Announcement of Rena Nozawa's Concurrent Position in JKT48 and AKB48

The first time that a member from overseas sister group gets double position in AKB48!

In relation to the fact that Rena Nozawa, JKT48 Team J, has to return to Japan, it was announced in JKT48 theatre on Tuesday, 18 June 2013, that Rena Nozawa will be undergoing double (concurrent) position in JKT48 and AKB48. This is the first time in the history of 48Group whereby a member from overseas sister group gets a concurrent position in her original group as well as in AKB48. Nevertheless, Rena Nozawa will continue her activity as JKT48 Team J member as usual.

Rena Nozawa, whose parents are both of native Japanese origin, passed the final round of JKT48 first generation audition in November 2011, and she became the only Japanese member at that time. Later on along with Aki Takajo and Haruka Nakagawa from AKB48, Rena became the members of JKT48 Team J.

As Rena highly regards the importance of conveying this news personally, the announcement was made directly towards the fans at JKT48 theatre.

Information regarding Rena Nozawa's (AKB48) team and planned activities will be announced on a later date.

Do you know if anyone has subbed the Ichikomeda interview Sawa did with Katotan shortly before she announced her graduation? With my poor japanese skills I can just about make out the general topics - but not much more than that.

since Shawako graduates, have you decided new oshimen?

Hi anon!I love many SKE members, but a handful of them have graduated. Before Shawako graduated,I contemplated of having Dasu/Airin as my new oshimen. 2 friends of respective members' oshi were even PR-ing the girls to me!!!I thought that Shawako leaving SKE would mean that it is time for me to let things go and find a new top favourite (not substitute). Who knows that after all, I could not do so. I find it difficult to get a new oshimen. This could perhaps be partly attributed to my face-to-face meetings with her, whether in Singapore (concert, akb shop event) or Japan (18 Dec '11 Okidoki handshake at Port Messe,kouhaku). Those experiences were SURREAL. There are probably other reasons which I am unable to put them into words.
