Look. I know Erik has never stated it outright…

…but in my head Lincoln is MASSIVE. Crazy tall, yes, but also SOLID. He has to be, to account for the weight of gravity. He’s just BIG. But he’s also hella shy, and everyone is always watching him, which he has shown to be hyper sensitive to.

Logical conclusion?

Lincoln slouches and tries to make himself as small as possible, which is why he always sits. He always wears hoodies, and hides in the deep hood so he doesn’t have to see all the eyes that follow him.

We’ve seen Lincoln get Cold Angry, when he stopped that asshole from picking on Corvus. He kept his cool, was stern and sharp, but was also fully able and willing to show people he is not to be messed with. He didn’t care about who saw because he knew his rage was kept under control. And imma be so real, I think it’s the hottest thing Erik has done for a character in a long while.

That being said, what I wouldn’t give for Lincoln to just fucking explode in a protective fiery rage against someone, and properly let his feelings out against some who hurt him and / or the people he cares about.

i think each guy shows a different aspect of dreamer and reflects dreamer back at themselves, so in turn as they learn to love the guys, they learn to love themselves. Corvus obviously representing their time in project meridian, theo i'm assuming will represent their probable fears of vampires, and lincoln...maybe their powers? the feeling of being ostracized for being different? something like that.
