Well, it's officially been one year on my chemo/poison pill today. I got the result of my lab work today from my oncologist. The verdict is that she wants me to continue taking these pills (nilotinib) for another year. How uneventful of news. I can not let it depress me because I need to stay strong. Someday, I will get the news that I am in remission, and I will be patient and strong til the day comes to fruition. I will defeat Leukemia, it's just going to take a little longer. #Leukemia #fighter #fuckcancer
