hoc day! ngl it might push to saturday...i have a deployment tonight which means a late work night, and i still a fair bit to write to get to the point in the timeline that i wanted for this chapter.

but in apology, accept this lil spoiler for chapter 28:

Alexia moans, hips pushing up as the need for more than groping and open-mouthed kisses grows more intense. "Inside," she gasps when teeth graze the pulse point on her neck.

Jenni pulls back slightly, eyes flicking down as her hand reaches to position the strap, gliding the head through the younger woman's wetness a few strokes before settling in at her opening and pausing.

The striker takes a deep breath, gaze raising to map the catalana's face as she pushes inside achingly slow.

Alexia's breath hitches, her chest rising as her head pushes back into the pillow. "Fuck," she pants, eyes snapping to Jenni.

She is not a stranger to having fingers inside, but this intrusion is something else entirely. The stretch, the fullness, the depth. As Jenni comes to rest, the strap fully inserted, Alexia groans lightly.

(get ready for like 3k words of smut)

i think it'll be a fun little piece with a nice concrete ending-point that might actually make me stick to the ten chapters i outlined it to be (mim and hoc both were 10-parters too once upon a time 😂)

that's still the plan. i have a few chapters left for hoc. then onto the ultimatum. and then i'll probably take a break for a bit. might do some oneshots here or there as inspiration hits, but i plan to take most of the summer off to recharge and slowly start banking chapters for rooted. but we'll see!

i loved how hoc is going :) they’ve both grown so much with their communication! and the scene with alexia and soledad was sooo touching (also i love that jenni’s sister is still kind of pissed at alexia lol)

lots of growth for them both. adult communication is a big yes from me!

lol felt accurate to big sister energy - “you hurt her imma hold a grudge until she tells me to loosen it up” 😂

Shane and Kehlani had such a good chemistry! I actually couldn't stop rewatching their scenes together. Tess was not it for me for Shane. Too bad it got canceled

Did you also start to follow barça femení in 2013?

i watched some matches then but started following the club more closely when jenni transferred over from tyresö in 2014. she was magic to watch in the swedish league, so when she moved, i started watching more barça to catch glimpses of her playing (well, depending on if i could find a stream or not lol)

Oooh, good choices. I was a sucker for Shane (unfortunately or fortunately, depends on the context) and Carmen. I'm still sad that we haven't gotten to see Carmen in the later seasons, bc I feel like she would be that petty person and show up with a new partner in front of Shane the whole time lol.

shane always had quite the draw for the fans lol but the young version of her doesn't quite do it for me. now older shane (before, you know, season 3's issues)? hmmm....i get it.

carmen is the danger zone. gorgeous but with a controlling/manipulative personality that should send a sane person running. hot only gets you so far in a rs when combined with those big red flags...but she sure is lovely to look at lol.

and now all this l word talk has me itching for a rewatch!
