One of the perks of working in a school is access to lots of different types of paper ! I've added some squared, graph, dotty and isometric paper to my diary sketchbook. I've completely covered the pages when it will be school holidays so I can do something a bit different with my drawings on those weeks to record what we get up to.

I got given a diary for Christmas from my mum, it has lots of Eric Ravilious’s drawings/prints in it which I love but I don’t really use a diary, I put stuff I need to remember in my phone or I just remember it….or I don’t !! The diary has lots of black space, even the dates and months aren’t written in for you and with the inspiration of Ravilious’s work on each page it’s become a sketch book. I’m aiming to fill January at least….and may be the whole year with a daily record of what I’ve been doing in sketches. I’m not planning to necessarily do a drawing everyday but that there will be a drawing for each day in the diary. I’ll see how it goes!
