He could feel that heated skin as he rested above the other, watching him carefully from behind the sunglasses. His eyes were only slightly dilated, taking in everything just a bit more than he should. But knowing that he could still focus in on Eren really said a lot about him, about his current condition. It was even easier for Eren to pop back to his feet, hovering over the two toned boy for a moment longer. “I’ll speak slowly. And I’ll go get you some food right now. Something nice and warm, easy to swallow.” He said, moving rather quickly back into the kitchen.
Though that was going to be the true problem for the night. Taking even a step into that kitchen was telling him everything he needed to know. Of course the other was reacting so strangely to the drug. Not only was he never seeming to go outside (even if that was his fault), he ate terribly. No, terribly wasn’t even a good word for it. Jean ate swill in a condensed soup form. Assuming that some of the vegetables and ingredients around were left by Marco, he scoffed slightly, plucking some of the older vegetables up and grabbing the broth that he knew would have far too much sodium in it.
Tsking slightly, he started to dive through the ingredients he had managed to scramble together, chopping and settling everything into a nice, warm pot. Spices went in right after, and it couldn’t have been twenty minutes before a nice, warm smell started to float through the small apartment. Yeah, he was going overboard for someone that he was supposed to just have met, but he had kissed the other already. Eren just didn’t want Jean to get too suspicious of what he was doing,
Every now and then he would wander over, giving Jean his phone, some water, changing the heated towel on his forehead every now and then. It was the amount of care your best friend, or your lover would give you, not the amount of attention a stranger would give. At one point, he actually knelt back down, pulling out his keys and the subsequent flashlight that was attached to it, checking the other’s eyes once again.
“Are you feeling better?” He asked, hoping that the other’s cravings would have started. A craving for food that wasn’t actually for food. Or if the other would get hard from just his body’s reaction. It was all a delicate balance that he had needed to test, and in his opinion, the test was failing almost miserably. “Dinner will be done in just a few minutes. Something not so overloaded with sodium that it makes your head explode. It’s a good think you had any vegetables at all in this house.” He joked lightly, running a hand through Jean’s hair.
He got up again after that, and just as he had promised, he came back with the warm soup. Completely vegetarian, something that if he got the chance, he could actually eat it with the other. Setting the bowl in his own lap, Eren grabbed the spoon and held it out to the other. “Tell me if you like it, all right?”
