I am curious What is your opinion on fell xenologue royals and what if they were able to take the place of the original engage cast. How much would you think would change in main story.

Oof, I feel like a LOT would change

For one, Firene no longer being a peaceful country would recontextualize heavily characters like Céline. The current Firene in regular Elyos is portrayed as a wealthy country + peaceful, almost fairy tale like with the people in it having such strong aversion towards conflict that it ends up being in their detriment in the long run. Céline's being more ruthless enters in this context where she is trying to correct the peacefulness bordering on laxism of the country, but if Firene was war mongering, this would put her character in a different light since the dynamic would no longer be the same. With that in mind, Firene being not used to war and being considered an easy target would most likely no longer be a thing.

In the case of Brodia, if it's considered a peaceful country, then similarly, Diamant's whole character of wanting to cut it out with the conquest is no longer informed by the reality of Brodia's problems with it being a country that values strengh (characters feeling complexed by their lack of skills, lack of rank, etc).

Ivy's whole character in the story was how she was secretly rebelling in her own way, but in the Xenologue, she fully embrace Elusia's ways and I wonder how exactly she would even come to be an ally of Alear, especially considering she actively abuses Hortensia.

Solm makes it even harder to picture, not only is Timerra less flexible between her silly and more pragmatic side, but then you've got Xeno Fogado... that guy is evil...

When I think of all of this, I am having such trouble picturing Alear forming connections with any of them that the XenoElyos being in the state that it was makes a lot of sense.

Our Alear would have had a lot of work to do in order to get everyone to work together in these conditions
