So I’m using the tumblr labs extension that shows you reblog maps? And I think they do a great job at showing why reblogging is so important

This is only 200 reblogs deep bc otherwise it becomes very clustered.

Each dot represents a reblog, the yellow one is my original post. You can see the big cluster on the left - someone who reblogged from me directly and it spread. But what’s even more interesting here is the BIG cluster on the right - that one only happened because two relatively small blogs (I’m assuming, since the reblogs from those dots are way less) spread my post. Otherwise it might have never reached this person and I would have lost a lot of exposure that way.

REBLOGS MATTER!! even if you think you have too little followers to make a difference.
