The princes
Im like 70% satisfied with their redesigns oh well
Ill start with the crown prince Geoffrey, I thought his design didnt call for attention at all so I gave him details that would make him read as royalty, I also fixed his bangs because they bothered me.
The second prince Ian is shady so I closed his suit and gave him wide clothes to hide secrets in. I made his hair more symmetrical for aesthetics but i think it works for his personality.
I gave the twins the same amount of layers and an identical cut of suit but Im not too sure about how Geordo came out. Hes the prince charming arquetype so I made his hair fluffier to stand out.
The other twin Alan is a rough artist (and one of my least favorite designs in the anime, he looks like a lone-wolf swordfighter 😭😭), I kept his hair asymmetrical but long enough to have a tiny ponytail. He has a suit because he is still a prince after all, but he has a rather informal looking scarf.

Maria Campbell!
As opposed to my Villain Katarina Maria wears a simple dress due to her sincere personality and status. I changed the color of her ribbon to bright purple and made her hairstyle more puffy

Or so he said. If it had been my past life, I would have had games, anime, manga, and plenty of other entertainment, so staying inside the house wouldn't have been boring at all, but in this life, there was hardly any entertainment. The only things I could do inside were reading romance novels and eating sweets— nothing else. Wondering how everyone else spent their time on days like this, I decided to ask Keith.
Katarina: Keith, how do you spend your time inside the house?
Keith: Let's see... I read books to study up on different things, look into things I didn't understand at work, and that's about it.
He gave me a splendidly diligent answer.
I couldn't be happier that my younger brother, a frivolous playboy in the game, had grown so splendidly. But I was the kind of person who wanted to rest and not work on my days off, so unfortunately, it didn't seem like his answer would help my case. Since I couldn't use Keith's answer, I decided to ask my personal maid, Anne.
Katarina: Anne, how do you spend your time inside the house?
Anne: Let's see… I try to find ways to brew delicious tea and ways to dress you quickly and beautifully. Lately, I have also been looking into different ways to keep your fields in good shape.
And this one too could only think about work. What's more, it was all related to taking care of me, which made me feel guilty.
Katarina: It'd be fine to focus more on yourself, you know?
I said that, but…
Anne: But I am only doing things I love…
…she replied with a puzzled face. What Anne loved… might actually be work.
Still, her answer didn't help my case either.
Wasn't there anyone who spent their time in a way I could relate to? As I was wandering around the manor, I came across a maid hired a few years ago. We seemed to be similar types, so I decided to ask her.
Katarina: Hey, how do you spend your time at home on your days off?
Maid: Let's see… I put everything I need on my bed and just laze around there except for bathroom breaks.
Katarina: Eh?! Put everything on your bed?!
Maid: Yes. Sweets, drinks, and books to pass the time. I bring everything to my bed, sleep whenever I like, wake up whenever I like, eat sweets, and just laze around freely.
Katarina: That's wonderful! I'll definitely consider doing just that!
Maid: Oooh! I am honored to have been of help to the young mistress.
And so, when I tried to put into practice that wonderful way to spend my time that I'd learned from the maid, both Anne and Mother gave me a good scolding.
I feel like it'd be cute if the eventual chosen live interest eventually had a chibi at the council as a representation of them being an important factor for her to consider the input of.
I feel like part of the connection between Katarina and Anne stems from how Anne had to watch a small child be scarred after having experienced ostracization due to her own. Furthermore from her perspective, both of them become devoted to a profession after their injury (farming on Katarina's part).

The Ascart siblings
I loved this pair but I thought they dragged too much attention, so I simplified Sophias design. Since shes albino/albino coded she wears long sleeves, a coat and a hat to protect from the sun, here I took an opportunity to keep the bows.
Nico is a dazzling soft beauty (guess on who I based his face on LOL), which was really hard for me to portray...after making Keith Claes I fear he attracts too little attention.
I really like drawing Katarina owo. Everytime I get a new kind of art supply, I always draw her :3

I got a new watercolor paper. Watercolor pad actually. And I’m actually surprised at how I don’t have to tape down the edges so that it wouldn’t warp when wet (it’s a Berkeley Watercolor Pad).
I really love Hamefura if you cannot tell (because I rarely post about it in my main blog). I used to call it Destruction Otome back when it only had the original light novel and a friend recommended it to me and I read it on Wattpad.
I used to wish. and pray. and WHINE. BEND OVER to my friends back in Grade 8 highschool in 2017 that I want Hamefura to have an anime adaptation soooo badly, they said it wouldn’t happen and you can guess how fucking happy I am that an anime adaptation actually happened.
Hamefura is honestly one of the first isekai that I read (that is typically seen as isekai) and first otome isekai and reincarnation isekai. And honestly, very based of me. I could do much much much worse. The characters are great. My baby Katarina is great. I love them. They’re my babies. What more can I say? I would do a 1000+ essay but I ran out of words after making my friends’ ears bleed talking about it (sorry Vera)
