Nicky bit his bottom lip in an attempt to not laugh at the other musician. Apparently, Flynn had no idea who he was, despite their billboards being right across from one another outside. Flynn's show had been tonight. Nicky's was tomorrow.

My band plays here the day after tomorrow so I'm scouting out the place. While this was the last stop on your tour, it's the first on mine."

Stiles just stood there processing the new information about Nicky. "That.... That explains a lot about your music but I know it was after me. Slowly, Nicky sat up and looked at Stiles. He could see the other in a new light and everything in him craved to have Stiles. He heard that some species had mates. Mates that they could find through sent or...simple sixth sense. He was almost certain in this moment that Stiles was his.

Slowly, he got out of the bed and made his way towards the other. One hand moved to rest on Stiles' hip while he brought his nose to the human's neck and took in a deep whiff, moaning softly.

Stiles caught his footing after getting shoved and turned, plunging the silver knife into the werewolf's shoulder and firing one shot into the feral werewolf's thighs to immobilize them.

"Find my phone if you can and call for back up," Stiles softly commanded Nicky as he lead the feral wolfman away from the wreck.

It took him a moment to be able to move as pain ripped through him from the bite. Bleeding, he found Stiles phone and called Scott McCall, knowing exactly who that was. He gave their location just before he blacked out.

When he woke up, he was in a bedroom, his arm bandaged though it no longer hurt. His senses were sharper and he knew he had survived the wolf bite.

Hopefully he wouldn't go crazy like the time he had been a vampire.

Nicky knew exactly what the man before him was. Werewolf. Funny considering in his past life, Nicky had been a vampire. But these words seemed oddly offensive to Nicky, maybe given the way he looked, and the fact that the other man had a badge.

There is a slap to his head as he turns to look at his bassist.

'Dude, you're going to get us arrested'.

A hand slapped over Nicky's mouth as his bassist took over.

'I'm sorry about him, sir. He has no filter and no self preservation instinct. We arrived here because our record producer has been absent from our recording sessions and we were worried. Which is...'

"I'm good." Stiles answered, unbuckling himself and getting out of the car. He had a bleeding hash on his forehead making him look even more rugged with the grease and grime on his exposed upper body. Stiles reached into his jeep and grabbed his hand gun and a dagger, getting ready for whatever just hit them.

"Do you see what hit us?" Stiles asked helping Nicky out of his jeep.

But that was a conversation for later.

With Stiles' help, he was able to get out of the jeep, but he rested heavily against it. He was pretty sure his right arm was broken. He couldn't move it.

Great. And right before a big charity show as well.

He stood beside Stiles and closed his eyes for a moment before opening his mind.

Then, with his good hand, he pushed Stiles away, just in time for teeth to clamp down on his good arm. Teeth meant for Stiles.

Nicky's eyes were focused on Stiles as they drove...and then he felt it, a strange dark presence.

He sat up, alert. Reaching out with his mind, he saw it before it hit them. Something massive that took the Jeep off the road and into a ditch. His hand reached out, trying to protect Stiles from getting too banged up, even as he took a brunt of the hit as his side of the car slammed into a tree.

"Fuck!"

His head was throbbing.

"You okay?"

"Just recently painted him fresh. Had to custom order the paint but I dunno man. That's a lot to offer as payment for a simple kind gesture. I dunno if I could accept that man," Stiles replied, glancing over at Nicky. He was slightly surprised with himself with out well he was reacting to the lead singer of one of his favorite bands in his Jeep. "What type of loner car? I don't think I could do a sports car or anything small. To used to a big man like Roscoe here," Stiles added, lovingly patting the solid stearing wheel.

"What kind would you want? The company has many types to choose from. And I don't think of it as anything big. For a cute guy like yourself? Hell, you're totally my type."

It's been a few months since he had called out to Lestat. It was hidden in his latest song as something that only a vampire would hear, but which had later been discovered by humans who had fully examined his music with the height of technology.

His voice speaking directly to Lestat now blasting through Youtube as vloggers tried to decipher the connection between his band and Lestat.

"Hey!"

He releases an annoyed sound as the books is pulled from his hands.

"I was reading it as a fiction. I had quite literally replaced your name in it as 'Lestan'. Look inside yourself."

He held a pen in is hand, and every mention of Lestat's name was altered.

"It's quite good story telling if you separate it from any ounce of truth."

Still, he let Lestat confiscate the novel and lay back against the couch he had been reading on.

"How did you sleep?"

Luckily, Nicky was mostly nocturnal himself. He often woke up a few hours before Lestat unless it was a day in the studio or getting ready for tour or some other work related event.

Today, he had been in the studio from noon onward.

"The album is almost finished by the way. Perhaps another week and we'll be done."

"If I could afford that I would but for now it's just small repairs and replacement parts," Stiles commented explaining as he drove off towards The Jungle. "Plus it's hard to find the parts for my car as is. A total work up like that would take so much more time than I'd enjoy."

"I think you may have misunderstood. For your kindness I am offering to have my own mechanic take care of your baby for you...and to supply a loaner until such time as he is fully back to his good old self."

Nicky smiled softly.

"Could even give him a fresh paint job."
