They have a place for kids and teens too on the second floor! It’s dope! They do say though that as an adult I couldn’t use the bathroom. They don’t want those problems! Kids was in there playing some Area 51 game? They got a spot for toddlers to chill! They got that little area like you see at the doctors office where kids can go and kill time. But kids play on iPhones and shit now tho but it’s still dope!

3rd floor now. This place is friendly for those who are homeless. They got WiFi in here! Individual tables with outlets to charge your shit! Very very quiet in here since it is a library...duh K! Caught a young dude in here going over his football highlight tape. 18 years old, doesn’t know where he’s going to school, says he plays linebacker and running back. He was blasting on his highlight tape. He said his favorite player was Marshawn Lynch, just like mine!!! Also got a lil spot to watch tv! Onto the 4th and last floor...

4th and final floor now. It’s more secluded than the other three floors but they got books for years in this bitch! They got little study areas for people who want to chill and be by themselves. Whatever you want! Fiction, non fiction and everything in between!

Back on the first floor! If you go straight ahead from the entrance you’ll enter this other lil study hall area. They got more places to chill! They got iPads and computers and shit you can use! This is a dope ass public library. If you in the KC area and wanna check out a book...bring yo ass over here! They gotchu! If yo ass need to study for a test...come park yo dumbass over here and study!

Back at my old college there was a student lounge place I affectionately had dubbed “the weirdo lounge” because all the weirdos congregated there. You know those nerds who sit there and all they do is talk about anime, like those reddit pages, wear fedoras and shit? That kinda weirdos. So anyway the tragedy is that the Weirdo Lounge had THE BEST one person couch. It had a little laptop table attached and it was so damn comfy. Plus, it was always somewhat dark in there because of how the windows was positioned. So I’d go there to nap during my break periods. So one day I was napping when someone threw an empty plastic bottle at me and I snapped awake. A white nerdy girl from a few couches down said “I’m so sorry that was intended for my puppy to fetch!” and I’m like “DOGS?!” and I snap awake, that’s when I looked towards my foot and saw a whiteman. Sitting there. Like a dog. With his tongue out. and then he fucking barked. I was so infuriated but I handed him the bottle and he put that shit on the floor and then picked it up with his mouth. And then on all fours, ran over to the white girl and dropped it in her lap. I was so fucking upset.

This story was different actually??? And even better??? The girl, Brooklyn Andracke, used to wave at the truck every thursday and the trashman waved her back. It was a very important to her to do it every week.  It was HER birthday, and she decided that she wanted to share her birthday cake with the trashman. She also wanted to meet her hero, whose name is Delvar Dopson.

The girl’s mother thanked Delvar for his work and explained to him how important it is for Brooklyn to wave at him every thursday. He was pretty surprised but he admitted that every time he drove near the house he hoped that the girl would wave at him.  That’s not the end of the story though. Next week Delvar had a surprise for the little girl.

He brought her a bunch of amazing birthday gifts!

They both got quite popular, and Delvar is getting a lot of thank you messages from trashmen from all over the world for representing them in such a good way.
