Even in the 41st millennium Caliban seeps through his every step, of course the Lion keeps the tradition of presenting your love with your kills. It is a great honour to kill a monster and an almost greater honour to receive it as a gift. He isn't oblivious to the disgust that may arise from it but it doesn't make the, to him, rejection easier. Perhaps having the next one deconstructed into useful materials will ease their mind, because no matter what they will accept his gift.

Blood: How violent are they willing to get with others or their darling?

Ah, it depends really. The Lion is a force that will stop at nothing when protecting that which he holds dear. However, this usually means monsters. Very rarely will he find a baseline a threat to anything, (his sons may be another matter but also the average Dark Angel is too stupid to live) least of all his love. Lion is content to have them kept in the heart of a ship, a fortress, whatever, while he tears through the world outside. All they have to do is wait for him to return.

Cruelty: How cruel are they once their darling is enthralled?

Lion would like to believe his cruelty is past him, that his brash arrogance is no longer the first impression people get of him. Lion is a delusional fool. Despite his attempts to meet them on their level, he does unmistakably act like he is not on their level at all.

He treats them like a pet, a very well cared for pet that he would be destroyed if he ever lost, but a pet. Lion is not cruel in the immediate assumption of the word but he is uncaring because he thinks he knows best, and even if he didn't who were they to do anything more than politely suggest something.

Demanding: What do they expect from their darling?

Compliance mostly, he doesn't want much of them. Lion has always been of the opinion he must handled everything himself. In 40k this takes on a self sacrificial angle but the core of it stays the same. He just wants them to be there and to listen. They are the one 'thing' Lion has, they must realise that what they consider 'captivity' is the absolute best for everyone. They are safe forever and he finally has someone to confide in.

Exposed: How vulnerable are they with their darling?

Ahhh, extremely lol. It all comes out with them. They are truly the only one he has, even if they are far beneath him in many ways. Has a tendency to (unknowingly) hold this over their head. His terrible, horrible paranoia that materialises as stopping his lover from interacting with other people too much as he fears they could divulge his secrets, and he just wants them back. His love is unconditional but his trust is barely there, regardless of his attempts to be more trusting.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

A part of him, the old and familiar part, is utterly enraged. How dare they try to contest his supreme authority him, their lover, who obviously knows best as one of the Primarchs. The other side of him that he's been attempting to cultivate since waking is simply miserable. Lion wants to fall on his sword for his repeated failures to everyone and now, especially, his own lover.

Game: Is this a game to them?

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

Lion getting angry at his beloved is rare enough it could be counted on one hand but it has happened. When his beloved yearns for their lost freedoms too deeply despite an active danger he snaps.

The aura of a primarch is one of the most compelling a human can have, a mortal in his line of anger can do little to escape, even if they break themselves out of being a deer in the headlights.

The Lion, mature as he is, would do his best to never ever talk about it again. An apology in the immediate aftermath and an increased level of leniency and gifts for the next few months perhaps.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind with their darling?

It's a dream, one that he knows not to waste precious time chasing but he would like one day to 'settle down' with them, whatever that means in the context of the 40st millennium. To have them quietly beside him, rid of any resentment towards their captivity. The Lion could never truly stop fighting but he imagines what it would be like to have something else at the forefront of his mind, even for a day.

Perhaps the captivity of his love is the closest he will ever get to such a dream, and he has not quite reckoned with that.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? How bad is it?

Horribly jealous man he can be. In the past he may have confused jealousy with being slighted and acted accordingly. But now he has the emotional capacity to know when he is jealous but still have no clue what to do with those emotions.

Usually, his answer his is stricter constraints on his love and a quiet and immediate removal of the source of his ire. Jealousy is mostly applied to mortals, he knows intimately they have something he, even in all his glory, never can.

Kisses: How do they act with their darling?

He did not get any more normal acting sorry!!!!! Stiff as a board all the time. Much closer to a knightly gaurd than any type of lover. He's aware of this and makes little effort to, I don't know, initiate affection but still sometimes expects affection. Gets a little pissy if they don't catch his hints. (The hint was eye contact)

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

Courting? He's never heard of that. Him 'acquiring' his lover was like trying to trap a cat in a towel. Lion isn't thrilled about abusing his Primarch authority, but it is the easiest way to get his love stashed away and his.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

He's never masked in his life. Doesn't know how.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

Aside from the aforementioned increased restrictions (if they were allowed to leave their corner of the ship twice a week, it's getting knocked down to zero for the foreseeable future) he's not big on punishments. Consequences, sure, if they're trying to fuck around he will let them find out. (in a controlled environment where nothing seriously bad would happen, but the fear is still there)

Lion is aware that they don't understand his reasons and would prefer to avoid further misunderstandings, or agitating them to the point of lashing out further.

Oblivious: How conscious are they of their actions?

All things considered, very much so. He may find their "misunderstanding" of his intentions foolish and ignorant, but he can accept that his actions (coming from anyone but especially a primarch) are frightening to a mortal.

He would play dumb, however. In an effort to make everyone more comfortable with the very obvious kidnapping he'll act like nothing is wrong or weird and hope for the best!

Patience: How patient are they?

It depends on the context but as a general rule, he is moderately patient with them. He won't tolerate extensive fits but he does his best to be more patient than he would've in his former years. Less to do with them more to do with his #personalgrowth thats a bit misguided but his hearts in the right place.

Quit: If their darling dies or escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

Ah, no, lol. Mourning and grieving and regretting forever with this man. Wondering what he had done wrong, what could've saved him in their eyes. He racks his brain trying to pinpoint a moment where it all went wrong so he can make an easy fix, instead of combing through his behaviour as a whole.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

In a moment of indecisiveness he may let them go but would quickly, quickly recapture them after he retalks himself into being weird. He doesn't want them to leave him on a base level but a part of him truly believes that without him, without the protection of him and his legion, there is no life out there for them to lead.

Surveillance: How much or little privacy does their darling have?

A lot, relatively a lot anyways. Aside from the baseline somebody or something (servo skulls, watchers in the dark) always knows where they are and what they're doing, he cares very little what they do in their day to day life. So long as ☝️they make plans with/time for him.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling upset?

Unalled for: How erratic are they/their behaviour?

By traditional yandere standards? He's p normal. But make no mistake that Lion is kind of a wack job that just! does things! without telling anyone or explaining himself. And then gets annoyed when they don't agree with him???

Can make him bark like a dog if they say the right things to trigger his extremely predictable emotional reactions.

Forever in a way, he lacks the understanding to enter a 'proper' romantic relationship and instead stands at the outskirts of his beloveds world.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

He woukd not like to think of it as breaking, that would suggest damaging the person he loves which is an intolerable prospect. Lion woukd however like them to more receptive to his protection and he woukd go to great lengths to receive that approval from them. Whatever and however long it takes, he will have them acquiesce.
