FOG AS A BULLET
re: @handall
to clarify: he’s not a stalker.
what follows seems to be a string of odd coincidences, give or take a handful that wasn’t and might quite possibly teeter the line of stalker-ish. but again, not a stalker. it is sheer coincidence that shin seohwan lived in the same complex as him. and an even bigger one that he resided on the very same floor as a mutual’s, which was excuse enough for him to almost always loiter about (and this is where it toes the line of stalker); roughly around hours of the day in which seohwan is on the way out.
you know, mornings before school and so on. fated ‘meet cutes’ or whatever the hell you wanna call it.
if such a thing can even be considered among friends. emphasis on, you know.
but today’s not the day to replay last year’s failed confession and half-assed rejection. nor is it exactly the time to debate the morals behind using yassine as an excuse to pace around the second floor like a predator on the prowl (it’s perfect, isn’t it? if anyone (seohwan) sticks their head out, he’d have the perfect alibi). today’s—well, if eunrin’s being perfectly honest there’s nothing particular grand about the day; there’s seldom any particular rhyme or reason needed for someone to want to see their crush.
so it’s without much planning that he heads for the second floor, steps slowing and pulse quickening once he nears unit 202. slow drawn anticipation prickling at the back of his neck, it’s only then that eunrin starts to ponder on what it was he should say—what excuse is fitting here—or exactly how can one phrase let’s get dinner in a totally oh-i’m-not-into-you-anymore way.
if that’s even remotely possible.
though all that comes to an abrupt halt, however, lady green is quick to lock her thighs tight around his head, muffling all reason at the sound of seohwan’s notably agitated voice seeping through thin walls. is he in there with someone?
cut to the blooper reel of one or two times eunrin had run into him with someone attached to his side. which, if you think about it—was embarrassing enough between the two of them, especially considering he was rejected.
and yet, somehow, this time, this time, instead of following the gut feeling to get the hell out of dodge, our poor pathetic simp forms a tight fist and knocks against the door.
so what if it’s embarrassing? it’s not the first time. hasn’t he been trailing after shin seohwan like a dog on the street this whole time?
