i really want to draw. i want to make something for one of my friends. especially about their current favorite characters but i genuinely dont manage to do so atm. im glad i managed to make an edit at least today thats worth more than nothing. and i actually did draw but im not happy with the outcome of that one. gotta redraw it and get some time to recalibrate my pendisplay
i saw a post like this with a sephiroth plush. thought it would be funny if we had one with vani too. i dont have my selfmade vaniling plush anymore and didnt got the time zo make the creature again (and other reasons) so i drew a vaniling
cant wait for my friend to publish her fic with her au peeps and the designs she came up. i had the honor to redraw one of her wips into my style and i really like how it turned out bzt cant share it until she actually posts her stuff first </3

instas algorithm sucks so bad but im so used to post edits mainly there augh. especially now when i cant really get myself to draw (trust me im trying but i got so mad at my attempt on drawing vanitas i just quit again) that i at least try to edit again like i used to. BUT NO ONE SEES STUFF ANYMORE AND I CANT GO BACK TO MY OLD ACCS FOR THAT EITHER. i miss my old editing circle
well hello, not a drawing or doodle this time but a simple edit to celebrate myself for doing video edits for around 10 years now!

as this is quite a major thing for me even if it got less within the past year, video editing is a huge part of my life alongside this lil guy in here. ive started my journey in the end of may, beginning of june 2016 and it used to be a very important constant in my life, it was one of the few things that i felt proud of unlike drawing that still makes me feel hella insecure if im being honest. but editing was kind of another escape a different way to show love and support for the people and things around me.
im not editing much lately, barely even but i still do from time to time, in april i had a spike again where i edited a bit more again, and i really do need that from time to time. actually i wish to pick it up more again, as it helped me a lot, well 10 years already now. perhaps i wouldve been at 12 years of video editong if i had the ways to do it back then but it took until 2016 then i genuinely was able to try out and go ahead.
ive started out on cute cut for android which was my main editing program until late 2018 where ive gotten my first ever iphone and was able to use videostar, i had videostar pro for around 2 years as in late 2019 i made the big switch to after effects (cc19) but wasnt constantly using it until the middle of 2020 during that time i mainly edited on videostar after all with sometimes use of after effects. tho my journey could have ended there because in the middle of 2020 my ae stopped working and i couldn't bring it back in anyway, a project that i worked on for over a week was all gone not even the other laptop was able to save my file. that was almost my quitting point, but i decided to downgrade, i went with the cc18 version instead and that was then i fully switched over to ae as well. from that time i edited on after effects a lot and made many edits. around my birthday in 2023 i finally was able to use cc19 again due to having a new pc finally and since that ive been using cc19. every now and then i use cc18 or cc20 on my laptop when im too lazy to get out of bed but my main version is cc19.
back then i also jumped between a lot of different fandoms; in the middle of 2020 i decided to go for favorite medias instead, meaning i edited video game character, animanga ones etc, instead of real people or kind of actors? i dont really talk about the time of 2016-2020 in terms of fandoms. my interests always changed and i had always like one fandom in full focus while still being slightly multi.
my edits can be so much more than this 24fps one of the sora nendoroid but as im currently still not in the right place of my mind, its only simple. i still adore it a lot. its the first time i managed to edit sora basically without scrapping it and hating it wholeheartedly. no this time it makes me happy and im glad ive chosen this song, its one of my favs and i havent had the chance to use it yet. so having it be with sora alongside the 10 years of editing is super special to me.
i hope i will find my way back and be able to do animations again, as well as the 3d that i used to do. and hopefully this will be the start of editing sora more as he truly means a lot to me and it was long overdue. lil fun fact on the side, he was supposed to be the first character i edited for then i switched onto editing video game, animanga characters only, but as i never liked how it turned out... it basically took 6 years to finally edit him and be happy with it.
and his nendoroid is so super cute so it was easy to get along with it. so glad i own his nendos as well.
in case you did read until now, im genuinely grateful. you guys dont know me on here as a video editor but this is a huge part of me and i just wanted to share it. maybe ill share more ones on here or not who knows. but thank you for reading through my lil ramble about this. i actually have some mire to say but due to exhaustion and being hella tired, ill let it be. once more thank you <3
started replaying recoded. man i missed my data peeps. im both replaying birth by sleep and recoded now. so when my psp goes off i can easily play recoded, same the other way around if my 3ds dies i can play on my psp. i lowkey need to draw data riku... actually a drawing about recoded would be nice... well i'll see if my head comes up with anything or not. for now ill just continue playing and draw some characters here and there.
who will i draw today? who knows what will be queued next.
xemnas wip for now. im not 100% happy with it but i still like it enough to share it with yall.
we will see what the future holds for us i suppose.
just like the other posts this one is scheduled, most likely there wont be coming much for a bit as im genuinely just tired and exhausted and dont even manage to finish a piece properly anymore...
