my favorite personal headcanon (au?) is that lwj is in fact not that pretty. It’s just wwx is actually obsessed with him and has had a crush on him since day 1, but he’s usually either too dense or too preoccupied with other things to realize this, so he just walks around thinking everyone thinks lan zhan must be the most handsome man that has ever lived

but for the rest of the world? yeah lwj is good looking for sure, maybe 8/10, but certainly not a marble statue of a god walking among men who decided to grace the mortal world with his presence like wwx seems to think he is.
