Stonechat
Hey Sid, thanks for bringing so much attention to what's going on with Chl*gami and the fandom in general. I never would have known about a lot of this stuff since I never go on IG (I think I have an idea of what's going on here at least), but it's still good to spread the word.
I'm really sorry about all of the people coming to you to yell about how "iT's SaTiRe!" "It'S a ReFeReNcE!" as though any of that excuses it. It's not okay and never will be. It's a whole Schrodinger's joke situation all over again, just with a different name.
Content like hers makes fun of our struggles and births people like this who think they can joke about it too now that a big content creator like her is belittling us.

Boycott Chlogami! I hope all these racist people learn their lesson. I am an asian and you dont know how much it hurts.

May 11, 2021 - Red-billed Starling (Spodiopsar sericeus)
Found in parts of China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, and Taiwan, and occasionally in the Philippines and South Korea, these starlings live in shrublands, gardens, and cultivated areas. Feeding on insects and fruit, they forage in trees and on the ground and gather in large flocks outside of the breeding season. They nest in cavities in trees, roofs, and walls.
Miraculous Fandom
Here, you can block some racists in this fandom (that are on tumblr, or elsewhere):
bunnybugette - an arrogant discussion moderator on the MLB wiki who is commonly known as “Bunnybug”. Thinks BLM is “excuses to vandalize”. And that slavery was “inevitable”.
8unnix2 - pretensive anti-racist but supports “Bunnybug”
KatNoire - from mlb Fandom wiki, believes in the same thing as “Bunnybug”
Chlogami - on Instagram, is anti-asian
Miraculousfan25 - on mlb Fandom wiki. Thinks the skin lightening done to Max is just a repeated error (even though the difference is fairly big, and happens every transformation.)
The last person also compared that to Adrien becoming slightly darker when he’s Cat Noir but usually it’s unfortunately a common animation/illustrator practice try to make paler skinned characters appear darker when they want to make them seem more “sinister, (even if the character is good, but has a slighty less “innocent”, or slightly more rebellious nature). This also insulting to darker skinned people. And since Cat Noir’s whole aura is bad luck, that’s what they’re trying for.
Some context for the destruction of that Aboriginal site:
When indigenous ppl complain that their sacred sites are being destroyed and they say stuff like "we have a cultural connection to this place" "if we can't come here it's like ripping off our roots" "we need this place to communicate with our ancestor spirits" etc., white australians are conditioned to handwave statements like that away with shit like "oh well they're just saying that, it's just a random tree, they'll get over it, obviously ancestor spirits aren't real, sacredness of trees isn't real", and that is total bullshit.
Aboriginal sacred sites are integral parts of highly sophisticated mnemonic techniques that have been proven to preserve information for (i know this sounds hard to believe but) at least ten thousand years (they accurately describe coastlines that are now underwater, or dry areas that have since been rainforests for 7000 years, or extinct megafauna etc.)
Physical features (either in one place, or along a track known as a songline) work as subheadings in an encyclopaedia. Ritualised teachings tell people what rituals or song cycles (like subheadings in an encyclopaedia) to associate with specific visual cues, and then those songs all contain stories that have (for example) systematised knowledge of every local animal and plant, contained in songs for easy memorisation. White anthropologists mostly handwave these techniques away as "animist beliefs" and "ancestor worship" but in reality it's this extremely sophisticated system of knowledge that's something like a cultural encyclopaedia, and that's why it's such a big deal when this fucking anglo settler state and its profiteers destroy these locations like it means nothing bc "oh it's just a tree" or "what it's a rock they'll just go to another rock"

Guys. This Is A Drawing…
the way some people who aren’t americans, act as if black and native americans have life easy here and we aren’t mistreated by the government on a day to day basis–
i’ll elaborate on this more–but like the us gov was literally formed by the mistreatment of our two communities and to act as if we ’ve got the same privilege as the people who almost destroyed (and destroyed) some of our culture and shit–and took our ancestors from our homes–like um–yeh
This is true too we don’t get it easy from anyone T-T
Exactly what the MLB fandom wiki moderator “Bunnybug/bunnybugette” was saying. She was arguing that racism doesn’t happen today, and that Black slavery was “inevitable”.
Slavery/genocide on BIPOC obviously caused an extremely detrimental rift, on top of other forms of oppression immediately replacing slavery. But It’s interesting that, even when you aren’t talking about slavery and you’re talking about today’s racism, racists (like the above) argue against racism’s existence.

Lol I didn’t even think of that. Thanks!
Feel free to block: @bunnybugette (This is the tag a user here called “8unnix2″ used to try and contact her, because “8unnix2″ was in defense of “Bunnybug” despite pretending to be anti-racist on their blog)
She is also known as “Bunnybug/bunnybugette” on the Miraculous Ladybug wiki on the Fandom app, and is a moderator. She also has twitter but she’s been banned or something.
People should also beware her racist friend she was defending named “Katnoire” (Idk if “Katnoire” is on Tumblr). People need to know about this for sure. They were full on arguing with someone trying to care for BIPOC wiki users.
What sucks too is that you can’t report mods on the Fandom app. It’s up to “the community” of mods to decide whether they’re wrong or not, and they’re usually all friends so they end up defending each other.
Direct words from the user on the fandom app who had to deal with “Bunnybug/Katnoire”:

They are both (”KatNoire” and “Bunnybug”) extremely racist. “KatNoire” was saying that “American history is being attacked” when people were protesting police brutality.
The “KatNoire” person was more angry at the statues being taken down then racism and police brutality, and was minimizing black slavery.
In addition to the initial post, these two both think that black people and Natives aren’t experiencing anything. In fact, they think the victims are Americans (white Americans).
They need to be banned.
Neutral
Neutrality is not what it seems. You are choosing the side of oppression and injustice.
In this world, justice is something that requires action. It needs to be fought for. Injustice only requires inaction, because you’re allowing, already established and prominent injustice to continue.
Imagine your friend getting attacked (unprovoked) by a clear aggressor. Your friend asks you for help as they try to defend themselves, then you say that you’re “neutral”, or that both your friend and the attacker are wrong because their “both fighting”, so you sit by and watch.
Does that help you friend, or the attacker? Did you fight for what’s right, here?
There should be no such thing as being “neutral” in a crisis of injustice. It’s either you believe in equality or you don’t.
tiktok miraculous fandom you are on thin ice
One of my biggest pet-peeves is when nonblack ppl (especially nonblack poc) completely ignore that there are black ppl of pretty much every ethnicity/culture. Like there are black latinxs, black Asians, black Jews, etc…So if you are complaining about the hyper visibility of black ppl by saying “but what about my ppl”, remember when you say “my ppl” some of those ppl are black too and most likely they are treated like shit within their culture as well.
