Character notes and doodles! I haven't done a lot of setting work in a long time. It feels good to put this fun lil guy in context.

Blurb reads: "In Xu Min-Faal's culture a name is first given by parents, then added to as you grow and change. Adding a name to yourself is Taboo.

Added names can be events, important people to you (like a partner) or status symbols.

Most people are called by their most recent name. So while 'Kyral' is his name- he's called Min-Faal."

It's not in the picture, but note that 'Xu' is a diminutive particle only appearing in speech. The monks call him Xu Min-Faal because he's young- his full name is Kyral Min-Faal.

I have AMAZING news: Cats Out! is funded to print 50 copies! I am beyond grateful. I'm absolutely floored. Thank you all so much.  This being my first crowdfunding experience I was a little nervous going in. I'm glad I decided to go for it. Thank you so much for your support of my work. It really means so much to me. I hope you all enjoy the comic! I'm playing around with ideas for a sequel, so keep your eyes peeled on my Instagram (@avking.art) for updates on that.
