(Revives tumblr account) hi. 994/1151 of my AO3 works were scraped. ("You don’t have that many" This big number includes locked fics AND permanently-anonymous works that don’t appear on my profile. Oh, and a work I orphaned was scraped but is not included in that number). More rambling below the cut.
Not all of my public works were scraped (though I don’t know how some of the older ones evaded it!) and some of my locked works were scraped. I don’t want to lock all my works since that doesn’t completely work anyways, so I won’t be doing that at this moment. (I know which of my works weren’t scraped, though locking just them would feel too obvious)
Idk if I’ll be posting new works from now on. I have one work for a gift exchange that’ll be out when the exchange reveals (expected May) and two assignments due in May/June, and I’m working on my FTH work, but I’ve decided to not sign up for any more exchanges at the moment. (Both due to the scraping and just being busy)
I will continue my current weekly books- Unconventional Recipes (Gavv), THE Kamen Rider Microfics (Kamen Rider 1971 show), 5:55 (Faiz), Kirakilala Couplets (You and Idol Precure), and No. 1 Cinquains (Gozyuger) until they are done (Note: this means late 2026 for Kamen Rider 1971). They were all scraped (besides Gozyuger, who avoided it due to work id number) anyway. I don’t want them to be scraped *again* but I don’t want to restrict the works if I don’t have to.
I don’t *like* that so many works were scraped but I kinda expected that for the unlocked works. But I am disappointed that (some of) my locked works were included. I’m also considering locking my permanently anonymous works, though this won’t make a difference to the number of works on my profile. I was/am generally fine with those currently-unlocked works being public, because they’re not on my profile, but when I made those fics I didn’t expect they would ever be in an llm. And I guess they’re still not associated with me, but I don’t want AI to be trained on my intrusive thoughts and stuff y’know? So I’ll at least lock those.
(Can’t lock that orphaned work though. That’s fine with me, it’s just cringe.)
What was the purpose of this post? Idk. I’m not that sad (most of) my works got scraped, like I’ll be okay, but if you notice I don’t post anything besides the weekly books (listed earlier) and like 1-2 works in May, that’s why. I hate coming up with titles anyway.

Basically I’m crossposting, so my works on AO3 will remain up there, any works I post in December might be posted to both at the same time but I don’t plan to post exclusively on SquidgeWorld. All my works are backdated, so the date it says they were posted reflects when it was posted on AO3 and not the fact that I archived 90 works in less than 24 hours.
I’m going to archive almost all my works on SquidgeWorld, *except* any works I’ve tagged as Abandoned - maybe I’ll archive them eventually, but they’re very low priority.
I’m going to prioritize/make sure to archive poetry, microfics, meta, and the entirety of my Collection Books series (ideally once the import feature is…better, for that series...)
If you wanna hear me ramble more about how I’m planning to archive my works on SquidgeWorld, it’s under the cut.
I will be archiving Ryusoulger Oneshots and Kiramager Oneshots as individual works, not as oneshot books- I’ve wanted to repost them for a while but like…they’ve been up on AO3 for years, they have significant stats…but on SquidgeWorld everything is back to 0! So I’ll be reposting them as individual works. There are some chapters of Ryusoulger Oneshots that don’t have chapter titles…if I really *really* can’t think of a title I’ll put them lower on the priority list is all. All the chapters of Kiramager Oneshots have titles except for one.
All my works are remaining the same rating, tags, etc. as the content itself hasn’t changed. If a work is locked on AO3, it’ll be locked on SquidgeWorld as well.
Also, if I gifted you a work on AO3 (for a gift exchange, birthday, or just for fun) and you want me to gift it to you on SquidgeWorld, go ahead! Just message me or comment on the work on AO3 or whatever works for you, and once you have an account I’ll gift it to you.

With so many people moving from AO3 to SquidgeWorld and the influx of new works I’m curious if people are using the Import Work button or just making new works

Here is a series of my works written for Giramie Week 2023! I don’t write much in advance, so while the only work so far is SFW, I can’t gurantee the whole series will be.
Big news @toku100challenge! I just finished writing a double drabble sequence (200 words per chapter), 3600 words total! It took a month to write and wasn’t planned to be nearly that long. (For reference, so far the only other fic I’ve written for this challenge that got into the quadruple-digits is 1000 words total, and was planned to be that long.) I’m super proud of it, so I’m promoting it here. It’s a Gotchard-Fourze crossover focused mainly on Gotchard pre-canon, starring Sabimaru and Gentaro!
I’ve decided to post 3 chapters per day for almost a week, so I’m not posting it all at once because it’s relatively long, but it won’t take too long for the whole thing to be out. It’s currently Not Rated because I’m tired, but it’ll probably end up rated G. It’s definitely SFW.

But when I do, it’s that I’m nervous when I post something probably-NSFW on main and go "I hope I don’t lose user subscribers because of this (usually because of a pairing/kink/whatever)" and then I post it and hope for the best.
Anyways, every time I have done that and then checked my stats later, I have gained user subscribers. Maybe just by 1 or 2, but the number doesn’t decrease, and it definitely doesn’t cause everyone to suddenly unsubscribe over one fic.
So that’s pretty fun lol.
Also I post a lot, and sometimes I feel bad for the actual dozens of people who very regularly get emails saying I posted, lol
Fun fact: I was doing a different poem today and needed adjectives that started with K and didn’t just want to use Kind because that’s boring and was looking through lists and saw the word Kickable and like
