recall that they’re doing it strategically because they’re trying to make Ben and adam miss a specific train, widening the gap between when they would arrive in Taipei. Sam and Mike’s train options are much more frequent, and they said they wouldn’t stalemate forever, just long enough to put the screws to Ben and adam, and hopefully they don’t even realize why.

I’m not saying it’s a perfect strategy, but they’re not doing it for the chips.

it’s only stupid if they lose, imo. it’s risky, but with how behind they are they *need* to neuter Ben and Adam’s ability to flip stations. I can’t think of a better way than making it logistically impossible for them to make it north early in the day.

@staff @changes Hi, I have been a tumblr user for 13 years. I’ve been through and dealt with many of the changes you have implemented in that time, some good some bad, but the changing of the very nature of how notes work is by far the worst one. Please undo this.

I already have a twitter account, I do not need nor want tumblr to be similar to it. I dislike the changes that have been occurring there and many other social media platforms, and viewed tumblr as a final bastion. But you are shooting yourself in the foot here. And I know many other users share this sentiment.

It’s getting harder as an artist to share my work online, please don’t make it harder on the place where mysillycomics was born.

sam layover I love and appreciate you and I get what you’re going for if people are traveling for the sake of travel, but I think you’re missing a key factor in the popularity of Japan vs Taiwan and why people travel to Japan (“most people go for the rail network” is such a wild “getting a lot of Boss Baby vibes from this movie” take)

Japan is the source of anime and promos said anime near constantly via shop/cafe collabs, which is a huge draw for many western tourists…myself included. I’m sure I would have a lovely time in Taiwan if I was primarily interested in general sightseeing! unfortunately I have problems disorder and the horse girls live in my brain
