I think what irks me most about fanon marauders is that everyone gets a personality but Sirius.

James is the sunshine, support beam, sporty and always here for you, cheerful guy with decent grades but especially he's a jock (wild interpretation of him, but that's not the point of this post)

Remus is super intelligent, talented wizard, abrasive but somehow likeable with a giant friend group, "bad childhood"™️, "anger issues"™️, brooding and deep guy (wild interpretation of him, but that's not the point of this post)

Peter is the token straight party boy that crushes on all the girls but never gets any and is overall an unassuming, sweet and supportive friend who is mildly studious and into Herbology (wild interpretation of him, but that's not the point of this post)

And then Sirius...is hot. And pretty. That's it. He is dramatic and really into Remus and too stupid to do anything on his own. He doesn't have his own thing. Remus is his thing. I think this is a downright appalling interpretation of him and that's exactly the point of this post.
