagittarius in the 12th seeks meaning through withdrawal. The native may explore emotional or relational patterns internally, often through philosophy, belief, or personal reflection. They may alternate between openness and withdrawal, seeking both expansion and escape. The gift is insight gained through reflection. The shadow is lack of grounding in real relational structure. meaning is pursued, but not always anchored.
Capricorn Here Venus becomes restrained in private life. The native may control emotional expression, preferring structure over spontaneity. They may withdraw into responsibility or routine, limiting emotional flow. This creates stability, but also distance. The gift is emotional discipline and endurance. The shadow is suppression that leads to isolation. control maintains structure, but reduces softness.
Aquarius Venus in Aquarius in the 12th creates a detached inner field. The native may feel emotions deeply but process them through distance. They may withdraw from traditional relational patterns and seek unconventional forms of connection. This produces independence but also unpredictability. The gift is emotional objectivity. The shadow is detachment that prevents intimacy. distance protects, but also separates.
Pisces Here Venus becomes fully absorptive. The native may dissolve boundaries in emotional and relational experience, taking in the atmosphere around them. They may experience deep compassion, imagination, and sensitivity, but struggle to separate their feelings from others. This can lead to emotional confusion or idealization. The gift is profound empathy. The shadow is lack of boundaries that creates loss. sensitivity connects, but requires containment.

Venus in the 12th house is one of the clearest placements where love, pleasure, and value move into private and less structured spaces.
At its lowest, it becomes: confusion, hidden patterns, loss through desire, and emotional withdrawal.

i love how magha is like para atman, the universal and primordial soul/consciousness of the Creator itself, while it’s latent and in its pre-creation phase. this is why Magha feels “dead” or like a ghost — it’s pure consciousness that predates all of creation. however, that consciousness is not reflecting on itself. self reflection begins to happen in purva phalguni and then the self is fully realized in uttara phalguni through Kundalini awakening, and Consciousness reflects on itself own Consciousness. purva phalguni is the desire of lalita to experience creation alongside “another” (which is an illusion, as she is the only one). uttara phalguni is the birth of duality (parvati/shakti-shiva marriage AKA Kundalini awakening).
shatabhisha is “100 stars”, almost like the stars of the constellations in the sky (the nakshatras themselves). nakshatras are like subdivisions / micro divisions of Creator consciousness (Devī’s consciousness, especially as they are lunar mansions and Purnima = Shodashi. shatabhisha is like the filter / Veil of Rahu that dissolves into reality (Saturn). Aquarius = humanity, Shatabhisha = illusion of separation from God. Shatabhisha is ruled by Varuna who represents the fact that the Para Atman (Magha, eternal consciousness from before Creation) is like filtered into a bunch of beings at once. because all of us are fragments of this Soul Creator.
Matangi is the voice of the feminine spirit which purifies, assorts and intellectualizes the libido (life force energy & primal impulses) into the highest form of knowledge needed in any given circumstance. This is why Uttara Phalguni (solar and mercurial = Matangi) is closely connected to magic and manifestation. As I’ve shared before, Uttara Phalguni can be connected to the wish granting sacred cow goddess Kamadhenu. Uttara Phalguni is knowledge of the Earth and its life forms (the animal kingdom/food chain/forest dweller who cuts through the vines/obstacles of the 6th house in order to acquire a large amount of material abundance from the Earth which is literally Lakshmi. Bhumi is another one of Vishnu’s consorts. This is why I always emphasize that Uttara Phalguni represents every woman as a manifestation of the Earth & Shakti. How mankind treats Earth is synonymous with the way it treats women: exploitation. This thennn even ties into Uttara Phalguni dominating the p*rn industry, which is the exploitation of the female body as a “Fruit Giver”. In this scenario, she is Fruit Giving to the Male Eye / Male Gaze. Handmaid’s Tale: “blessed be the fruit” “under his eye” are their religious-cult like sayings that keep the women indoctrinated under exploitation of their bodies for their own selfish pleasure as well as children. as extensions of the husband’s lineage &. THIS is why Aryaman is said to protect women when choosing (Chayani shakti) a mate for marriage. Aryaman rules GENTLEMANLY behavior, enlightenment over the Kundalini life force. Aryaman is literally guarding the gateway to Earth (Virgo) in the Yoni in order to protect women from procreating/marrying a man who will exploit them.
Alllll of this ties into Yoni puja symbolizing the worship of the feminine spirit in order to heal her so she can blossom and give fruits. Otherwise, she is exploited and everyone suffers!
Ashlesha, Ketu, Dhumavati, Tara, the Nagas, and the True Mysteries of Patala Loka (Hag Version)
Today we’re gonna be looking at the actual core of the feminine, with regard to a nakshatra we’ve all heard so much about.
Ashlesha is nakshatra that you’ll see a lot in New Age circles and Vedic Twitter and tumblr as being one of the main lunar mansions of “feminine mystique”, whatever the f*ck that means. Yin, magnetic, seductive eyes, frigid sexuality, paralyzing power of the kundalini, tantra queens, makeup, glamor, prostitution, channeling erotic female Lilith energy, etc etc etc etc.
Very much of this is due to what that uwu princess female adept woman has put out into the world, and I have to say… the feminine mystery part is true—just not in the way that one would think, and certainly not in the way that ms. nócty thinks.
Ashlesha is said to be the birth nakshatra of Ketu, which I ruthlessly dragged in another one of my posts. But today we’re going to look at the other side of Ketu. Ketu is associated with strīm̐ (स्त्रीं), the strī bija, which directly translated means the “woman root syllable”. As you may know, Ketu is associated with excavation, spiritual knowledge, looking past superficialities, and the “root” of things. And these significations are of the utmost importance when a woman wants to know her true spiritual power.
Ketu is associated with 2 vidyas: Dhumavati and Tara. Tara is the concept of strī, woman, itself. Both of these goddesses are described as absolutely horrifying to look at; Dhumavati (me, lol) is ugly, old, haggard, frightening, wrinkled, and nasty, and Tara is fat, disheveled, pot-bellied, and described as extremely awkward to look at. And yet… they are the only goddesses who have the ability to save. Not Lakshmi, not Kamala, not Tripura Sundari, not Bhuvaneshwari. Dhumavati brings about Daruna Ratri, which brings about the end of the corruption of the world, and Tara comes from the Sanskrit root word tṝ, which means to cross over or to transcend. Tara is commonly referred to as a boat that takes one over the sea of samsara, and this is confirmed even further by Tara’s association with the Matsya (fish) avatar of Vishnu.
Tara and Dhumavati, along with their yantras
To understand the freeing power of Ketu, especially for women, we have to look at the mythology of the Nagas, the rulers of Ashlesha. They are said to reside in the lowest realm, buried deep (Ketu) under all the others. This realm is known as Patala Loka. Patala Loka is unique in that it is not illuminated by solar bodies like the other realms; it is illuminated by the jewels worn by the Nagas of Patala Loka, each of them having their own brilliance and luster.
“There is no sunlight in the lower realms, but the darkness is dissipated by the shining of the jewels that the residents of Patala wear.”
Ashlesha, according to ms. nǒckty, is characterized by external “feminine mystique” and makeup and glamor that creates the “yin” to attract solar energy to it, since feminine beings—again according to her—are unable to produce their own light.
But if you dive into the deepest realm, characterized by the feminine powers of the Nagas, you’ll see that they have no need for a Sun to provide illumination. Their own gems are enough to bring light to the entirety of Patala Loka. And for all the nǒckty worshipers who by now still haven’t gotten the point: a woman in her most profound state of existence does not need a man to give her anything for her to spiritually progress. What she needs is already within her. All she needs to do is to dive deep within herself to find these gems that are inherent to her. As women, the brilliance of our own consciousness is Tara herself, who is herself Dhumavati, the one who has no consort because she is enough for herself.
This is the true core of the feminine and is the essence of my messaging here. You as a woman have the gift of unimaginable spiritual clarity, and the way to get there is not by dolling up your temporary physical vessel in order to attract a “virile solar being” who will simply reduce you to a physical object to be used and cast aside. You as a woman do it by excavating deep into yourself and finding the mysteries within. You as a woman do it by realizing that YOU are the true virile solar being. And this is how you as a woman cross the ocean of samsara and into liberation.
May my creativity make me a wealthy woman.
Now that I think about it zuko from the avatar the last airbender series is so magha coded. So I checked the charts of his voice actors and live action actors. They’re all ketuvian suns. Dante basco and dallas liu (also has mula ketu) are magha suns, steven yeun is mula sun while dev patel is ashwini sun. So the ketu energy is really strong with zuko. My guess was magha bc of the whole arc with his father, detaching from the way the royal family and his father has ruled their country/the world, but also rejecting the throne and what it meant. He even connected to the more ancient and “real” way of fire bending (ancestors).
As for his dad, ozai:
Mark hamill has magha venus and mars while daniel dae kim has magha venus.
