Monday musings

Saturday was the day for yardwork

My son is such a big help, wasn't as bad as I thought

It was the first years session of season so fountains and all that shit

My golf itch is being scratched both with TV and the masters and my driving range sessions

Soon the IT golf league starts and I'll be doing that a lot

I never told you about this dude I got paired with -nice guy but a sales bro, you all know that type

Booked time to go to Colorado this summer to see daughter

6 lbs down from my all time high in weight

Had a dude lined up to take data scientist position - got out bid - one downfall of non profit industry

I had a security incident at work a few weeks ago which turned out to be nothing but I'm gonna use it to be a hard ass with some security stuff at work

I know people love it when IT cracks down but it's such a gigantic risk lately, some people don't get it

Son got his license Friday!

Today marked the first day in 16 years I haven't dropped a kid off at school in some sort

It's that whole cliche, you never know when the last time will be.... Etc etc

I think I might be a lil sad?

Like it's always a pain to take the extra time to drop kid off, but ya know, for those parents in that phase of life, embrace it. They aren't around forever

Going to visit my mother end of this month, it's never a vacation, just stressful to see how weak she is

I need to schedule time to go back and see my mom, didn't go in September like normal... My brother had.... Well if you know how history, his symptoms for his mental illness kicked in for like 4 months, was not going there for that shit

I had to put down one of my dogs (down to one now) Saturday... Never gets easy. Poor dude was in bad shape

Guilt kicked in, thinking what I could've done better with that dog... Ugh
